To start they took at least 10-15 min to actually acknowledge us and let us know that they are really busy... we understand it's cinco de mayo but at least acknowledge us and tell us, don't leave us hanging!! When it came time to finally order our food they gave us the unfortunate news that they were out of carnitas tacos (which was the special and the reason we even went) so we ordered Al pastor tacos and carne asada fries. Now, the food.... Absolutely delicious and phenomenal as always! Definitely authentic and explosive flavors with each bite! But before we can even eat we realized they forgot to bring us the cilantro/onion side toppings so we had to remind them and wait another 5-10 min while our food was just getting cold to get the servers attention. The carne asada fries was something we tried for the first time today and I can't recommend it enough. Please order this when you come they were so goooood!! We also ordered the classic margaritas which were on the happy hour menu.... However the margaritas had 0 alcohol and was just straight up lime juice! Pretty disappointed in the drinks.... Last time we came we had a much better experience, I guess we can't come when they have busy days! Maybe we'll give it another chance maybe not, there's plenty of fantastic Mexican spots here in homestead and tonight was not a good look for Tacazo.

The chips and guacamole were delicious and there were plenty of extra hot sauce. Sauces to accompany them. The three plate taco meal was delicious. All three tacos were flavorful. The beers were cold and hit the spot.

The place was busy, with a steady flow of people coming and going, which is usually a good sign. Once inside, we were greeted right away and the service was incredibly friendly and fast throughout our visit. The atmosphere had the familiar feel of a traditional Mexican restaurant, but with a genuine family owned, mom & pop charm that made it feel welcoming and authentic. I ordered the Mexican steak with jalapeños, while my fiancée went with the flautas. Both dishes were excellent and fresh, flavorful, and well seasoned without being overdone. The steak was cooked just right and had plenty of flavor. My fiancée especially loved the yellow rice and kept talking about it long after we left. Overall, this was one of those unexpected finds that turns into a place you'll want to come back to. Great food, friendly people, and a welcoming atmosphere. It would be worth the hour drive back here from fort lauderdale. We'll definitely be returning.

This was his favorite place and he'd go there for years and you remembered him. The food here is amazing. The service is pristine and the ambiance is so authentic just like their food and drinks. Love the quesadillas and tacos. It's definitely our go to. I'm recovering from ACL and meniscus surgery and can hardly sit comfortably but Lupita and staff went out of their way to help me feel comfortable! I'll be back soon.

There's the typical ingredients that are usually used in regular cooking, but also unique finds. Great place for anyone looking for out of the box produce and discover new amazing flavors. The second reason is the arepas!!! Soft, warm, ooey and gooey! Well-made and utterly delicious. As far as parking, it can get a little tricky around noon. But after 2, it's far less stressful to find parking and walk without bumping into so many folks.

There are tons of vendors, plenty of produce, food trucks, fresh juices, games and rides for kids, lots of parking, and enough things to see that you can easily spend a few hours just wandering around. My favorite part, and honestly the main reason I keep coming back, is La Fontana Verde. If you love herbs, teas, tinctures, and natural wellness, do yourself a favor and stop in. The owners are incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. My family and I always end up asking a million questions, and they never make us feel rushed. They genuinely care and are always willing to share their knowledge. It's become our go-to herb shop. The produce selection at the market is huge, and it's actually kind of fun comparing prices between vendors. My only wish is that there were more certified organic fruits and vegetables available. If organic produce is your top priority, that may be a downside. But if you're looking for seasonal fruits, including seeded watermelons (yes, fruit is supposed to have seeds!), you'll find plenty of options. Another bonus is that parts of the market are covered, so even if Florida decides to randomly rain on your plans, you can still enjoy walking around. Overall, Redland Market Village is a South Florida staple. Come for the produce, stay for the Seeded fruit, and definitely don't leave without stopping by La Fontana Verde.

The waitress told us to sit wherever we wanted to. She brought us a basket of chips and salsa. I ordered the Trio Trepa. I wanted it with shrimp, but the waitress said they can't do shrimp for it. So I did it with chicken instead. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders and French fries. My plate was huge! It turned into three or four meals! My daughter ate all of her chicken tenders except some of the breading. They were a little overly breaded. I like the condiment bar. But only one person can serve themselves at a time there and there was a guy up there when I got my food and I wanted to go up and add some toppings to my plate. He was filling up about 8 little cups and just looking around. After waiting a few minutes I asked him if he was done since he was just looking. He said he wasn't, but He let me in to grab my stuff. By the time we left around 2pm the restaurant there weren't any open tables. The waitress was nice. I would return.

I had the flautas de res, and my husband had the enchiladas de pollo. Both were very good! I think I liked the enchiladas best. And the refried beans were my favorite part of the meal. The one complaint is that the service got pretty slow once the business of the restaurant picked up. It took a while to get waters and the check, but other than that, Taqueria Morelia was awesome!
