You can tell someone really put thought into it. Nick mentioned the owner actually goes to Thailand often and brings stuff back for the restaurant, which makes sense once you see the space. The beer selection is pretty solid with an option for Pliny on draft which I appreciated. Food-wise the menu is pretty compact, which I appreciate as that means less decision paralysis. However, the food itself was just ok-- I tried the tacos and shrimp sandwich and both were pretty mediocre if I'm being honest. However, the fried pickles/jalapenos and fries were very solid! I'd come back for drinks and light bites, but save your dinner for elsewhere. 5/5 for the bar experience, 3/5 for the food, but since this is a bar we'll keep it 5 stars overall.
