Food was excellent and substitutes were allowed. For people like myself with a gluten allergy you could ask for corn tortillas instead of flour. The service was great and attentive without being overbearing. Would highly recommend for people with a desire for authentic Mexican food.

Chicken, shrimp, beef, and sausage on top of onions, peppers, and cheese. In a huge bowl (forgot the name of the dish exactly).

We were driving by while traveling and stopped for dinner. This place will NOT disappoint! The food and the service were amazing! This is officially our favorite go to place while traveling!

Super nice! Super good food! Super fast on order for take out tonight. I think this is my new favorite place! They have their liquor license now too. So bottled beer and margaritas. They said the Rita's can be ordered to go as well. LOVE it!!!

Tasty little spot that was once the House of Pizza. Very surprised how good it was, they have a very solid menu, great service with a quick turnaround after making our order.

There was a ton of hype about this place. The food was decent, the customer service was excellent... but it's lacking in ambiance and that traditional "Mexican reataurant" vibe. I understand it's newly opened but they could have at least replaced the previous restaurants Italian pictures that were hung in the wall. It's less of a fancy restaurant vibe and more of a lunch spot, there are no booths only tables. I liked that the owner was there talking to patrons.

Stale taco shells !! Food very average . Daughter ordered tacos and could barely eat them because shells were stale.

Great food. You won't be disappointed. I am originally from San Antonio, this is the best local Mexican restaurant that I've found.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and lively -- the kind of environment that immediately puts you in the mood for a great meal. We started with the queso dip, which was nothing short of phenomenal -- rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. It paired wonderfully with their fresh, crispy tortilla chips. The house margarita was another highlight; it had a perfect balance of flavor and strength, easily one of the best I've had in quite some time. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken quesadilla and added shrimp, and I have absolutely no complaints. The quesadilla was perfectly cooked -- golden on the outside, loaded with tender chicken, juicy shrimp, and melted cheese on the inside. The portion sizes were generous, leaving me more than satisfied by the end of the meal. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring everything came out quickly and exactly as ordered. Overall, Don Eladio's Cantina is a must-visit spot for anyone in or passing through the King George area who's craving high-quality, authentic Mexican cuisine. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others looking for great food, drinks, and service.

So knowing the quality of the food and the expectation I found myself in the King George area and knew there was a El charro somewhere and decided to grab lunch and see if it was up to standards as the other locations. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall just off of Route 3 in King George and if you blink you can easily miss it. The restaurant was clean and well lit. They weren't to busy and I was seated fairly quickly and given a menu. A few minutes later the waitress came over with the chips, salsa, and ranch style dip they give to the customers and asked if I would like something to drink and if I was ready to order. I ordered a Tall Blue Moon, Cheese Dip, and Enchiladas Supremas. The Enchiladas Supremas consists of 4 Enchiladas of one Chicken, Beef, bean, and cheese topped with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. It arrived and looked fantastic and was what I was expecting as I dug in to them and boy did that change quick with each bite. The meal not up to the standards I have come to expect and know of El Charro and was disappointed. The enchiladas were bland and lacked any flavor, it was like someone forgot to season the food. Another problem was with the beer. I am not sure how a nice frosted mug of ice cold beer could be terrible but this location managed to make it terrible. I am not sure if the lines need to be cleaned or the beer was bad but if you have ever drank a Blue Moon you know there is some orange citrus flavor to it, this brew tasted as though it was washed in chemicals and then served. The location needs to look in to why the beer tastes weird or get fresh beer. The only thing consistent with this meal as the other locations was the cheese dip, that was on par and great with the chips. I hate to say I would never dine back at this location again it I would be willing to try it again but with maybe other food choice.

From the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted, seated quickly, and treated with such kindness. The service was attentive from start to finish and our order was taken promptly without ever feeling rushed. The food was absolutely incredible. We ordered the chorizo cheese dip, birria tacos, and the al pastor street tacos, and honestly... this was one of the best Mexican meals I've ever had in my life. Every single thing was packed with flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. The birria tacos were rich and perfectly crispy, and the al pastor was unreal. This place alone was worth the drive. If you're anywhere near Port Royal, this is a MUST visit. We'll absolutely be stopping here again.

We were seated right away and then the place filled up. The chips and salsa were good. Chips warm and salsa was mild. I prefer more spice but for the GP this works. If you ask they do have two more salsa, one green and the other Red is which I wish I had when I was eating my Taco salad. The Taco salad was mild they say you can request for it to be spicy which I will do next time. If you are passing through the area and want some mexican give them a try. If you like your mexican food with a little heat, ask before you order, I think everything is cooked mild.
