Not gonna lie this is the best taco I've had in WA! Most of the time I found the steak in tacos was kinda plain. Like, I could taste that it had been grilled, but there wasn't enough salt to my liking. And this one was perfect the ground beef was perfectly seasoned. As a Chinese person I'll put it this way, I could eat a bowl of freshly cooked rice with this ground beef! It was that tasty! And if you squeeze some lime juice on it, the flavor is even better. Although it was a beef taco, it wasn't heavy or greasy at all. My partner had a burrito and he liked it. I'm not a burrito person because I don't like the combo of beans and rice. I had a bite of it and I could taste a teeny tiny sweetness in it. Really good flavor too. And the two staff members were very friendly as well! If you're visiting Lopez Island and see that they're open, I recommend grabbing something from them and enjoying a quick tasty meal at Lopez village park! read more

I had the vegetariano tacos..they were so delicious! Super nice people! There were a long line both days that I went, but it went fast. Forgot to take pictures of my tacos. My friends got to see them, and they went back the next day to get tacos! We found a nearby picnic table to eat on a beautiful day! read more

Vegans, come here. I just had one of the best burritos I've ever had here and my omnivore partner just had one of the best burritos he's ever had. Mine was so flavorful with fresh local ingredients like roasted poblanos, perfectly spiced black beans, even touches like celery I never would have thought of that were delicious. $14 to feed me for many hours of activity. Very pleasant outdoor tables in the park where the truck is. Good view. Good service. I'll come here anytime I'm visiting the island. read more

This place is amazing. They have the best tacos ever! My favorite is the veggie taco with the side of their creama and guacamole sauces. Mouthwateringly good! All of their tacos are delicious and the burritos are divine. Oh, and they are super friendly with great service. The only downer is that they close down during the winter. This truck is a hidden gem on the island, the fresh amalgam of ingredients was amazingly delicious! My mind was blown by such a fabulous combination, the pepper in the side was an awesome add on. Would strongly recommend anyone visiting the island to stop by the truck, it's a must visit! It's right near the village.. the staff was amazingly polite, they were preparing food with gloves and masks; so extremely well sanitized with your health in mind. The taco truck is a great addition to downtown Lopez. Everything is home made on the spot, very authentic, and always fresh. I was a bit skeptical at first but once you have the carnitas you'll have to keep coming back! I would definitely give this place a try if they're open when you are visiting. read more

1.5 stars. A pretty big let down. I got a burrito. It's half the size of a chipotle burrito and double the cost ($12). I understand it's more expensive on the island but they should try to care a little bit. The salsa and tortilla was good and that's it. The rice was so hard it was like it wasn't even cooked. And they only put the salsa on the last two bites of the burrito. I also ordered some tacos, all with the homemade tortilla (which costs an extra dollar), and they forgot The homemade tortilla on one of the tacos. And WE FOUND HAIR IN TWO OF THE TACOS! One taco is kind of understandable but two? Really? This was a huge let down. I'm better off just making my own Mexican food in my home. But if you really feel the need to go here then stick to the tacos, because at least that price isn't terrible ($3 for a taco plus $1 for the homemade tortilla). Let's just hope you don't find a hair in it. read more

For a taco truck it is a bit pricey. That being said it's worth every sent. High quality ingredients, amazing flavor and fun and friendly staff. Whether you live on Lopez or you are visiting it is a must have stop for lunch. I have eaten at taco trucks all across America and I have to say that El Taco 'Bout It easily ranks in the top 5.
