We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

The tour came with a flight of their drinks, which included gin, bourbon and vodka. My favorite was the gin. Along with the flight of drinks , we also got two cocktails and the tour. The staff was awesome and the drinks were great. We got all of this for a great price. I also enjoyed to hear about the history of how this distillery came to be. The tour included just me and one other person, which ended up making it feel very personal and give the opportunity to ask a lot of questions. Find the groupon for this place and check out what they have to offer!!

We arrived shorty before our scheduled time, and the distillery was just opening. Don (co-owner) welcomed me and told us to come on in. The space is very welcoming, and we immediately felt comfortable. We were fortunate enough that Don took care of us. He told us about the beginnings of the distillery, how he and his partner got started, and how they have continued to evolve. Their attention to details are unmatched. Their gin, bourbon, and vodka were all top-notch, and we were very impressed by the personalized tour. Don's passion and knowledge made the experience truly memorable. We learned so much about artisan products, and the efforts that go into making them. I strongly recommend this experience to others. Their spirits taste really good. We could've stayed longer, as comfortable as Don made us feel. We were able to sample most of their products and we had two amazing cocktails each. We purchased the Artisanal Gin, the Barrel Finished Gin, and the Blended Bourbon. My wife surprised me with a bottle of the Blended Bourbon, and Don presented it in a very nice gift bag. He actually dedicated the bottles to us and signed them. We're looking forward to bringing our friends for another visit soon. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recommend a tour to any spirits enthusiast!

They have a pretty good selection of beers and of liquors (I presume wine, too, but I didn't check). While there are "bourbon bars" with a wider bourbon selection or "gin bars" with a wider gin selection, they have an above average selection of each, and they don't charge absurd up charges for choosing the liquor you like. The bartender is very polite. There's ample seating at the bar, and you can also take your drink to some loungy-er chairs in the nearby part of the hotel lobby. All in all, a solid bar.

You walk in and the bar is to your right. It was about 6 and no one was at the bar. There was a group of guys discussing something over drinks in the lounge area but that was about it. The bartender came right up to my boyfriend and I. I told the bartender my boyfriend had never been to Texas so we tried out essentially every tap by sampling which was nice that he offered that up. After we tried each beer we decided on some options. The bartender went back to texting in the corner and we sat at the bar listening to the music playing in the open concept lobby/bar area We eventually took over the seating area that group was in because the couches looked more cozy than the bar. The happy hour advertised is not a thing anymore, they now have reverse happy hour from 9-10. The beers weren't too expensive as our tab was only $13 which I doable. The bartender disappeared from the bar for a fair amount of time which made me anxious because I used to be a bartender, I guess he trusted we wouldn't leave without paying. He didnt come check on us to see if we needed another beer but that was ok I guess. I went back up to the bar to cash out and that was that. This bar is good for a quick drink but I wouldn't probably go for a top notch bar experience.

Can't believe I've missed this place so many times when I'm the area! We were sitting at the bar so service was fast, though not very friendly, with plenty of showmanship to entertain. These are true mixologist and can make anything but we decided to work through the cocktail menu. My fav drink of the night was my Match Mucho, never had anything like it, but it grew on me with each sip. These are not guzzling drinks, definitely sip and savor. I didn't like all of the drinks (couldn't get halfway through the Red Headed Oaxacan), but I like the variety and that my palate was challenged. Flavors of all the cocktails were complex with many layers. And the vibe of this place was adult, and low-key. Serious cocktail connoisseurs need to check this place out! (Note: Their focus is cocktails, limited snack menu in the form of cheese and meat charcuterie board options)

Got 2 rolls that were a bit too salty for my liking especially when it comes to something "light" and refreshing (and I loveee salt) but it was overpowering for sure. The ambiance was not what I expected. Lighting was nice, but it seemed just not as "upscale" as most places in west village. Everything took a while, hosts were incredibly rude (except 1) and music was odd and loud (and I loveee a vibe but not at a bar associated with a great omakse type scene) the ambiance I assumed would be relaxing, quick, polite, and to standard of west village. I do have to include that there was a host there with a septum ring and dark hair in a brown coat that saw me just asking for service (politely- I worked in service industry and I don't throw my hands everywhere lol) and she looked at me instantly turned her cheek and ignored me. Mind you, we made direct eye contact. Probably won't be back however, I do love namo! (I assume they're associated due to the chopsticks given at Collette)
