This is a great food truck. Really enjoyed the empanadas, they were crispy, fresh and just the right size. I also had the Birria tacos. These tacos are packed with flavorful meat and for the right price. Good quick service is always appreciated. Ate my food so fast I forgot to take pictures. Grab a brewski from the liquor stores and sit back and enjoy your meal.

Everything was great. Please be patient they work hard. Food was delicious . Biriani taco and ceviche was delicious.

4 stars because it is cash only, and I couldn't purchase anything on my first attempt here . However , second times a charm . The food is delicious . I ordered the mango ceviche (camaron y pescado) (shrimp && fish) tostada to go . So the tostada was separate , perfect! Also a empanada de Camaron and one horchata de coco . I recommend coming here to try the food . Unfortunately the food truck does not have the sushi rolls , but if your in the area try something off of the truck . BRING CASH!!!

The food was good ,but this time the Cocktail was very salty & we came to realize they over priced the food. Tostada mixta & is really dried the octopus is too hard & they don't clean the shit on the shrimp also no cilantro & no taste. Here goes almost $100 dollars worth of bad food. So disappointed. Sad thing came to pick when about to closed & can't go back to complain.

Honestly I can't complain! The ceviche was bomb ass f**k! Of course we bought the pisto separate, they don't have a license to sell alcohol, so that's kinda wahhwahhwahhh But it's coo at the same time because it's a truck. Friendly customer service. I will be back for sure

This place is great! I ordered the aguachile verde and a fish taco. The aguachile was pretty spicy, just the way I like it and so fresh! It's my new favorite. The fish taco was very nice. As delicious as the food was, the service was just as good. My server was very sweet and helpful. I highly recommend this place. I was also able to pay with a card, which I think is new.

Live very close, tried it, Solid!…read more I was hungry and a fish and shrimp taco are BIG! As their menu explicitly states, and they are priced accordingly, around 5-5.50 each. I got fish, shrimp, and a potato taco since supposedly that was good too, it was very crispy and flavorful, my favorite though is from The Corner in HB for a mashed potato taco ;) SHRIMP: think this was primo - shrimp felt warm, big, juicy, flavorful, there was hotsauce on it as the menu states iirc. Might consider getting TWO of these instead of the fish. FISH: solid! Comparable to the ensenada fish tacos in fullerton I think? Or maybe that one is slightly better, been awhile. Overall - solid spot, not the cheapest but the quality is good and they don't skimp on protein. Not as good as tacos los cholos but that's further away, this is next door and again - they specialize in different meats!

This place has a wonderful selection of Mexican favorites to choose from. They are also a tad on the pricey side but I think that's just par for the course in this recession unfortunately. The lady behind the counter was most helpful in answering questions and navigating me through their menu. They will hand you a whole bottle of salsa to use at your leisure which is just lovely! The salsa verde was one of the best I have ever tasted. I'm coming back here tomorrow, and bringing a friend.

Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.

Combo #2 - Tacos Dorado and Enchilada plate with rice and beans. This comes with a hard beef taco and a cheese enchilada. I upgraded to have chicken in my enchilada for an extra $1.50. The enchilada was saucy and cheesy and stuffed with huge chunks for chicken white meat. The taco was in a crunchy fresh fried shell and packed with shredded beef, lettuce and cheese. The dish came with so much rice that I couldn't finish it. I know it's a basic, standard dish, but they did it well with generous servings. Chips with Guacamole - They pour on the guacamole over the chips and there was plenty so that each chip had plenty of guac. The chips were lightly salted corn chips that were medium light thickness. Great if you are craving chips with guacamole. Enough to share as a side, or enough for one really hungry person to polish off along with a main dish. The restaurant staff was friendly and the food came out quickly and my dish was steaming hot. I will come back to try something else along with their horchata and jamaica drinks!

We learned that the owners here are the original cooks and siblings of the late owner of the first location, which made the experience feel even more meaningful. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted. Since it was our first visit, we took our time looking over the menu, and the cashier was incredibly patient and never made us feel rushed. We ended up ordering a burrito combo, a chile relleno combo, a hard taco and enchilada combo, two taco combos, and a few horchatas. The portions are definitely generous, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. While we were waiting for our food, one of the owners came over and chatted with us about the restaurant's history. He shared that after the original owner passed away, many of the longtime cooks and staff decided to come together and open this new location, continuing the recipes and traditions they had been serving for years. Hearing that story, along with the genuine warmth and hospitality we experienced, made us appreciate the restaurant even more. It's not often that you find great food paired with such sincere customer service. They made us feel like regulars from our very first visit. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, generous portions, and a family-owned business that truly cares about its customers, Los Grandes Originales is definitely worth a visit. Wishing them nothing but success!
