I've tried different protein options and I have no complaints - the shrimp is flavorful and has a good bite to it, carnitas are so moist, and carne asada is cooked perfectly. The loaded potatoes are soooo good... it's a baked potato with meat, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and chipotle sauce (depending on which protein option you get). It's so decadent and heavy, but if you're craving some saucy potatoes this is perfect. Side note: the salsas on the side can get pretty spicy. My main complaints are with the wait times and non-transparent prices. A week ago I came here at 7:40PM on Friday (they open at 7:30PM) and I ordered a potato el bandido with shrimp - it took 25 minutes! Now, it was absolutely delicious, but it was wild to me how long it took for a single item. Besides that, I don't think anyone's ever a fan of places that have their prices hidden. I've been going to this spot for over a year and they've always had their prices covered. I know I can ask the cashier when I get there, but there are typically lines and I feel bad taking up more time asking for the price of multiple options. Overall though, good spot for tacos and other options. There are like two benches if you plan on eating there, and there's a whole additional parking lot if you're coming during busy hours. Cashier and workers are polite and helpful. Definitely check it out!

He posted about Mariscos El Tiburon and I saw how their fish ceviche looked and it was reminiscent of my favorite truck in Commerce named Mariscos El bigeton. Their fish ceviche weren't big chunks, they were like these little balls of fish, so good! So since their ceviche looked like theirs and I didn't have to be in LA for it, I jumped in the car so fast LOL. The truck is off a side street but not exactly on 5th, its in a neighborhood facing Saranitas tamale factory. Thank God I had my eyes peeled. I pulled up, great service! I ordered 2 fish ceviche tostadas, an El Jefe taco and of course had to see what their carne asada was working with. Everything made fresh to order. Got home ans opened that bad boy up. The owner was so sweet and threw in an extra El jefe taco. They're HUGE and loaded with shrimp, fish, pico de gallo, cabbage and a sauce. If you reheated the fish component in an airfryer, omg made a perfect bite!! Definitely eat that there or reheat in the airfryer with the cold components off to the side and top when done. The carne asada taco, also loaded and super fresh! I could use a little more bristle on the meat. I love a fatty carne asada HA! The ceviche was excellent !!! So fresh, he loaded me with avocado as I requested. It literally tasted like my loved El Bigeton :) I will come back to this truck easily when the fish ceviche craving hits.
