We are somewhat new to the area and are trying the various offerings of Conshohocken and the surrounding environs. El Limon definitely made the top of the list for "Go Back!". Fantastic mole sauce, yummy chorizo taco and delicious guacamole were the highlights of a great meal. Except for the guacamole the portions are awesome and the prices on everything can't be beat. If you get guacamole trust me and order extra. The serving size is on the small end of the spectrum, but that was my only gripe about El Limon and it was a minor one at that. read more

While the food here is very good, and reasonably priced, takeout from this establishment is horrific. This is our go to restaurant for a weekend take out, but now we are reconsidering it. this is the fourth or fifth week in a row that we have gotten home and our order has been wrong. Regularly they forget the salsa or the shells for fajitas, they add sour cream when you don't want it, they give you guacamole when you didn't order it and charge you for it. To say we are beyond frustrated is an understatement. They really need to get their act together when it comes to take out and making sure everything is in the bag. Likewise when you go back to get it fixed they offer no sort of compensation at all. read more

I could not oversell this place if I tried. Do yourself a favor and try El Limon out asap. Best thing on the menu are the Al Pastor tacos, and they're only $2.50 each. Definitely try one of their huge burritos as well. The Al Pastor and house mole are point at this place. Portions are also much larger than what the prices lead you to believe, except for the tacos which are normal size (I suggest you get 3 minimum). I normally don't post reviews but felt compelled to after the incredibly unacceptable dinner I was served. My husband and I were really looking forward to eating here after all the good things we had heard. We both ordered the chicken enchiladas and were BOTH unfortunately surprised to find several, and I mean SEVERAL bones in them. It was unbelievable, I have never seen anything like it, it was as if they literally stuck a whole piece of chicken, bones and all, into a food processor and then stuffed it into a corn tortilla. El Limon is one of my favorite finds in Conshohocken. We love Mexican food and it's perfect for that craving without the price tag of Coyote Crossing and offers up better taste. The menu is small but that is part of the charm. It serves up staple Mexican cuisine and the food is consistently good. We buy salsa prior to gatherings at our house because our family and friends really enjoy it. We do takeout a couple of times a month but enjoy the complimentary margs when we visit for a sit-down. If you want sit-down El Vez ambiance, it's not the place but it gets 5 stars from me as it's best in its class as a local favorite. read more
