We finally found our favorite local Tex-Mex restaurant! The owner Pedro and his staff are friendly, attentive (but not invasive) and the food is great! Everything we have eaten has been delicious and we are now weekly regulars. Wednesday night is enchilada special night - $5.99 and that comes with endless chips and great salsa as well as rice and beans. Our daughter and son in law found this place a few years ago and fell in love with the food and the owners. Introduced us to it and it quickly became one of our favorites. They are quick to refill the delicious light tortilla chips which of course is enjoyed with their yummy salsa. If you like spicy you HAVE TK ASK for the green sauce. It is a creamy spicy amazing thing both on chips and added to any food item. They have some of the best cheese and onion enchilada I have ever had. I mean you actually taste and get the crunch of the onion which for me is awesome! It is a great place with lots of room. We actually hosted our daughters rehearsal dinner and were able to offer a menu with a few selected items to help control the costs. Please don't leave this gem off of your must try list. Our FAVORITE Tex-Mex! Worth every weekly visit. The service is impeccable and the food is homemade and flavorful. The restaurant is large and allows for space in this COVID environment. Had late lunch here yesterday. Young woman who seated us was also our server. She was very personable and gave excellent service. She checked on us regularly without being obtrusive. Our food was delicious and my husband said his frozen margaritas were very good. The entire restaurant appeared spotless; all employees worked to clear tables and take care of business. The bartender came over and engaged in conversation after we had eaten. We learned it is a family business and were told about the entertainment available on various evenings. We hope this new Tex-Mex does well because we plan to return! Returned for dinner Friday night. Staff recognized and welcomed us. Service was prompt, friendly and excellent. DH and I ordered different entrees than we had on our initial visit. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Bet we'll be regulars! read more

Really great place in Plano for great Mexican food. We got the combo Beef and Shrimp Fajitas. Everything seasoned perfectly, food is fresh and hot. Shrimp tasted fresh and were a good size. OWNER, EMPLOYEES, and MANAGER are scamming, lying, thieves. Overpriced food, service is spotty, and not accommodating. Did not reseat us after putting us in the corner with broken lights. Ate by cell phone light. Left a generous tip anyway. Left the restaurant but returned in 10 mins when I realized I left my phone on the table. I asked our waitress if she had seen anything and she said no. I was then notified by my family my phone was turned off. I go home, get my apple watch, come back to the restaurant to ask a second time. (ALL EMPLOYESS, MANAGER, WAITRESSES, AND COOKS) chimed in to give their opinion on possible scenarios raised my suspicion more; however, I started to think maybe I was wrong. As I started to come to terms of another possibility, MY apple watch receives a notification! The ONLY way this can happen is if the phone is in the vicinity! I immediately explain to the staff that I clearly know they're not being forthcoming and were lying about the whereabouts of the phone. Not less than 30 seconds after my statement, a number (4-5) staff members suspiciously congregate with the cook as they peek over the kitchen counter. And then suddenly, my phone was turned back off again. POLICE WERE INVOLVED. They lied to the dispatcher about having my phone and on top of that, SAID I WAS VIOLENT! Now, in today's society we all know what the intentions are when someone falsely makes those statements. However, the PLANO POLICE DEPARTMENT WERE EXCELLENT IN THEIR INVESTIGATION! Made a report. After the police left, I stayed outside the front door speaking with friends for another 10-15 mins when I GET ANOTHER notification! The food is great and the service is excellent. But, we have been here a handful of times, usually for dinner during the week, and we are usually the only customers. Seems odd considering the food is so good. My assumption is that it's the ambience that is deterring people. It's a wide open room with high ceilings, and it's not very inviting. They could stand to do some serious updating. It doesn't feel like the cleanest place to take your family for dinner. But I'm sure they just need to dedicate some funds to the design.
