We love this place. My husband is Argentino so good facturas are important staple in our lives. It is hard to find a place that has good real facturas that is not far away or ridiculously priced and that has variation of options as well. Their facturas with dulce de leche are so good. After reading the negative reviews on this place, I've learned this place already has a HUGE reputation for very bad customer service and rude employees here. When I came here for the first time, first impressions definitely matter and the skinny Argentina lady working the counter wearing glasses continued talking to me in English ...when I'd speak to her in Spanish to try to connect with her and make it more convenient for her knowing her first language is Spanish. I felt like eating Cuban pastelitos, and the food here was very weird and different than what I'm used to. I ordered 2 round pastelitos that had Beige and Red "candy" in the middle of it as I was told by this employee lady with the glasses. The manager didn't ...wanna give me her name to protect her from being exposed. These unusual pastelitos were only $1.25 each, so I decided to give it a try. Then I wanted a tostada, but the bread for it was a hoagie kaiser roll type of bread that came in a bag full of them by the front window. I decided to just decline everything especially because a lady customer approached the employee lady with the glasses ...who was attending me, and began complaining about the coffee being watered down. Then omw out of the bakery, the employee lady with the glasses said bye to me in English treating me like an American who ...was there on vacation from another state because my Golden Spanish obviously intimidated her. I read ALOT of the bad reviews and this employee lady's sarcasm with the entire language barrier thing PROVES that customer service is terrible here. I'm more than glad I did not eat anything from this place, either as everything just looked disgusting. Pay attention to their bad reviews!! Very bad customer service. My girlfriend and I walked in with no greeting, and stood around for 5 minutes with multiple employees unacknowledging both of us. We finally were able to get a menu. We sit down to order ..another 15 minutes go by with no one acknowledging us. We got up and left. Outstanding in everyway. Clean, cheerful,polite staff and above all a grand variety of mouth watering products. Try the empanada with raisins . It isis simply delicious. Great authentic place! Not only is this place super authentic.. it is also super reasonably priced! I have been here a few times, mostly I get the ricotta cake for party and it is the best one I have had in Miami and only $12! The last few times I have ventured out from just cake and bought a few snack items. The empanadas are fire - top 3 in all of Miami IMO. They are stuffed, warm, authentic, delicious, and affordable. This last time I had the Choripan (chorizo sandwich) and it's become my favorite thing about this place now. I was honestly expecting a small chorizo on bread since it was only $5 but it actually was a lot of food. The sandwich came with lettuce, tomato, on toasty french baguette and a side of delicious chimichurri sauce plus a mountain of fries. I had help and we still didn't finish it. Try this place out if you're looking for great and affordable Argentinean food. My recommendation is the choripan if you're eating in. Just be aware that the location is very small and there's only 2 tables with very uncomfortable seating, this is more a place where you pick up to go. read more

I can walk over there in the morning and get the most delicious and fresh pastries. The cakes look absolutely amazing and I can't wait for my next celebration just so that I can try one. Its a bodega bakery and coffee shop. Service is contingent to how many people are working. If you're in a hurry or just a pastry and coffee be ready to do two lines. Cashier in the kitchen helping. Bakery... you must stop! I haven't met many bakeries I didn't like and this was no different. The shop is small with a couple of tables. If it were busy, it felt like the table could be in the way. As I approach the case, it is full of many delicious looking choices. I wasn't quite sure what everything was but I wanted to try... many. I continued to look and in the next case the baked goods turned to more meal looking food... this "gringo" couldn't read all of the signs to be absolutely sure what I was seeing. As I kept moving, I saw some familiar packaged treats (candies) brought to me by a family member on their travels home to Argentina. Horrible service .. Ordered la parillada and Milanese de pollo and they never gave us the sweetbreads that we're included and waitress never mentioned it . When my mom asked where why it was missing the lady had a blank face and didn't even apologize turns around and went to the kitchen .. When she returned she was like " well we are out" don't you think you should notify the customer and give an alternative . The Milanese de pollo was raw in the middle and of course no apologies. And i was feeding it to my son ! No sense of service all waitress where straight to the point and no smiles ..when a question was asked they had to force an answer. This is my first Yelp review, and as I like to keep things positive, I am reviewing one of my new favorite places! I discovered El Rinconcito Argentino on a recent trip to the nearby CVS, and upon walking in, everything was very warm and inviting. It's a small space, and a little chaotic, but it has an old-fashioned, neighborly feel to it. The bakery cases and coolers are nicely arranged and I immediately wanted one of everything! I am not very familiar with Argentinian food, but the young woman behind the counter was very polite and patient, answering all of my questions. On my second visit, I brought my mother along, and we got an assortment of sweet pastries and a couple of empanadas (all very reasonably priced!). Everything tasted so fresh and delicious, and I think the chicken empanadas will be my new go-to lunch when I am running errands in the neighborhood! I've lived in North Miami Beach most of my life, and for better or worse, I've seen a lot of little places come and go. Businesses offering this level of quality in product and atmosphere are a huge asset to our neighborhood, so I hope to be a regular at El Rinconcito for a long time to come, and I hope lots of others in our community give them a try! read more
