It's located within the GCM in DTLA. They only have two kinds of cinnamon rolls-Original and Special. Prices are shockingly expensive. But wouldn't hurt if you only indulge it once every hundred years. Lol. I like that they are hand made and on the spot. The young women staff were cordial, attentive and cute-probably my eyes just deceived me. Anyways, this bakery is a lovely addition to thy market. Very disappointing experience. I was excited to try this cinnamon stand because it claims everything is fresh, but my experience made me seriously question that. The owner was very late opening, and we had to wait around after arriving. Each time we asked, we were just told "soon," with no real explanation or courtesy. What made it worse was seeing someone bring the merchandise in from an unknown location in a plastic tote. That did not look clean, professional, or fresh to me at all. For a business that promotes fresh products, the presentation was extremely disappointing and made me uncomfortable purchasing anything. There was also no friendliness or customer service, especially after we took the time and spent money to get there. Overall, the late opening, lack of communication, poor attitude, and questionable handling of the products left a very bad impression. I would not recommend this place based on my visit read more

My youngest daughter and I were making our way up and down the aisles at Grand Central Market when a bright sign and a warm waft of cinnamon and sugar stopped us right away. I had never heard of Cinnies before, but the smell alone pulled us in. Cinnamon buns are my weakness, so this was an easy choice. The woman at the counter was incredibly kind and engaging. She struck up a conversation with my daughter about her bracelets and she was warm, friendly, and inviting. That kind of energy makes you want to support a place, so we grabbed a couple buns. We went with the OG and the limited flavor of the day, a blueberry lemon combo. The pricing is definitely on the higher side. Ten dollars for the OG and twelve for the limited flavor. But if you are already shopping at Grand Central Market, you are not there to worry about the budget. You are there for good food, good vibes, and fun finds. Cinnies fits right in. We took the buns home and tossed them in the air fryer at 400 degrees for three minutes. That was the move. The texture, the frosting, the cinnamon, the blueberry lemon swirl. Everything came together perfectly. Total tastebud explosion. We had some last night and the four of us finished the rest this morning for breakfast. Absolutely awesome. I bought two Cinnies for $25 during the summer Fridays collab. I didn't wince because one summer Friday lip butter was already $25. But if there wasn't a collab I'd probably question my decisions cause $25 for two cinnamon rolls is kinda cray. Until I took a bite and immediately i understood the craziness. I love an ooey gooey soft cinnamon roll and cinnies absolutely delivered. It's moist, heavy, soft, loaded on the cream cheese frosting. I was also so blown away by the lemon blueberry cinnie. The girl working at the front was super nice. She was probably slammed by all the summer Fridays folks but she still was a good sport about it all. I will be back with my big back LOL. Warning! Eat Cinnies at your own risk. One bite will ruin you for all other cinnamon rolls. I was only going to buy one cinnamon roll to try and was debating between $10 for the original and $12 for the blueberry lemon. (Yes, the prices did cause me pause.) However, when I saw the cinnamon rolls being lifted out of the tray and being placed into boxes, something in my brain overrode my frugal sensibilities and I knew I had to get them both. There was only one person at the counter, who would take several orders and then fulfill them all at one go. This was their second day of business in Grand Central Market and they were only selling two cinnamon rolls per person. On opening day, people were buying 10 at once and they had sold out way too fast. The rolls were warm and gooey. The dough incredibly soft, light and fluffy. The frosting was luscious. Best of all, the rolls were not too sweet. This is what love tastes like. I can see why Phil Rosenthal and Nancy Silverton chose to serve Cinnies at Max and Helen's. OG--the dough of the cinnamon roll was wonderful, the icing on the other hand likely couldn't have been worse. overly creamy and bland. no classic cream cheese tang. Lemon Blueberry--same sentiment re dough & icing, but the basil essence was far too strong--too herbal. It was not a melody of flavour but rather a battle, these flavours should harmonise but were rather competing with each other. Totally overhyped by social media. Gotta give them the credit for great social media marketing, they got me to come down and try. read more

Absolutely amazing! I saw this location was opening last week and I knew I had to try it. My partner and I got the blueberry lemon roll to enjoy over the course of the evening. The ladies working were as excited for us to try as we were! And I see why...Perfection. Honestly, no notes. The amount of frosting, the soft buttery bread, the temperature (they serve it off of a warming pan), the cinnamon goodness, all of it, EPIC. I usually take a few bites of a cinnamon roll and am over it...it's too sweet, it's too tough, it's bland, etc. I couldn't stop myself from taking bites as we drove to over to the Crypto arena, literally only a couple miles from Grand Central Market. I am leaving the one star for the Cinnabon itself, not the workers. I love Cinnabons, but boy was this overly sweet. I'm talking hurts your throat sweet. This is due to the whipped cream cheese frosting. I took out 3/4ths of the frosting as it was just too sweet. When you hit the middle, aka the best part, there is a very thick layer of sugary grain underneath the middle. I could not eat it simply because it was gross and added to the insane level of sweetness already present. I expected a nice warm middle and got a that + massive layer of grain underneath instead. The two improvements I would suggest to the owners are: 1. You can prepare the Cinnabons plane and have the lady at the front desk put on the whipped cream cheese. That way people can choose how much they want. 2. Please remove that sugary grain underneath the middle of the bun. It is seriously bad, like no joke bad. Hope this helps the owners improve!
