    Arrachera

The food had zero flavor. I ordered the Arrachera, and when it was brought out it looked like it had been sitting on the side of the grill for a few hours. With it being 92 outside I was hoping to eat in an air conditioned restaurant, and at least have a cold beer but neither of that happened. I hate leaving bad reviews, but come on do better.

Nice atmosphere. I order Togo at the front counter and had a pleasant and quick experience. As for the food it was good. Standard Mexican food. The tacos were loaded and tasted good.

I ordered three different tacos (shrimp, steak and birria). Very flavorful

I visited this place with one of my girlfriends for dinner. She suggested the place. Very friendly and diverse atmosphere. Javier, our waiter, was wonderful. We order our dinner along with the house margarita special (frozen). It was very good! Although my rice was a little salty for my taste everything else was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for some authentic Mexican food. The sauce on the nacho plate was delicious!

This spot is right around the corner from our house and I've passed it a million times so I finally decided to stop in for a meal. The interior is so much bigger than it appears and there is plenty of seating available as well as a few tables outside. Safety measures have been in place including: masks, gloves, and sanitizer. You do still have to go to the desk to pay in person so that has not changed. As for the food, I had a hard time finding something to order that didn't have some source of dairy, but we enjoyed the chips and salsa, tacos, and rice and chicken with a mushroom gravy. Food came out so fast! And the qualities and quantities were plenty. We boxed up the leftovers for the next day.

If you want some good authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. They support our community our teachers so support them.

Went with residents. They all were completely happy with their meals. Everything from Chimichangas to Taco salad to Speedy Gonzales. I had never tried fried Ice Cream... really tasty

Came on a Friday night, place was overall busy but seated as soon as we arrived. The host could have been a bit more welcoming. Our server was great. The food was seasoned well, proportions are large which is wonderful if you want some lunch for the next day. Everything we ordered was fresh tasting and hot. So if you are looking for a good amount of food that tastes good for a decent price this is your place! Minus one star just cause the place needs a good cleaning lol looks a bit outdated

I've been meaning to try this place and we finally had a chance to go. It was pretty good. I ordered the steak enchiladas and the meat was burnt a little (I like a char on my steak but it was kind of tough at that point) and the tortillas were fine, not quite as soft as I might have preferred. My husband ordered the taco salad with chicken. He said it was good and ate the whole thing. Now the salsa, that was very good. Tasted just like homemade at my family's get-togethers. Everything was just a tad under seasoned for us. The food is basic Tex-Mex, which is nothing to sneeze at, still very tasty. This place makes up for it though in atmosphere. That might not factor in for some, but I loved the inside of the restaurant. It reminded me a little of the Mexico pavilion at Epcot in Disney World. So it made for an enjoyable dining experience overall.

The food is good standard TexMex fare. I really did enjoy the steak tacos which were so large I had to take 2 of 3 tacos home.

Naturally, I pulled up the Yelp app to search for something open nearby for recommendations. Turns out Delicia is one of my friend's boyfriend's favorite restaurant in Broad Ripple. They both frequent the restaurants in that area as they live in the neighborhood so that's definitely saying something and I can see why based on the vibe and atmosphere! We were only there for drinks (which were amazing) and they were definitely worth making another trip for. I ordered the "Pulparindo" which is slightly spicy tamarind vodka, fresh mango puree, raw sugar simple, lime juice and a yummy tajin rim. I would have had more of it wasn't last call when we placed our order. Another popular choice was the "FIRE 'N' Ice" made with el charro jalapeño infused reposado tequila, hibiscus I basil I habanero reduction, tres chiles infused ice ball. Beautiful presentation with all the drinks. Our waitress was great and attentive. I also really liked how I felt instantly in a better mood in that space and I will be going back again for dinner soon.

The service was quick and staff were friendly. We LOVED the queso and Johnny Cakes for appetizers. Everyone's meal was delicious and well portioned. If you're in town and looking for a more upscale experience with a Caribbean/Spanish cuisine then I would recommend this spot.

It was a cool-looking restaurant and felt like a cozy spot. My food came out looking amazing, and it tasted great. I got the Mac n Cheese Donuts and the Grilled Crispy Chicken Burrito. My issue was mainly with the service. From the time my friend and I were seated, it took 15 minutes for us to be greeted, and we had been sitting there for more than 20 minutes before we received our drinks and had a chance to order our food. This was during the early afternoon with very little foot traffic, so I personally don't see why there was such a delay in what could've been a smooth experience. I also asked for a to-go box but was never brought one, so I had to leave my leftovers behind in order to walk to work and make it there on time. I would try this place again, but maybe next time I would sit at the bar to make the interaction quicker and easier.

I'd describe the vibe as an elevated dive bar meets taco and tequila joint--casual and energetic, but the food and cocktails are definitely a step above typical bar food. We ordered the mezcal pineapple margarita pitcher, which was absolutely worth it. A single margarita was around $12, while the pitcher was $45, so it was a great value if you're sharing. The drinks were strong and they definitely didn't hide the mezcal--you could actually taste that smoky flavor. The Tajín rim was perfect with the pineapple. For tacos, we tried the short rib and Baja shrimp. The short rib was a solid 4.5/5--tender, flavorful and, most importantly, not dry. But the Baja shrimp was a 5/5 for us. The shrimp had a great texture and crunch, and both tacos felt like a good value for what you get. We also ordered the chips & guacamole. They give you a very generous amount of chips, and the guac tasted fresh and was nice and chunky. Service was one of the highlights. Our server--I believe her name was Addie or Ada--was fantastic: attentive, friendly and FAST. Another server/host even surprised us with two shots each on the house, which was such a fun and unexpected touch. My partner mentioned that Bakersfield is usually pretty busy, but we lucked out and were seated immediately. The whole place had a fun, welcoming and gay-friendly atmosphere, which fit perfectly with Mass Ave. We loved walking around the neighborhood afterward and checking out some of the cute shops. It was also within walking distance of our hotel, which made the margarita pitcher an even better decision. Great tacos + strong mezcal margaritas + awesome service + fun Mass Ave location. We'd definitely come back. And those photos are perfect for Yelp -- I'd use the taco photo as your first/cover photo because the colors really pop, then the mezcal pineapple margaritas second.

Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10. This is a great local business in the area to support: offers a diverse menu of options with food that is comforting and tasty.
