Their new double fit bowl are so good. I got the street corn one and it was delicious. The chili they add on add was such a good topping, it balanced the salad very well. So I drive up to the window and saw people in there and had to honk to get his attention he apologized and said his headphones battery was out. If you would have seen the looks on these people faces behind the counter. I was very disgusted. The only thing that he was - was African American. I will never patronize this establishment again. I really love eating here. Chicken is always juicy and delicious. Never a disappointment. There tostada salads are perfect. But having to order thru a delivery app. Is kinda hard to keep the tostada shell crispy. This is one of the most poorly run businesses in Visalia. From the beginning when they opened and ran out of chicken multiple times they haven't figured out how to run this operation. We like to go there because I have Celiac. Most fast food is full of gluten. Tonight was the icing on the cake. My wife waited 30 minutes in line and then nobody came on the speaker to take her order. Finally after she kept calling for them they said they were closed. No notice. No one came out to stop the line. The website says it's open. Nothing. I like the chicken. This is the final straw. We won't be going there again. I can do without the horrible service in our lives. We went here for the last time. I got home after ordering a family combo and my wife found a baby cockroach in the rice it was alive and running on top of then inside the rice. I called they said I can bring it back. 2 women met me at the counter one started processing my refund the other opened the rice and not seeing the roach immediately began telling me there was no roach. I was pretty mad at this point having drove across town to bring this back and being accused of lying. I wanted nothing more than my money back so I can go eat somewhere clean. I cannot believe how bad this food has gotten. We have been to this chain a few times and it was really never more than mediocre but this past week I have to say it was really bad... everything was beyond bland. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The rice and beans also had no flavor. How did you manage to make everything so bad? Do you even marinate the chicken or use any spices at all? Because it didn't taste like it. The taco salad was mostly tortilla shell and lettuce. It had bone dry chicken, very little rice and beans and a speck of cheese. The chicken tacos weren't any better and were bland as well. Lime wedges would've been a nice touch. Was that even cilantro in them or was that parsley? Not only that, we ordered in but had to go back to the counter on three separate occasions to ask for salsa, utensils AND napkins which were all kept behind the counter! Were we expected to eat a taco salad with our hands? C'mon, guys! Flavor it up and make sure your customers have everything they need to have an enjoyable meal. We pay good money to eat out these days. We definitely won't be going back anytime soon... taco trucks are way better and cost a lot less! Today I switched it up and ordered in person sweetest girl nice customer service but again I did not get my full order. On top of that I didn't get my receipt. After coming here a few times and dinning inside I have to say I really enjoy eating at this Pollo Loco. The service is very friendly, the tables are usually clean and they have all you can drink Horchata, which is Awesome because I love it. The salsa bar is pretty good. My only suggestion is may be get a few more salsas in there. The more the better. The chicken itself is usually cooked to perfection, even tho I've gotten it too burned or extra crispy at times when I went drive-thru. That sucked! I then ordered it Juicy and it came out a little under cooked. Please check on it more often and don't give customers burned or under-cooked chicken. The condiments were everywhere; like someone just tossed everything up. The store was filthy with trash on the floor. An employee was cleaning the grill while chicken was cooking right next to him. I've been eating lunch in this restaurant since its opening being close to work and I like their food so much. However, recently, their service isn't as good anymore. Just yesterday, I ordered for delivery through Grubhub and my order came incomplete. The chips came without the salsa and the drink that comes with the meal was missing. This was not the first time this happened. I've ordered a few deliveries before and it was either items were missing or wrong items were delivered.
