That said... the bathroom needs immediate attention. It was rough, definitely had me a little worried, and I said a very serious prayer over my food before eating. Thankfully the food was GREAT and I didn't get sick, which is why I'm still giving a good review. But whoever is managing the place, please clean up the restroom situation. There was just nothing special about anything at this place and even their only hot sauce that can be added for some heat to the meal is a watered down green tomatillo mild sauce or a red pepper mild sauce which both are served in a cold squirt bottle unless you pay almost $2 for a small roasted jalapeño. The shell to the carne asada sope was crunchy and homemade, flavorfully topped with a medley of freshness -- pico de gallo, lettuce, salsa, and avocado. The last time we also had service issues. We were a large party (10) and the food came out so that half the table was almost done eating by the time the other half got their food. I miss the old Pio Pio. This is just a lackluster restaurant and there are better options for Mexican food in Boynton Beach. We will not be back.
