Service was a little slow as we waited at the door for a hot minute before anyone seated us but everything was so on point! Mangonada was perfect to satisfy my craving. Strawberry jalapeño drink was good too! I had the Bistec a lo pobre (steak, yucca fries, rice, and beans) beans were so good and I don't even like beans! Portions here are generous and the menu is generous as well. Platanos app hit the spot, I always love some sweet plantains my friend ordered Nachoes app and they were generous with all the toppings. Complimentary chips come with 2 sauces and one of the sauces was actually spicy which I liked. Start by saying DAMN We drove from near the casinos in CT to try this place for my birthday. That said we travel all over New England to just try restaurants. Eileen was our waitress, her personality was super soft and helpful. She encouraged my wife, white girl, to pronounce the words to the foods she was ordering. The chips and salsa came out to start. The chips are fresh made not commercially produced. The chips had a hint of flavor I couldn't quite place. The salsa wasn't thick like store bought, it actually had very little "chunks" it it besides some onion and parsley flakes. The flavor of the salsa was perfect, no fake heat, or over powering flavors like, it complemented the chips perfectly. We ordered the birria tacos and the taco combo. They came out unbelievable. We have had tacos in NYC and these were tied for the most authentic I've had. Great experience over all and we will be back. read more

Tiny little spot located in a tinier plaza with little parking but so worth the trip. There are about 6 booths and there were many folks coming in for takeout. One server was tending to tables, calls and pickups. She was great but we did need to wait for our check and to grab her attention: The food was insanely good though. We came here for the birria and we were not disappointed. We also got some chicken nachos and they were fantastic as was my flan that I took home. The accompanying hot sauces for the birria were insanely good but due to sever pregnancy heartburn, I didn't get to enjoy them as much as I wanted to. Come, get the birria. Went for drinks and dinner on Saturday June 15. Wasn't greeted, asked for a table and was seated and waited 15 minutes and no one came to the table. Got up and decided to go directly to the bar. The bar tender didn't understand how to make a margarita and a mojito so she had to get someone else to take our order. Then we waited for another 20 minutes and still no drinks. We said we were leaving and to cancel our drink order and the rude waitress ( that came out of nowhere ) said " just leave ". Not sure what was going on here but I won't be back . Came to try this place after a friend posted some food pics on Facebook. I had the steak tacos and she had the loaded shrimp tacos. We split the chicken nachos. The nachos were my favorite. Loaded up nice. The tacos were good, but not anything out of this world. Gotten tacos just as good at California Taco. We split the Birria taco to try since it seems to be very popular. The food is simple but delicious. Birria and Consome were as advertised and the sides really delivered. Would come back just to try the seemingly endless variations of Birria alone. Their hour made hot sauce was pretty good too. They seem to be upgrading and making some changes to offerings/layout including a draft beer system which only layers onto the greatness of the food. Only knock is it was extremely cold inside and drink offerings were limited to canned soda. I think the upgrades will bring an end to that list though! read more

Honestly, I don't know how I have never been here before. This place is a literal gem. The tacos were amazing. I ordered the steak tacos with cilantro and onions. They were soft corn tortillas with a little bit of a crisp. I mean, it was basically made to perfection. We also ordered the steak nachos *chefs kiss.* The flavors were amazing. My friend ordered the chicken taquitos which I tasted so I can absolutely confirm they were as good as the other dishes. I honestly can't eat other tacos from anywhere else anymore. Birria taco was to die for. It was so delicious I regret only getting 1. Tried a pollo classic taco. Good but I should have gotten it w pico de gallo.
