After moving to the neighborhood a few months ago, we decided to get takeout from this TexMex restaurant after reading the reviews. So glad we did! First of all, everyone working here is extremely welcoming and courteous. They make you feel at home and always have a smile.....very refreshing. Our family has enjoyed dining at El Noa Noa almost every Friday night starting before a COVID and even then we had takeout every Friday until in dining was allowed. It is great when kindness is shown. We have been eating at El Noa Noa for about three years now. Tonight they were having a big party and the owner set aside a table for us before we got there! Best Tex-Mex I've found in the area in literal decades since my previous favorite (El Chico) closed their doors many years ago. The food has a savory flavor that's hard to find nowadays. I've only been here once so far but intend to go back. The only con is that I picked up to-go and the rice was cold on both meals, but it is not enough to dock the rating. In their defense, I went on a Sunday before dinner hours and the restaurant was completely empty. All the other food was hot, fresh and delicious. Beef burrito dinner and crispy beef tacos were both excellent. It looks like a small hole-in-the-wall, but the restaurant is enormous on the inside. Good portions and prices. We've lived in the area for years and had never stopped to try this restaurant. Wow, we wish we'd discovered this family owned place sooner! It reminds me of the delicious Tex-Mex food from San Antonio. We both had the tacos al carbon and they were generously filled with very tender fajita meat. The house margarita was a good size for $8. I tried El Noa Noa for the first time today as a take out order. I ordered off the old menu (didn't know there is a new menu) and got a 3 enchilada plate (cheese, beef, and sour cream chicken). Based on reviews I had high hopes, but tempered them as I am usually disappointed with most restaurants cheese enchiladas. El Noa Noa blew me away! These are the best cheese enchiladas I have had in years, so flavorful! Moreover, I didn't even think I liked beef enchiladas and their's was delicious. The chicken sour cream enchilada was also as good as any I remember. The beans and rice were also quite good, but I have had better. Lastly, the chips and salsa were decent, but I personally prefer thinner chips. The most regrettable thing for me is I've lived right across the street, within walking distance to El Noa Noa for the past 2 years and this was my first visit. However, I will be back within a week or less to make up for lost time. Additional info: The staff was very friendly and accommodating, as demonstrated by their willingness to take orders off the old menu and make substitutions. The decor is okay, but nothing special in my opinion. Prices are fair and daily specials are a deal! Next time I will walk and try some dishes fresh from the kitchen with a margarita. This was my first time here, but I'll be back. El Noa Noa is located in a strip center at Park and 75. It's a really spacious restaurant with a nice bar. The food is really good. We had sour cream chicken enchiladas and beef fajita quesadillas. Both were delicious and the meat was nice and tender. And the service was excellent. We were seated quickly, and the drinks were brought right away. After ordering, our food was brought quickly, the drinks refilled promptly, and there was no wait for the final bill. We noticed this place when we were in the area of Park and 75 for a meeting and returned for lunch when we were done - and we were very glad we did. The tamales were not over loaded with masa, the guisada was the best I've had and the dishes were presented well with avocado slices placed with care. The chef clearly wanted the dishes to look as good as they tasted. They had very pleasant music during lunch but the band area made me think they have good live music in the evening. The guacamole was this best thing here but if you are not into onions maybe skip that. The Queso is blah and lacking body. Seems more soupy than Queso. We ordered combo fajitas (Beef and chicken)The meat was not flavorful at all. The flour tortillas I swear were the butter tortillas made at Kroger. Same for the corn tortillas as they seemed like the ones made in a factory and not local. I expected maybe something better than On the Border but it was not even up to those standards in quality in food. I really try not to do bad reviews, but I have to say this place deserves one. The food was ok, the drink ( I ordered a paloma) was ok, I ended up just ordering a beer afterwards to play it safe. They had karaoke the music I felt was a little too loud, but it's live music so really can't complain about that. What turned this possibly 3 star review was a huge roach that crawled up on my friend and our table. We up and left after that. If a roach is comfortable enough to crawl on someone, I don't want to imagine what might be in the kitchen. I really hope they look Into fixing that because crawling bugs is a HUGE NO for me. read more

The chips were fresh and hot and the salsa had a slight kick to it which I appreciated. My table all ordered the fajita lunch combo which comes with beef and chicken. Pretty cool place! There is a stage & bar. We are a late Sunday lunch so we did not get to see the entertainment but hope to in the future!
