    Chimichanga!

This is hands down the best Mexican food in the area. Better than los sarapes. And this monster of a chimichangas is only 13$! It is byob and they make you margaritas if you bring tequila. They are so nice. And would highly recommend coming here! Also 14.50 unlimited custom tacos on tuesday. Come check it out!

    "Torta con chipotle"

Called in an order but when I brought it home it was wrong. Called back and they said that after I called, the chef let them know they could not make a torta but would put it all into a burrito. So, once they knew my order would be wrong they felt they did not need to call me back or let me know when I walked in. When I called about the order being wrong they did not offer to charge back the amount for the torta or even offer something else off the menu. Finally, I asked for chipotle on the torta but for some reason they still put pickled jalapeños on it....and instead of a chopped chipotle pepper it is some kind of chipotle hot sauce. Make sure to unwrap and check everything when you pick up orders here.

    The Bistec a la Mexicana

Not as authentic as I was excited for it to be. The Bistec a la Mexicana did not need that much sauce on top, it was too watery. As for the Tostadas with tinga, it was a let down. Maybe I'm not used to homemade crispy tortilla as the base since I always buy them and are perfect. It was supposed to be chicken with chipotle sauce but I tasted nothing of such. Simply watery chicken and a hint of chipotle. I like my tinga to be spicy and for the chipotle sauce to pop. The Gorditas with chorizo were too crunchy. Hopefully they improve in the future. I wish nothing but the best for this business since it has so much potential.

Fresh and authentic. Prices are better than Sarape in next town. Love it!

Very good food! We were in the area and looking for a good Mexican restaurant. There are a good…read moreamount of Mexican restaurants in the area but we came across this one in a strip mall. Before we entered the restaurant we were "distracted" by the vibrant ice cream store in the same strip. We walked in and were overwhelmed with all the ice cream options. Speaking to the owner, he said his family owns the EL Primo Plaza. We were on a mission for food, but will definitely visit the ice cream store in the future (our plan was after dinner, but dinner was so delicious and so filling, there was no room for dessert this time...better planning next time!). The restaurant is in a Mexican convenience store, but this is not your typical Mexican convenience store. They had so many options for everything. And they have this great bakery in the back before the restaurant. Everything looked SO good! In the back is a full sit down restaurant. We were seated and it is nicely decorated and has a view into the kitchen to watch them make the food. Our server promptly greeted us with some chips and what I think was a mole sauce. They were very tasty. We decided on a watermelon drink and shared mixed fajitas. The watermelon drink was fresh watermelon and it was very refreshing. The mixed fajitas came out piping hot, full of steak chicken and good sized shrimp. Sometimes at other places you get the baby cocktail shrimp, but these were a good size and nicely grilled and seasoned. You get a nice amount of sides to make your fajitas. There was so much food that we asked for extra shells at no additional cost! We thought we put a dent in the food, but we had so much still to take home. Everything was so fresh and seasoned well. The meat was nice and tender. There was a good amount of peppers and onions but it wasn't overpowered as sometimes also we have gotten fajitas elsewhere when there is mostly veggies and very little meat. We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left. Very good. We have added it to the list of places to return.

Good is authentic Mexican food, they give you plenty to eat, you will probably need a dog bag, they…read morealso have a store to buy Mexican products and bakery. Just go try it. Prices medium to high
