Delicious tacos! Delicious torta! The food here is very tasty. Juicy pork in taco and juicy beef in torta and sandwich. They can be busy but the food come out quicker than I expected. Food is fabulous. Cooked fresh while you wait. Love the tacos. Heard they had applied for liquor license - a cold beer with these tacos will be a great addition. 3.5 stars the place is super clean, extensive menu that includes pizza wings apps as well as an extensive Mexican food menu. I like the abundance of options. I asked what a huaraches was and didn't really get an explanation. I stuck with two shredded beef tacos. $7.70. To add rice and beans drink would be almost $14 for the combo meal. My tacos were good, tasted fresh. BF ordered the chicken chimichanga al la carte. It came nicely topped but was heavy on beans vs chicken on the inside at almost $11 for just the chimi, not really worth what you're paying. Overall, The combo meals are pricey compared to other fast food Mexican joints near by. I am interested in trying this again and next time will go for a huaraches or birria. El Gordo took over a great pizza restaurant that closed but El Gordo is even better! The menu has over 30 combos that include rice and beans with a drink. They have exactly what you are craving plus a la cart items. We tried the chile Riano/taco, street tacos and a burrata burrito. The flavors were strong and did not disappoint! The ingredients were fresh and the food was served hot. The seating was basic, the music was a little too loud, but the restaurant was very clean. It's on the way home from work so it will be a great place to pick up takeout. They advertise breakfast burritos, so we might have to stop in the morning, too. read more

The man at the counter was very friendly - 3 gentlemen at a table - we watched their food come out - HUGE portions! We got home and I wasn't sure how good the food would be, but I was extremely pleased with the carne asado tacos with a great salsa and fresh lime. With this new place being right behind our neighborhood we thought we would take a chance. The service was fast, the restaurant was clean and the food was way better than any of us were expecting. The street tacos were some of the best I ever had - and the regular tacos with freshly made taco shells were a hit. Salsa was just spicy enough and salsa verde did not disappoint. I am a lover of Mexican food and love to support local businesses. I even went in several times to ask if they were open yet because I wanted to support them. The Al pastor street tacos are amazing... best I have found in the area. I have gone several times however... they raised their prices on the street tacos from 1.70 something per taco to almost 3 dollars. I got 4 tacos this week and paid $12 dollars... hopefully they will either bring back that price or have a day where tacos are discounted... my friend who also loves Al pastor and loved their tacos said she will not go there again since they raised the prices. I love Al pastor so much that I will still go just not the once or twice a week as $12 is steep for street tacos in my opinion. Will probably have to be a once in a while treat for me..:( the spicy carrots are also amazing however last few times have not been given them even after asking for them, the first time didn't even have to ask.
