Really delicious tacos!!! This place came highly recommended and for good reason. I ordered the 6 fiesta taco plate. This my favorite store of taco - small street tacos with just meat, cilantro and onion and hot sauce. Tripas meat was spectacular: Crispy, chewy, fatty and perfection! I also ordered a ln egg and potato taco and an egg and bacon taco - both excellent! I would definitely come back! Also the service was friendly and the restaurant is clean and well lit.

Such an amazing spot! The atmosphere here is wonderfully cozy and welcoming, the outside seating has such a great vibe. And that's not even the best part! The food is definitely one of the best tacos I've had in austin and the drinks are large and delicious!it came out so fast and the service was amazing. My only regret was not coming here sooner, I live down the street and definitely plan to be back!

What do you do after you walk 10 miles? Eat. My friend who grew up here in austin recommended El Taquito (and tbh we were in between this and another food truck). I'm so glad we came here. The atmosphere was quaint, had a salsa bar, a decent amount of seating and their own parking lot (woo!) We shared the queso fundido with chorizo, tostadas, 6 taquito special (bistec) & a pastor taco The pastor taco stood out the most and will be something I order again. As for the bistec, it was tender and flavorful just like the pastor. The tostada was basically a party on a chip and even with everything on it it stayed crispy and didn't break through. The fundido was delicious (a bit oily with the chorizo) but with any fundido you have to eat it quickly Safe to say I'll return #supportlocal

It is one of the best authentic Mexican street tacos. I came in with a big group, and we tried all the tacos that were on the menu, and they were all delicious. My favorite one was the Chorizo, it was really good. The hot sauce bar looked unattended until we asked them to refill, and they were nice about it to do so. The place looked ok and not so clean at the tables, but we'll the tacos were really good.

What's good in the world of Austin tacos? Well let me give you the 411! El Taquito is killing the game IMHO...a family friend and I decided we wanted to check out a few spots and this was the first...I almost said cancel the rest because El Taquito set the bar so high ...we went in to taste JUST tacos...no sides so here's the low low What did we order? Campechana - this one had me from the jump...3 meats! Bistek,Carnitas and AL Pastor sheeeeesh Bistek Los Famosos - Steak...I would call it Asada Carnitas - Awesome pork! How did it taste? Ummm damn good! I think that's a category. By far the Campechana was my favorite...the flavors were all on point and there's equal amounts of meat...complimented with the right portion of onions and cilantro!...keeping it classic is the way to my heart! The carnitas wooooo.. yessuh! Tasted fresh...they do make them to order...meaning it's not coming out of a warmer in to the tortilla. The Bistek was flavorful...only knock I had was it felt like they didn't cut the meat against the grain...big deal...chew a lil more it's still good Did I mention the corn tortillas were FRESH MADE! Final points El Taquito sits at the top of my list currently and it's because the food is super authentic ...the price of approximately $3.50 per taco and the amount of protein in the taco makes this a no Brainer! The fact that the corn tortillas are fresh made dammit man that's a winner....sorry no flour tortillas for a pureist! Like tacos...get yourself over to El Taquito..thank me later

What an awesome find!!!! We had everything from bean and cheese tacos, chorizo and egg tacos, mugs tacos, and tacos all pastor. Aquas Frescas de lemon and Pina were so fresh!!! This place is clean and well kept. Great music too. Food delivery was quick and care is taken with each order to ensure you were served just as ordered. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem off Riverside. Not crowded on a Friday night, lots of families in here just trying to get their taco fix. I'll follow them. I had the Al pastor tacos, the green salsa is delicious I put it on every bite !

Delicious food and even better salsas. I LOVE that this place has an open salsa bar. I went when it wasn't busy and it was nice to serve myself salsa on all my tacos haha. Tip: ask for your chiles rellenos with no salsa. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the tomato based sauce they put on my poblano Chile relleno, but it was fine since I got salsa from the bar.

Came here with the recommendation of a friend who said that these were the best tacos he's had and that my vegan/vegetarian friends should break their diet and eat meat because the tacos were that good. I thought I ordered their 3 specialty tacos but then the cashier told me to pick 2 meats. I ended up with a plate of 6 mini street tacos ($12ish) which I couldn't complain about. The tacos were filled with juicy and tender meat. They have a salsa bar with a bunch of different salsas to try. I also split nachos ($15ish) with a group of people. They don't give many chips but you can ask for more chips and they'll give you regular tortilla chips for free. Overall, not a bad stop for late night tacos. You can tell that they're a busy shop because there was a constant flow of people all night past 10pm on a Saturday.

ordering area. you can also place your order at the tablet as well but card only.

Is this the only restaurant in Texas that doesn't have their prices visible anywhere inside the establishment?

If you ask them for a menu the prices are listed, also.... There's two menu's and the narrow white one has some signature items not listed on the regular menu. Hope this helps!

She noticed I was ordering dairy items on side and asked about if pesto in guacamole was ok. So astute and kind of her. Also on my friends second drink remembered she didn't want salt or her rim without even asking - Everything tasted so fresh and high quality - Brisket tacos: packed with flavor--maybe it was the wagyu meat or the black magic oil. Freshly made corn tortillas were awesome. Usually corn ones and pretty throwaway meh, but these added to the greatness of the tacos. 5 stars - Duck flautas: crispy covered in mild mole. Loved the mashed potato addition inside for some mellowness and texture. 5 stars - Guacamole: so fresh and that dollop of pesto on top was lovely. Served with crispy masa dippers were impressive almost a 8x11 page size. It was fun to crack off into pieces, but hard to stop eating it. 5 stars - Sweet potato: friend loved these long charred wedges. 4.5 stars - Cocktails were stellar. I got the Don Dario which was a play on a marg and delightful - $12 of a few drinks during lucky hour (Mon-Fri 5-6pm, Sat-Sun 3-5pm) - High energy vibes in a clean, open, tan colored space - Had their bottle water on the table in a champagne bottle which speaks to my heart Midlights: - In East Austin so have to Uber if you are staying more central - Tacos come in orders of 4. I've only been once and it's definitely not gonna be the last time. In fact, we've got an upcoming reservation that's been on the books for quite sometime. The bar & atrium are fantastic and they boast a generous happy hour. The restaurant area and entire space are decorated wonderfully. Amazing artwork adorns the walls, they've got extensive art all about, vaulted ceilings and more. It's kind of like being in a hacienda. It feels like you're in Mexico. Truly. The restaurant and food are upscale without being pretentious. How refreshing! Speaking of refreshing...they've got cocktails and mocktails that will knock your socks off. I'm a big fan of the Nojito. My boyfriend loves the Mexican martini (it's primo). Let's talk about food. Wow-wee is it everything and then some.
