I have eaten here a few years ago and decided to try them again. I ordered through Post Mates. I ordered a two taco combo. One was carne asada and the other was carnitas. The carne asada was tough and didn't have much flavor but the carnitas was much worse. I'd say the lion share of the filling was FAT! I had to pull off what little pork there was in the tortillas to be able to eat it. The rice and charro beans were great. Even though I was not hungry after trying the Fat carnitas, I decided to take a look at the carnitas torta. Surprise surprise! It wasn't carnitas. I tasted the meat was dry and I wasn't sure what the meat was. Bad! Bottom line if it wasn't for the rice and beans in the combo, I would have had to make some soup. What a total waste of $28.00!!! Coincidentally, my other favorite Mexican restaurant was called "El Norteno Tacos", but they have since changed their name. This one matches their deliciousness, and the food is served with a smile to boot (the other place isn't so friendly). I ordered my standard--tacos lengua con arroz y frijoles. It was yummy! Their horchata was a bit too sweet, but it's quite flavorful (instead of the watered down version in many other establishments). I won't be a regular here, but only because it's too far from home and work. Nevertheless, if I am ever in the neighborhood, I'll be sure to stop by. read more

I got the lunch special that came with two pieces of chicken and macaroni salad and a drink I think. It's a good deal and the chicken was flavorful, however when you open up the chicken the parts close to the bone were still not cooked so it was red from blood. I chose not to say anything and I just finished everything else but that's a big thing for my family and I when chicken is not cooked enough or properly so I don't think I would return. read more

The food here is fire. We used to order for our team at Nationstar/Mr.Cooper and food was always great. I move to Las Vegas and was in town and nearby so I had to pop in. Almost got robbed while leaving this place. Someone pulled a knife on me. I ran into my car and locked the door and the person hanging out in front of the place proceeded to punch and put dents all over my car with their fist. When I went back the next day they acted like they didn't care and at first said they didn't remember. The manager eventually said that she remembered and said that he was a resident onlooker that just had a few screws loose. My car would be perfectly fine and wouldn't have gone through this if I did not eat at this establishment. It leads me to believe that this is a common occurrence at this place because they didn't remember this scene the day before which for me was traumatizing. They didn't express concern or even acknowledge what I was saying. That was a month ago. I came back and waited at the counter for 10 minutes. When I tried to order the special they have until 2 they wouldn't let me order it because it was 2:05. There was nobody in there and they made me wait and then told me it was 5 minutes too late to order what would have been 5 dollars cheaper when I initially walked up to the counter. I always leave a tip when I go here and have been going here for a while but they are always very cold. At first I just thought it was a kooky thing that I overlooked and just chalked it up to them being tired from working or that they were hot in there without a/c.
