We arrived on time and were seated. Shortly after, another party of five who were white arrived and were warmly welcomed, thanked for making a reservation, and offered complimentary appetizers. We were not acknowledged in the same way and were not offered anything. The difference in treatment was noticeable and uncomfortable. My money is green and my family deserves the same level of service and respect as any other guest regardless of the color of our skin. Because of this experience, we chose to leave.
