I've noticed this place when driving by and was curious to try it. I highly recommend it. I ordered a veggie pizza w/no olives. I liked that the crust wasn't soggy like other places when ordering a veggie pizza and the juices make crust soggy. OVER PRICED GARBAGE! First time here, I thought the pizza was ok. Then my second and third visit was worst! Paying 20 sometimes even 30+ for a pizza and having it served COLD. I'd been eating Dim Sum from Ocean Bo (just next door) for weeks. Today I just wasn't feeling it. As I walked past this pizza joint, I asked myself: "Why not have pizza today instead?" Boy, was I glad I took the plunge. At first, I thought I'd just order a pizza slice to see how it goes. Pedro (the owner) though understood almost immediately I was trying his place out for the first time. He recommended that I instead order a mini pizza for myself, which I agreed to because at that point, I too realized that he was asking, in his own way, permission to allow him to give it his best shot by making a brand new fresh pizza. "7 mins!", Pedro asked of me. "7 mins no problem", I replied. My pizza came out fresh, smelling real good. I got home and dug right in! Delicious! Pizza sauce definitely had great balance. Cheese was melty and stretchy just like you see in pizza commercials. Most surprisingly, the toppings were so generous! I picked up at least 5% off the floor after I ate because there was just so much. I'll be back, EMPC. Really glad to have another option instead of just Dim Sum! But the real reason I'm writing this review is because I realized something today. There are lots of small businesses who we always just walk past and never give a chance to; because why risk it, right? But today I stopped and gave one such small business a chance. And man, I got hard proof that there are still good hardworking people who can deliver a hit as hard as any big name company can. We just got to give them a chance. Our country can't just keep favoring big corporations. We need to balance out and support our local small businesses too in a healthy way! Pizza co has been my favorite since they first opened in hacienda Heights. I was sad when I moved to El Monte and there wasn't one close by. But I was so excited when they opened up the new locAtion! We order to go at least once a week and the food is always delicious and fresh! read more

Really disappointed in what I ordered. It took 1hr to get my order and when it arrived the medium looked like a small pizza and the small was the size of an individual pizza. For the amount I paid the pizza wasn't even that good. I will definitely be going somewhere else next time. read more

Local community should support local businesses but THIS business does NOT support the community. We supported El Monte/south El Monte AYSO by buying pizza co gift certificates. This location was accepting them and now they said they don't take them. The manager was rude and tried to change terms of gift certificates as the reason they were not accepting them. Many parents,teachers and family members in El Monte purchased these gift certificates during a time this business needed money and now they wont honor. Thought the consumer should know what this business is about. read more

This location I think is a new pizza spot in El Monte. Their pizza is great. I did a service call and had to work in their kitchen. The cleanliness is good. So after I was done I went ahead and ordered their biggest pizza for my 4 kids at home. Each one asked where I bought the pizza from. The bread is nice and soft. And the ingredients taste fresh. A large pizza two topping $23.00 ! That would be fine if the pizza was great and arrived hot! We tipped the driver $3.00 bucks since we live up the street, so basically we paid $26.00 dollars for a medium sized large pizza that was cold, and lacked sauce...we were disappointed but ate anyway because it was late. I recommend The Post over this place , which we'll do next time. I gave it a 3 star because in all fairness we hvnt tried the rest of their menu items, hopefully it's better than the pizza. read more

Much like the other locations this spot offers great quality at a price that's worth it. My call ahead order was ready for pickup in 15-20 minutes and the service was friendly and efficient. I was recommended this place by a family member and made it a point to order the next time I came to town. I'll do it again soon! Wish there were Pizza Co's in Orange County! read more

3.5. Pizza is good. A bit doughy. Needs to be cooked longer. The wings are not that good. Its as if they don't put any sauce on their wings. Dry. Wings need to be crispy and sauced up. Just my opinion. I do like the other locations (Baldwin park and Downey). read more

Pizza is good. I used always buy from monrovia pizza co. Because its unique taste. However since I live closer to el monte pizza I have been buying from them. But I do have to say its quite pathetic that they are not offering any specials like pizza/ wings when I called today not sure if it's a tactic to make more money off customers due to the holiday. But when I called monrovia location they offer the specials and its a lot cheaper for the amout of food I ordered compared to el monte location. And el monte location charges .75 cents plus tax each ranch and the cups are only filled half way. Even after you spend a butt load of money on food there.IT'S INSANE!!!! read more
