Solid 4 on the burrito. Was not a huge fan of the red sauce but I was steak going to town in this. Lots of onions, a bit more than should be but rice and beans were great and not runny or under cooked. Chicken was seasoned pretty good on this and the food was super quick once we ordered. Hard to find some parking but if you wait you will find a quick spot as they don't take long to dish up a meal.

I cleaned my plate and asked for more! So yummy!

We squeaked in an hour before close and got our food fast! These guys work hard and you can tell because the food is DELICIOUS! I'm saving this place so I can come back. Muchas Gracias! Way better than El Cap! Go to El Herradero, your tongue will be happy.

Chips with sides of salsa and spicy refried beans my husband is having 3 chicken flautas beans and rice.

Excellent choice for authentic Mexican food. We will definitely come back when we visit our daughter who attends ISU.

I use Yelp to find gems like this place. Astonishingly good green salsas (green chili, tamatillo), and really the best beans this Arizonan has had. Stunning flavors. Excellent service and very reasonable prices.

If you want good Mexican food. This is the place. Good street tacos al pastor. If you want a fancy overpriced place this isn't it.

By far the #1 Mexican restaurant in Pocatello! Best prices and best food! The service is good and never too long of a wait for our food.

Great food! Never disappointed. Fast and friendly service time after time. It's a nice change from my usual Tex-mex place.

It set the tone for the rest of our time there. They have a yummy cheese, salsa, bean and chip combo that we ordered for our appetizer and it was over the top. The food was amazing and our servers were very attentive. We will definitely be going back.

If you are in Pocatello, eat here…read more We dined on a Friday night. 90% capacity. No line. A little slow to get us seated but as kind as other reviewers have noted. Everyone was kind. Thank you! Dinner took 30 minutes to reach our table. A little long and it's not like they were full with a line of people waiting. Their chips looked and seemed generic, but they were good. Salsa was about a 10/10 for me. Flavor, heat, consistency. Perfect. Bean dip was good. Nacho queso was fun, but a little plain. I appreciated having it. I had 3 shredded beef tacos, and beans and rice. One of my major complaints of an otherwise very good experience. Is that two out of my three tacos were soggy by the time I got to them and I tried to get to them immediately before I started in on the beans and rice to prevent eating soggy tacos. Anyway, that was a big disappointment. Beyond that, the freshness and flavor and quality was great. I enjoyed everything. I would definitely eat here again. I'm not sure if my tacos were soggy from the tomatoes or the shredded beef or because they were sitting under the heat light for too long. I would need to figure that out next time, if I'm ever in Pocatello again... There was live music, and that was fun. At the end of our meal thy brought out chips with cinnamon, whipped cream, and caramel drizzle. Free of charge. This is not my type of thing at all. But I have to admit it was a nice little treat after dinner and was very, very good. The only reason I'm not giving this a five star review is because of the soggy tacos. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Everything was great.

Good: Pleasant, adequate service…read more Nachos are a good choice -- good allocations of ingredients and the portion size is huge serving -- a half order is 2 meals or easily shared by two people. I like the green enchilada sauce better than the red. Others in our party like the red. Needs Improvement: One of the rare times I haven't liked the salsa at a Mexican restaurants. Primary flavor was sour, and I'm puzzled how they managed that. Chips weren't very good. Chile relleno wasn't something we'd order again. Bottom line -- it's kinda hit and miss on the offerings here. Some things they do well consistently (like cheese crisps and nachos) while other things are off enough you are discouraged from coming back. Oh, and watch your step walking into and through this restaurant. Odd steps, slopes that can trip if you're not paying attention.

I love fish tacos! I don't love fish tacos from Mama Inez. I'll tell you why in a bit…read more My mom ordered two cheese enchiladas, and a ground beef taco. My daughter ordered street tacos, and my son ordered the Chili Colorado steak burrito. The ground beef taco was good with just the right amount of seasoning, the cheese enchiladas had a great sauce and was served with Spanish rice. My son's burrito had good flavor and the meat was extremely tender served with a really good enchilada sauce. My daughter's street taco was just ok. To me, there was nothing special about his they cooked the meat and could've used more seasoning. Now for my fish tacos. First off, I made the mistake of ordering mango salad and pico degallo on the fish tacos. Their secret sauce tasted like ranch dressing. Nothing secret about that. The fish was not the least bit crunchy or flaky. It was mushy. The flavors did not mesh at all. And where is my lime? Don't order this one. Overall, I thought the sides were good, the rice, and the beans. My only criticism with these sides, they needed more salt to make the flavors pop. I'm down to trying this place again. Just not going to order fish tacos again.
