First of all, I love they have their own parking lot and good amount of seating. The churros come out piping hot and good with or without the dipping sauces.

My friends wanted to stop by here after we finish dinner nearby in Echo Park. One of our friends speaks highly of this place so we wanted to try their churros out. When we came, there was no line like there usually is. They have outdoor and indoor seating here. I got the four piece churros so we can each try one. They'll announce your name when your order is ready. I was lucky that they give me one extra churros because while trying to eat one of it and taking my picture, it broke and fell to the floor. The churros here I thought was decent, we tried another churro from a food truck nearby and you can tell the different in quality of the dough they use. Customer service was excellent here.

Help me understand why are the dipping sauces almost the price of the churros? lol one churro for about $3 something. A small container of dipping sauce for $2 each. Like Wahh??? Not a big deal to me since I do prefer the churro plain. Just strange to me lol guess they make money from the dips and not so much on the churros... The churro was on the thinner side. Way too much sugar/cinnamon. It was good, but way too sweet. Service was ok. I think they left their smile at home, but ok. Seating available Parking was pretty small

Love love El Moro! Not sure why this location is not getting great reviews but I can attest, the churros here are just as good as the ones at their other locations in Costa Mesa and in CDMX.

After seeing the crazy long lines and hearing so much about this El Moro, we had to check it out. A few months late, but I'm okay with that because I was not about to stand in a line for over an hour just for churros and hot chocolate. First, we were pleased with the super cute parking area that had really cute art. The place itself was empty when we arrived, so there were no lines, which was a relief. The inside was very clean and I loved the white and blue signage and simple design of the place. They also have outdoor seating available but it was way too hot to sit outside. We got two churros, an iced Frances and a hot Frances. Overall, we enjoyed the drinks and churros but I have to say that it felt like the churros were fried in day old oil because there was this oil smell you get when you use the same oil to fry for a while. That was a bit disappointing but, the churros were still delicious with a nice touch of cinnamon sugar. I really enjoyed my iced Frances though. It wasn't too sweet and it was refreshing! I'm glad we finally got to try this place but, I probably wouldn't come back here. Mainly because I'm not the biggest churro person, and that wasn't the best churro I've ever had!

Craving churros? This is your spot! I was extremely excited when I found out that there is a churreria El Moro here in Los Angeles. I visited their original location in Mexico City a few years ago and had the best churros and hot chocolate, so we are so fortunate to have one here in LA. We stopped by after a game late at night around 11pm, so the line was very short and we didn't have to wait too long. They have menus on two large TVs, however, I do recommend that they only show the menu. When we visited, the menu screen kept changing to other ads and pictures, and it was hard to keep track of the menu items because the screen would change every few seconds. We opted for 4 churros, which was plenty. Keep in mind that these churros are long, so honestly one or two per person is perfect, unless you want to indulge. We also accompanied our churros with a Mexican hot chocolate, which was divine! They offer other delicious goodies, so we will be back to try more. Parking can be tricky to find, especially when the place is busy during the day. Your best option will be street parking nearby.

I've been wanting to try El Moro for the longest time, and I'm so glad I finally did! The churros were fresh, perfectly crispy, and not overly greasy. They're simple but so good, especially dipped in the rich hot chocolate. The shop itself is cute and has a nice vibe, though it definitely gets busy. Thankfully, the service was quick and we didn't have to wait too long. If you're in the area and have a sweet tooth, it's definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and drinks!

Nothing beats a fresh churro! I love that they are made to order. I personally prefer the churro to be a little thicker so there's more chew in the middle vs mostly crispy, but it's still delicious.

The churros. Man, the churros. So freakin' good! This place is located off the busy Sunset street. Depending on when you get there, the line can stretch out the door and past their patio seating. Parking? Horrible. They have maybe 8 spots squeezed together in a small lot. You'll have to drive around to hopefully get a spot on the street. They are ADA compliant which was nice to see. You can place your order inside and watch as your churros are made. Pretty neat idea. The drinks, except for the hot chocolate, are overly sweet so I skipped on that. But the churros make you forget that you drove in circles for 10 minutes looking for parking. They really are that good. I promise.

It's really cool that you can come here, order some churros and watch them make it. Not only is it fun to watch them make it, they taste great too. There's a lot of cinnamon and sugar on these and they are just fried up perfectly. In addition to that, you can get sauces like condensed milk and a caramel to go with them. I thought these were some of the best churros I've had and felt they did a really good job with this place. The ambiance is really cool because you get to see all this art around the parking lot and inside the building, and it has a neat patio as well. The service is quick at the counter and I think this is a pretty good spot to get churros at.

We stopped by for during Father's Day before the Dodger game, and they weren't any parking attendants like what we experienced the first time we stopped by. We were lucky that we snagged the last spot. We walked in and the delicious churro smell was amazing. This time we ordered half of the blue Dodgers churros and the other half regular cinnamon sugar. Super fresh and crunchy, can't wait to be back.

Simple but really good! I've had this place in Mexico city and was super excited to see them build a location in LA. Menu is small, but I prefer that in this instance. The churros are vegan and made fresh when you order the. Aside from the classic churros you can also get churro bites and an ice cream sandwich version. You can also add various dips! They have drinks too but I stuck to water. We ordered a 12 pack of churros for $30ish dollars. And we also got chocolate and caramel dips. The churros were hot, light and crispy. I could have eaten soooooo many! The dips were good too, definitely added sweetness to it! Overall I would recommend trying them out! Stay Cheerful!

This was one of the places I kept hearing about and was excited to come here and try the churros. These exceeded my expectations. They were so good. Oftentimes you go to carnivals and the churros are so chewy that it's hard to enjoy them. The fact that they make them fresh there is evident in how they taste. It's light and airy with the perfect amount of cinnamon. My partner had the Rosquila while I had the Moritos. I could've devoured ten boxes, they were so good. These live up to the hype. No notes.

Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft.
