Meatloaf sandwich
Joyce T.

They were outside of Parliament Brewery and I was so glad they were! I got the meatloaf sandwich which was a thick loaf between soft and crusty buns. The nachos were a pulled meat variety with the wonderful red spicy chili peppers. Very generous and wonderfully put together. **Their berry pie crumble was awesome!! It was made with Parliaments blueberry beer! I like that this truck had a variety of food items and a special dessert! Friendly lady that works there, too!

Bean and cheese burrito
Scott B.

Loved the food here, bean and cheese burrito was perfection and carnitas tacos came through as a solid lunch add on. Carnitas had tons of flavor and the salsa or whatever they throw on it was the perfect amount of spice, not too spicy but just enough and really melded with the succulent meat. The bean and cheese was throughly mixed and had nice structural integrity. Carne asada taco wasn't my favorite as the meat was a little large for my liking, but the other stuff I had here was so good still giving it 5 stars.

Genuinely my favorite taqueria, their verde salsa is unmatched. Go show this mom and pop shop some love.

This used to be one of my favorites, but they charge for more than two salsas. A $15 burrito should come with as much salsa as you need

Great little family run restaurant. I really have zero issues with this place. Food is great. The owners are great. I will be back.

Ordered the carne Asada plate with corn tortillas for lunch. Everything was so delicious and reasonably priced.

Food is always amazing, albeit I've only ever had the breakfast burrito. My go to spot anytime I'm in Santa Rosa

Decided to give this spot a try while we were in the area and looking for light Mexican food…read more Dining was dimly lit, but fairly clean. The house speciality seems to be bowls - but they have tacos and burritos as well. Menu does not do a great job of describing what the bowls are like, but we decided to give those a shot. While we waited we enjoyed the salsa bar. They had a wide assortment of salsas and jalapeños, limes and other goodies. Salsas were fairly good. Bowl itself was like a burrito without a tortilla - just some crispy corn chip strips give it some flavor and texture. Cilantro rice and beans were tasty - but the carne asada was excellent! I like the addition of kernel corn for flavor and texture, although the "avocado" was a drizzle of green goo that wasn't exactly guacamole either. Overall not too bad, but not sure I would return here either.

The counter service was good. We had the street tacos and tried the el pastor, lengua, and birria. The el pastor was greasy, yet dry. The lengua and birria was some of the driest I've had in a long time. Given that the meats were uninteresting, the small sprinkling of onion and tired cilantro didn't save it. The only thing that made them edible were the sauces from the salsa bar. All of them quite good, so that's the silver lining. Oh yes, they serve the tacos with a small side of fried onions that were also very good. My search for Santa Rosa's best taco is still on.

Been here several times now, and the food has been absolutely bomb each time. Don't be intimidated…read moreby the prices - the portions are gigantic! It's a small and casual operation - there's a large seating area behind the restaurant with self serve water. Limited parking out front, and the back lot (with the seating) also has some space for parking, but it's not hard to find parking in the surrounding area. The food here is awesome - deep flavors and genuinely a ton of craft in their work (tamales and tortillas made fresh, you can see them making it through the window by the register). The food is pretty classic, but just executed so well - I really don't think you can go wrong. My personal favorites are the mole enchiladas / tamales (gently sweet, smoky mole, not overly chocolatey and really balanced, especially with a side of pickles) and the fish tacos (GIGANTIC).

El Molino Central in Sonoma was highly recommended to me, and now I understand why. The first time…read moreI tried it was when my girlfriend asked if I wanted to order tamales, and they were incredible. Since I knew we were going to be passing by, I had to stop in and try it for myself. I ordered a couple of tamales, one chicken mole and one pork. The pork tamale was delicious, and the chicken mole was so good too. I am not usually used to eating mole, but this one was rich, flavorful, and unique. You could really taste the depth in the sauce. I also tried the crispy shrimp tacos, and the shrimp were enormous. They were served on corn tortillas with shredded cabbage and definitely gave me Baja vibes. Overall, everything was delicious, fresh, and made with high quality ingredients. When we arrived, it was packed with a long line, which says a lot. I also loved that they have a grab and go fridge with lots of items to take home. I would definitely go back for more. Great food and friendly staff!
