Highly recommend this shop! I needed a replacement for my under car shield and Caesar took care of it right away. Also, my car was attacked by rodents and I wish I found Electric City before I spent $1,500 at the Tesla dealer to fix some coolant hoses. My cars engine was shaking and running rough, after attempting to fix the issue myself , I soon realized I needed a professional. Hoping the car just needed the EGR VALVE service. Turns out it was worse, it needs a new head gasket.The repair was done fast. This is a common Prius/CT200H issue. I noticed a small oil leak I called Sami he told me bring it in, he took care of it. I had a 2014 Tesla model S 85. I got a warning sign about maximum battery charge level reduce and it would only charge to 33%. I looked around to see what was the best option but these batteries were just so expensive to replace. I called electric city and they were so knowledgeable on the situation and what would be best for me to do. Once the car arrived at the shop it only took them two days to replace the battery and test it out. They also ran a full diagnostic, not just of the battery but the condition of the car to advise me if the battery change would be worth it. They waved the diagnostic fee for me and gave me a really good deal on the battery swap out even worked on a Sunday for me to finish the car ahead of schedule. I tested drove the car and the performance on the car is a lot better than before. I appreciate the work. I appreciate the friendliness and the speed of the job. They got back to me within an hour and agreed to meet at the facility the following Friday at 8:30 AM. Took the day off to make sure I was on time. The business is in a lot with several other automotive service shop. I arrived at 8:20 AM. This business was at the end of the lot. I parked and waited since no one seemed to be there. At 9:00 AM I walked around and checked the facility. That's when I noticed a for lease sign next to the business sign. None of the other shop workers knew if it was still in business. I have an issue with my 2014 Prius' a/c; I typically take my vehicle to the local Toyota dealership for scheduled maintenance and poke around on YouTube or forums to find out if issues could be a simple fix but I ended up not feeling confident enough that messing with the a/c myself in the middle of a SoCal summer was a great plan. I decided to check Yelp reviews, requested quotes, and Cesar responded quickly with a quote; I was able to get an appointment the next morning for an inspection. He and his team were friendly and professional, answered my questions directly, provided photos of the issues found during the inspection, and a quote for all recommended repair/maintenance on-site. The a/c was a bigger issue than expected and the break pads were "in the red"; I brought my car in the next day for the break pad replacement and will schedule the a/c repair at a later date. I've not had an unpleasant experience at the dealership near me, but the quotes I received from Hybrid Auto Club were very reasonable and I was able to ask all of the questions I had before I left, which isn't how I leave appointments at the dealership. I have used Hybrid 911 for several years now for several car repairs. EGR valve cleaning, water pump replacement, oil changes etc. I had yet to go to the Covina location but luck have it I had work out in this area, I was scheduled in and they called in a tech from the Orange county branch out to Covina so that was a huge plus, made me it more personal than anything, and I liked that. Like I mentioned above, I have used them before and prices are really reasonable. To give an example, dealer looked at my repair and wanted to charge almost $1,200 to START. Cesar and his crew diagnosed it for free, set a date, and completed it same day I took the car in, the cost of the repair was 1/3rd than at the dealer, I feel like the personalized approach to my car repair has made me a customer for life. The dreaded head gasket issue, Ceaser was able to slot me in the next morning and Sam completed the installation. After picking up the car there seemed to be an issue with the new water pump, couldn't drive the car while it was in limp mode and Sam drove out to meet us. Ended up towing the car back to the shop and Sam worked on getting it swapped out with a working unit. He stayed late past 8 PM to replace the water pump. read more

I was able to easily get a quote over phone, scheduled a time in which to bring in my 2007 Prius, and got it fixed in a few hours. I requested a complete swap of the ev battery for a new one, and their price was significantly lower than the competition. On my particular trip, I was hit with a zelle cap that stopped me from paying in full, and they were gracious enough to follow me to the local bank to withdraw the rest. And then I found out that I had forgotten my debit card because I swipe my credit card for everything nowadays. 2015 Prius would not start(Hybrid system trouble), I couldn't get it out of my driveway. I called Jacob and he came by... He diagnosed my vehicle and believed it was the "inverter", quoted me to replace it. The next morning I called Toyota, and luckily my car was under warranty for the Hybrid System. Believe it or not, Toyota was not able to figure it out, it took a lot of time and opinions. Eventually Toyota figured it out and it was the "inverter". Jacobs original diagnosis was correct. If I would have used Jacob to fix my car, he charges 80 dollars to drive to the site, and if you use him to fix your vehicle he will reimburse you 40. I was very impressed and if it was not under warranty I would have had him fix the issue. read more
