My friend brought me and I am sad that I didn't know about them earlier! I got tacos and she got a burrito: the burrito was the size of my forearm and delicious! 4he flavors were so on point but my tacos!! I got a mix of chicken, barbaccoa and I think steak? They literally have me a to go box to fill with salsas and toppings from their selection outside the truck. Went while in town visiting a friend. She had heard that this place was really good and had seen long lines during lunch. I got 2 tacos - one carne asada and one buche. (Side note: we called ahead and I actually ordered pollo instead of carne asada) I'm glad for the error though. The carne asada was so flavorful!!! It was like the Gods knew that I wanted that instead of pollo. Haha When we arrived to pick up and add the topping on it, a guy who worked there looked at me and asked if I knew what buche was. For some reason I guess I give off the vibe that I'm not from around there! Haha. Lucky I looked at the reviews before and knew that buche was pig stomach. Another reviewer said that it was good so I wanted to give it a try. They were right! It had a little kick of spice that I didn't expect and creeps up on you, but overall very good. I had a chicken burrito. It was exquisite. It was literally ripping at the seems. Juice running all over my fingers. Shreds of chicken and bits of beans and rice on the sides of my mouth. Small children and elderly women running away from me in disgust. It was exquisite. I threw my aluminum foil out the window of my automobile in the general direction of The Man. This place is pretty high up in the running for the best chow I ever had at a food car arrangement. However, there are places (in other cities, mostly the kind they call coastal) that this place can't quite hold a candle to, but do not be dissuaded, please eat here, you treacherous tourist cretins!! This place is the bomb! I am a taco fiend, and wanted to try the best rated spot in Santa Fe while visiting after New Years. I tried the 4 taco plate, carne asada, carnitas, barbacoa and al pastor. The carnitas were just a little on the dry side, but still delicious. In their defense, I couldn't add on the sides offered (extra chili sauce, cabbage). The marinated onions that came with were SO good (reminded me of the Brazilian side offered at many restaurants there). The Al Pastor and Barbacoa to die for. Very fresh, authentic and delicious. The tacos were so good that I went back the next day for breakfast tacos. Trust me, you have never *had* a breakfast taco until you've had these! I've been eating breakfast tacos my whole life and these were the best. They were closed Easter weekend, so I went back today to try the carnitas. I only wish I lived here so I could visit more often. They are friendly and the food is OUTSTANDING! (Note: be careful what you ask for. Great little shop. Wife has the al pastor quesadilla and I had the carne asada burrito. Both of us were hoping for a little more char on the meat to draw out the flavor, but both left satisfied and full. Love the green sauce as well, highly recommend. I just left this little taco place & I'll be dreaming of their tacos forever. We stopped by after meow wolf before we caught our flight. Do yourself a favor & stop by. The people are so nice. $8 for 4 tacos. We got the adobada, carnitas, carne asada & bucha. Hands down the carnitas and bucha were my favorite. Highly recommend everyone coming to Santa Fe to try this taco stand. I was recommended by some locals who know their Mexican food. I honestly haven't had too much experience with authentic Mexican food, but I can taste good food when it's in my mouth. The flavors were phenomenal, I had the soft shell chicken tacos. My friend got the Barbacoa which was also amazing. The sauces were flavorful and packed just the right punch. The bonus was the Chile on the side and I liked how when you get take out they assemble the toppings in a ziplock bag so you can add the toppings yourself. I got three tacos for around $10. Wow! Where do I begin... I love that this food truck is off the beaten path. It's quaint and fast. The people are very very nice and probably hands down best tacos I've had in New Mexico. On our way home from the fabulous Balloon Festival in Albuquerque we decided we were hungry. Hitting Yelp to find the best of the best Mexican style eats we happened across this little 5 star gem. It's a rough gem, like completely uncut, but it's big and naturally beautiful. We were impressed to see only 5 star reviews. We weren't about to pass it up. I can now say I understand what the fuss is about. So let me add to its greatness by adding another 5 star review. On a regular day, barring any hunger pains, one wouldn't give this place a second thought, were it not for the line of people willing to brave fierce winds for a taste. It's a cart. No seating. No frills. A cart. We each ordered tacos, which wasn't easy as they were out of a few choices (I understand why now). The staff were friendly and patient with us. Even the customers were friendly, as a gentleman handed me a sauce to try with my tacos, proclaiming it's excellent flavor. As I said before, there is no seating. And had it not been for the wind I would have plopped my behind right there on the sidewalk in front of the cart. No problem, however. We just faced the car into the wind and popped the tailgate. Believe me when I say, these tacos were messy good. I can't say much for my travel companion, but I even licked my fingers clean! Who needs a napkin with food that good? The only downside? Amazing tacos! Be adventurous and try the buche. I had the buche, pollo en adobo, abodaba, & carnitas. Most spicy: pollo en chipo. Most flavorful: carnitas. The other 2 were excellent as well and fun to try. I tried the marinated onions and it was great on the pork with the fresh slaw on all but didn't end up eating as much of it as the meats weren't all as spicy as anticipated. Corn tortillas were cooked well, a little crispy on the edges & soft enough that it didn't fall apart. Easy to find, great service. No breakfast when we arrived at 1pm. read more

I only ever want to get burritos from here, as other places always let me down (including chiliworks in los alamos, which I used to love until I came here and saw the light).
