Food here was honestly just ok. My issue was with the restaurant's hygiene. I was given a water glass with lipstick on it. The Parmesan cheese I asked for came in a jar that was sticky and greasy. The service was decent. Restaurant was packed and diners seemed satisfied. I'd look elsewhere for Argentinian cuisine.

Finally got to try this place after having take out. Solid food. Parking in this area can be tough. We arrived at 6:15 and it took a few minutes to be seated. By the time we were done, the place was packed. Food is good but a bit expensive but you will have leftovers for sure.

They are two El Gauchito's and we like this the most. Knowing the people that used to serve there from another historical restaurant La Esquina de Don Chicho's makes us going back to remember a very very classic Argentinian restaurant that is not longer opened after his owner passed away. This El Gauchito II is located next to the expressway so parking could be a challenge but well worth it. Greetings from C&Gast

I loved this place it was delicious and the service was amazing. We came on a Friday night and there were other families there eating their dinner. I loved the atmosphere; I could feel the love in the food. The food was delicious we ordered a paradilla and roasted potatoes. We also ordered the red sangria and empanadas. We also ordered a pasta dish which was also good. I would definitely come back and I recommend this place. I would order another paradulla but without the organ meat for me I wanted more meat cuts that were not organ meats. The waitress was amazing she was very attentive and friendly.

Expensive and meat is tough. Not sure what the appeal is for this restaurant. I've been here twice, not by choice, and both times I was disappointed. With that price tag I expect meat that melts in your mouth but instead I get really tough meat that works your jaw and teeth and make sure you bring floss!

A must-visit for steak lovers. The cuts are perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The service is warm and professional, making the whole experience unforgettable. Definitely one of the best steakhouses I've ever been to.

Came here on a whim with my husband while driving home. We just wanted to stop to use a bathroom and get some snacks. So happy we did, we ordered grilled calamari, empanadas and yuca fries. Everything was so delicious and freshly made but came out pretty quickly!! We were slightly obsessed with the bread and garlic and oil they gave on the side for dipping. We loved the music playing the background, fun and relaxing- a great interlude to our travels. I wish I ordered more!

We came here by accident but it's a good thing we did. Everything we ordered was yummy and reasonably priced. Seriously, the bread dipped in garlic and olive oil and the chicken empanadas were some of the best I've had in years! Another good sign for this place is that it was pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon between lunch and dinner. Would happily come back and try some of the other things on the menu.

Amazing food. Definitely tasty and delicious. We got seated in the back, which I don't recommend. Slower service. Try to get seated in the front. Staff is so friendly and nice. Highly recommend coming here if you want a good steak.

    Chorizo, molleja, and fries

Overall this was a pretty good spot! It feels really homey in the restaurant and the servers are super nice. We started off with the chorizo and molleja. I would skip the chorizo and just go for the molleja next time. I've had better chorizo called Mr. Tango which you can get in Latin stores. The molleja was great though, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. My skirt steak (entraña) was delicious! Maybe a little too much salt for my taste, but nothing you can't just scrape off. My dad got the vacio and my mom got the beef milanesa - both delicious! For the sides, we got fries a la Provençal (parsley and Parmesan) which were okay, and the ensalada rusa was good! For dessert, we got the panqueque de Dulce de leche. It didn't stand a chance for a picture, we inhaled it! I'll definitely be coming back.

they call it medium rare, I call it medium raw, with veins

Two tables taken at 4pm, 03/22 Sat for 10 minutes before any acknowledgment. Walked up to front, asked for water, and clean glasses (they were filthy). As two other parties arrived, they were given prompt attention (everyone in restaurant were Latin, except us... we were on the Gringo List). The fascio looked like the picture of the shell steak, too. The "cook" doesn't know how: he thinks fast blackening of the outside and leaving the inside raw is equivalent to medium rare. Waited 10 minutes for wife's fascio to be re-cooked. Then exposed the disaster pictured. It should not be called a "steakhouse", more like a coffee shop. Seems others also said service was terrible: think they don't want Caucasians. No problem. Horrible, and won't be back.

How was the music at the restaurant? Sorry let me make myself clear, the music was a bit off, too loud and not the appropriate music to have dinner too.

One thing that really bothered me was that the waiter accidentally placed another customer's skewers on our plate, then took them back and served them to the other table. That was very off-putting and made me question the restaurant's food handling practices. As for the food itself, the seasoning seemed off and the dishes were a little bland for my taste. It may simply be a matter of personal preference, but the flavors did not impress me. The restaurant is located inside a building and is fairly small. The atmosphere is a bit dark, which wasn't my preference either. Overall, the experience was just average, and I don't think I would return. It may appeal to others, but the food and atmosphere were not my style.

The service was good "quick" as usual. We were met as we entered the restaurant by a female service however she had a mouth full of food. We ordered the Braised Short Rib and the Chicken Tagine. It was obvious that my food had been simply thrown into a microwave. The couscous although hot it was overcooked and mushy. The chicken was warm on the bottom but extremely cold as I cut into it. The Short Rib dish had the same problem. The pasta was steamy hot but the rib was cold. I really don't have a problem eating cold beef, but I can't eat cold chicken. I would have sent my dish back however it was obvious that they weren't going to make a new dish I felt they would have just nuked it longer.
