We had dinner here for the first time and was a little nervous because of the older Yelp reviews. But With new owners we gave it a try. I was super satisfied with the amazing service and welcoming staff. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered a torts and it was hot, fresh and loaded! I'll definitely be returning and can't wait to try out more items on the menu.

    Camarones a la Plancha

Highly recommended! The service and wait times are always good- our favorites are camarones a la plancha with an horchata!! It's family friendly (Highchairs and seats available) and it's always clean! It's a good spot if you want guaranteed good food!

This place was so incredibly good! The minutes you taste the chips and warm salsa I knew it was going to be good! I got the Enchiladas Verde and (2) fajitas tacos in a flour tortilla! The enchiladas were so flavorful. The chicken was moist and the verde salsa was so tangy and spicy. However the Fajitas tacos were the best. The meat was seasoned so nicely and the flour tortillas were warm with soft texture! I should have just ordered (6) tacos with rice snd beans!

Your average mom and pop taco place . They have breakfast and lunch food. Very close to Dekaney high school and they prepare the food super fast . No extra bells and whistles just pretty good food. I do like how big there large cups are and how fresh their drinks are can't beat that!

    Quesadilla

The new owners are absolutely amazing. They have great customer service. My wife and I felt at home there. The food was just as good as their service. I had cheesy quesadilla with Al pastor meat and it was very good. My wife had a sope and a torta and she was very happy with both. Overall I give it 2 big thumbs up and I will definitely be going back soon.

Food was phenomenal! The tortilla chips were fresh, the Torta was crispy. The new owner and his son are very kind and genuine, I definitely recommend this spot! I also really enjoyed the Agua de Piña

    Breakfast Burritos

The food is really good and perfect. It dint take long to make. Me and my mom just wanted something little so we went here to look how it was. The service was really nice and patient! We were really patient while we were on our phones. Although the ambiance was also good but there wasent enough people today, but i do really reccomend it for a family dinner or family breakfast. 5 stars for the best!

The food is good, the champurrado (smallest cup) pricey $5. Not officer or military friendly with their prices (no discount)

Good tacos. The torta sandwich was not so hot. The bread wasn't great. Nice clean little spot with friendly people. Close to IAH.

Service was better than the flavor of the food. I would not come here again to try other dishes. Very bland.

We visited around 5:00 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of two without a reservation. The restaurant is huge, and despite being very busy, the service was efficient. We were seated in one of the back dining rooms and greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic--packed with World Cup fans, with what felt like everyone wearing a soccer jersey. As fellow futebol fans, we loved the energy. Being from California, we're fortunate to have access to some excellent Mexican food, so we were a little hesitant about trying Tex-Mex. I ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a passion fruit margarita. The chicken had a smoky flavor and a sauce that gave the dish a distinctly Texas-style twist. The flour tortillas were outstanding, and the refried beans and rice were just as enjoyable. The passion fruit margarita was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, this was a great dining experience and a place I'd recommend for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant appears well-equipped to accommodate large groups, making it a great option for gatherings. Next time, I'd love to return with a bigger group and take advantage of one of their margarita pitchers!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

We were simply told to "sit on the bench and wait" with no effort made to make us feel welcome or comfortable while waiting for our table. When making the reservation, we specifically requested either a quiet table or seating at the bar. Despite this, we were seated at a small table between two particularly noisy groups. On one side was a family with three young children playing a loud game involving frequent shouting and slapping on the table. There was intermittent drumming which the parents were oblivious to. On the other side was a large group facing us engaged in very loud ongoing conversation. The result was an atmosphere that made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Service was also inconsistent. Our server offered chips to accompany the Tiradito but she never brought them. Overall, the evening was disappointing. Between the unwelcoming reception from the dour hostess, noisy seating arrangement and lapses in service, the experience was far from enjoyable. Could not wait to leave.
