Hi all, I read all the reviews and I'm assuming Arseen must have had a change in staff because the service I received was good. I have eSurance and they recommended this place. I worked primarily with Bill and Neena. They had very good customer service but did miss a phone call or two. Even though I do appreciate it when someone says they will call and do call, I didn't mind too much when this crew called because they were always courteous. Also they would typically call me the next day. Always, always very courteous and helpful. I was hit by a drunk driver back in April and took my vehicle in sometime in May (due to my schedule). I have a Nissan Frontier and was hit in the rear tire well, body and bumper. They took care of my truck, put OEM parts and always updated the images on eSurance.com. Also, at one point during the process they ordered the wrong mud guards so it delayed the process a little but they installed both new mud guards onto my truck. I thought that was very cool of them. Just recently, my sway bar appeared broken. I thought it was due to the accident. I spoke with Bill, he contacted my insurance and they fixed the sway bar-- 8 months after the accident!!!! I don't know if it was due to Bill or my awesome insurance but it was still appreciated. They installed the sway bar in 10 minutes one morning when I took it in. So I took off a star for delay in phone calls only because you should "do what you say" and do it when you say you're going to do it. But really these people have gone the extra mile for me and I greatly appreciate it. Thanks! read more

this was the place my insurance had me go to after my minor rear-ended accident. Matt was the guy that helped me the entire process. he stayed late when I showed up 5 mins before closing to pick up my car and he called/left voice mail to let me know the status of my car, so kuddos to Matt! :) When i got my car back they did a good job cleaning the interior as I have white dog hair everywhere! but sadlly, i realized they only vacuumed only the front and not the backseat :(.. I dont know anything bout cars but I can say they matched the paint perfectly and that my door closes and bumper is fix :D But my rating is for my trunk. After the repair I noticed the trunk was harder to close, i mean not a big deal, but I don't like to SLAM my trunk in order for it to be fully closed :T read more

Arseen did a great job on my blue 2007 Nissan Versa. They repaired a dent on the passenger door and did a great job. I requested that they use Nissan OEM parts and they had no problem doing it. Esurance even recommended Arseen Autobody and they backed their recommendation with a lifetime warranty on their work. I brought the car in on a Monday and they said I would receive it back by Friday and sure enough, they kept their word. Once I saw the car I was amazed with their work. The repair was flawless and the paint match and blending was perfect even with the blue onyx color of this car. It looked like it was straight off the dealer lot. Thank you Arseen for giving my traumatic car accident experience a smooth ending. I got in my first accident and not only was I in shock for a few days, I was in pain and also for the first time in my life realized how dangerous these metal machines we use for transportation can become in just a split second. The car accident wasn't the worse part... dealing with insurance call after insurance call, locating a rental, figuring out which shop, towing the car there, family blowing things out of proportion and last but not least the fact that my brand new baby was already in a wreck and probably would never be the same. Needless to say, it kind of felt like the end of the world at the moment. It was a bad experience until I reached the body shop. No paperwork since insurance was able to connect directly to their system. Same ez check in at the rental counter, which was only a few blocks away. They had awesome cars at great prices too. For once in my life I got a really fun car to drive while my baby was being given TLC and a ride to and from. They we're very responsive about any concerns I had, also about timeline and cost. Went here on recommendation from Geico. Pros: 1. Easy to rent Enterprise car - very convenient 2. Repairs were OK Cons: 1. Lax on customer service, poor communications on status of car; no detailed explanation of repairs and process 2. Very late in completing repairs - changed delivery date 3 times, and would only inform you of delay on day of pickup, rather than when it was clear there was going to be a delay. read more

Let me start by saying that I've lived a little bit and have been involved in sales and customer service my entire life. With that being said, I have never had a better experience than what Arseen provided to me. My car was broken into and needed window repair. They gave me a few well explained objective options. Original window completion estimate was a day, but they refused to install sub-par warped glass so it extended to 5 days. Of course this was more than fine with me and I appreciated their transparency and ethical stance. Without even asking, they provided me with a free rental car. The work was completed a day ahead of time and they pretty much detailed the entire car on top of it. It seems to be so hard to get good customer service these days, but Arseen has several nice touches in place that demonstrate how its cares about customer satisfaction. Sarge, who is in charge of Arseen's Tesla work, looked over my car and, as promised, sent me a quote promptly. Once I dropped off the car, I received regular email updates, while waiting for my car to be done (required extensive work, so it took some time). When the car was ready, Sarge called me to let me know it was done, and said that he preferred that he be on hand, when I picked up the car, so he let me know his schedule. I brought my car in for bumper repair after a minor parking lot fender bender. The Geico adjuster assessed the damage, gave me a quote and an estimated repair time. Matthew, from Arseen, reached out to let me know when I could drop off the car and he called everyday to update me on the repair status. My car was restored to perfection and they completed all repairs exactly on time and as promised. Thank you Arseen! I have never been in an accident before so I was extremely upset when I rear ended (very lightly) a trucks tow hitch and cracked my front bumper. I have geico insurance and they are associated with Arseen (and enterprise if you need to rent a car while yours is being worked on). I made the appointment online through geico.com and only waited a few minutes before the adjuster greeter me and went out to look at my car's damage. Within a few minutes, the damage was noted and I explained my concerns about the handling of my car and I handed over the keys. I had arranged a ride so I didn't rent a car from enterprise. The same day I got a call to say my car would be ready for pick up on Thurs (I dropped it off monday). Thursday morning I got a call to confirm my car was going to be ready that afternoon. And when I picked my car up it was beautiful! I was so incredibly impressed with the service! They even washed my car and vacuumed the interior! It sucks I was in an accident, but I am pleased to have taken my car to Arseen. Good job guys! read more

I have never dealt with a company with more impressive, personal, and sincere service in my life. Completely attentive from the moment I walked into the shop until I picked my car up this afternoon. As a small business owner in the South Bay for over 30 years, this type of service is something I notice and could not end the day without giving them a 5-star rating on Yelp! Worst customer service. They treat customers and accuse customers as cheaters. I was rear ended a year ago and when the paint starts to peel off, I showed them and ask if that was covered by warranty. They started to become hostile and find all faults on me. There are some scratches from at parking lot (which is common with all the compact packing spaces in Silicon Valley). They used it as reason why they can not honor the warranty and asked me to pay $2k for the repair. They even accused me of double claim. Saying that I probably got a settlement from the guy who scratched my car and then claiming the warranty. This is no way to treat a customer. UPDATE When I posted this review, my car was at Arseen for another unrelated repair. After I posted this review, Arseen called me the following morning while I was at work. And told me that they will not repair my car and that I need to pick up my car immediately or they will charge me daily for storage fee!!! NO explanation or anything. They close at 5pm so that means, I either pay the daily storage fee or skip work and find a way to pick up my car from their shop. (And course, I am at work, I have no other car to go their shop). A very great predicament that I had to go through. So, early morning, instead of working, I spent several hours finding a ride to pick up my car without any luck. Finally, I had to call Geico and Arseen multiple times and finally got an extension to pick it up the following day. I'm just so glad that my car is drivable. Imagine if I need to get a towing truck to move my car! I was able to move my car to Service King. And wow! What a great service! They treated me as customer. And they are not happy if you give them 9 in the review, they will find a way to make it right to earn your 10. read more

Service there was flawless! Our (parked) car was damaged by another car and thankfully we got their car insurance information. I spoke with their insurance handler and they told us to bring it to Arseen for all the repairs needed. (They are associated with Geico.) The damage to our car was somewhat minor- a broken tail light and slightly damaged bumper. We managed to drop the car off on a Friday morning and it was complete on Tuesday afternoon! I went here because it was where Geico told me to go for the damage done to my car's bumper when I was rear ended. My appointment was at 10am on a Mon. I got there easily, it's not as hard to get to as I thought people made it out to be- very close to Almaden expressway. I was a few min early and only waited a few minutes to see Mahdi, who was to be my person of contact at the shop. He was very friendly and told me how we'd be looking at my car/damage together will a man named Bill (who was more in charge of the actual work to be done) and then went through paperwork for the work to get started. The whole appointment only took about 10 minutes. The 2 guys asked if I needed any help getting a ride back home, to which I replied I was going to call a cab. To my surprise, they offered me a ride back! From what I could tell, they had two drivers who chauffeur people without rides. I gladly accepted the offer and had a quick ride back home from the nice guy who drove the 6 series BMW. I only had 20s on me at the end, so asked if he had any change so I could give him a tip. He graciously refused my offer and went on his way. Mahdi was good at communicating with me later that day (and later that week) about the extent of the work and time estimate for getting things done. The car was to be ready Wed at 5pm. I didn't have a ride at that time, so asked if I could get one from them again. They weren't available (only in the mornings do they have this service it seems), but offered to pick me up the next morning. I didn't need a ride then, so I declined. When I picked up the car, everything was a smooth process once again. The total was as Mahdi quoted and the work done looked great. Likewise, the interior of the car wasn't messy or any different from when I had left it with them. I would highly recommend this shop given my experience, they have great service and aim to please the customer. They're also set up well with Geico- all my information, payment amount, bill total etc, got updated into my claim immediately. read more

Terrible Don't deal with an estimator named Nina. Any mistake she makes will be attributed to you and she will not do anything to rectify it. The general manager is not much better--promised to get estimate corrected and set up new date to have repair done properly--never did. Worst service ever. They don't know how to talk to a customer forget about repair it to the satisfaction. Came in for a repair through GEICO. When they deliver the car, they simple hand over the keys and done. I looked at the door and find it repaired, but did not realize they have broken the side mirror assembly. After 2 weeks, i notice the hairline crack and went back. Bill simply denied that its a possibility that their people while repairing the door must have done the damage or it could be the old damage, but they did not fixed it. Bill told me that look at the pictures it looks like a new damage and when asked to show the pictures, there is no way you can tell if a damage has happened. You ask why i notice the damage after 2 weeks, simply because its not easy to tell there is a damage. I have asked simple question to them if as a human being they could have find that damage and Bill said yes. That tells me how bad a company and a person he is in terms of accepting a human error he simply denied the whole thing. The repair for them cost less than $300, but they simply don't care, neither the satisfaction of the customer or neither backing up their own worst repairs and employees who might have done the damage and have not notified them. read more

The best in the rest. It s like everything is there, no waste of time, no hassle, great service and excellent quality job. I have 2002 Pontiac Trans Am collectors edition, when I span in the rain and slam that car in the median divider in 101, I thought my car is gone. My farmers insurance towed my car to Arseen Auto Body and they told me that it might be totaled. I spoke to the owner his name is Nik, and I told him that I don't want my car to be totaled. Arseen fixed my car as you think it was a brand new car again. I am highly satisfied and I definitely recommend them. I believe they got the best Body and Paint workers in the class. read more

So I've been back now two more times. One to get a small repair done on a Ducati motorcycle, and the second to my truck just last week. I brought in a bumper to be installed, as I was sure they knew how to do it. Other shops would have turned me away for not purchasing the part through them, or worse: not buying an OEM part. Bill, just like the other times handled my requests like a true professional, and both times I was happy. This means that the original work they did on a RSX-S was great back in 2009 or so. The work done to my 2008 M3, top notch. Both the Ducati and the Tundra received love from Arseen. I will continue to bring my cars to them, and also continue to suggest this shop to friends. I give 4 stars due to the lack of communication when my car wasn't going to be ready on the date I was told. Normally I wouldn't have cared if it was communicated more then hours before pick up. I got almost daily updates of when my car would be ready. Two days before schedule pick up I got confirmation of pick up time. I was told if there were any changes I would receive a call. I live in Hollister and work in north San Jose so scheduling for pick up was a task in itself. Once I got to San Jose and my ride went back to Hollister I received an email that my car was going to take another week! In find it hard to believe they didn't know they would need an extra week for repairs! On the day before pick up I tried to call to properly plan for pick up and the lady that answered refused to tell me if my car was going to be ready next day. That drove me crazy. I called back and talked to a guy and he finally gave me confirmation so that was nice! On a positive note - they would have received 5 stars if not for the communication- The service was amazing! My car looks amazing. They made the process easy! I will recommend them and go to them for future use! But all with caution that I can't trust the time confirmations to be correct. read more

I used this shop one time before. I was very pleased with the work and customer service. However, this time was a totally different experience. They took almost a month to fix my car, which wasn't even in that bad of an accident, just damage to panels. They were not proactive in giving me updates, I had to keep asking for an update. When I finally got to pick up the car there were spots everywhere. Some that had to be buffed out with running compound, some with a wet towel, and some that were under the new clear coat! They can't be removed. It looked like a rushed job even though they had the car for so long. read more

I almost never leave reviews, but the guys at Arseen definitely went Above and beyond. I have to praise them. I had a dented door on my Tesla Model 3 that needed to be fixed. First off, I was working with Sarge, and he was extremely kind and courteous, always keeping me up to date and informed about the status of everything. Second, they had a super fast turn around and a very fair price. I had gone to a DIFFERENT auto body shop first to get a quote. The OTHER shop said that I would have to leave the car with them for multiple weeks before they would start work on it AND that they would have to replace the whole door, costing upwards of $4k. For a dent. I decided to not leave it with them. Arseen on the other hand had it in the shop getting worked on within a day, and were completely done within 3 business days. When I dropped off my car, they drove me to Enterprise to rent a car, and when I picked up my car after it was fixed, I simply left the rental car with them, and they returned it for me. They were able to fix the door instead of replace it (it looks perfect and brand new again) and the final bill was a fraction of the quote from the other place: $1400 (and of that I only paid a small portion for my insurance deductible). BEYOND THAT. They weren't done there. There were a couple other minor things I needed fixed that I just wanted a quote for. When I showed up to pick up my car, they didn't just give me a quote. They surprised me and took the initiative and just fixed it for me...free of charge. This was an extra that would have otherwise costed a couple hundred. There were even a couple MORE minor things that they fixed for me that I hadn't even mentioned to them. And to top it all off, they returned my car freshly washed, detailed and fully charged. If you go to their shop, they are very nice. I brought my car for a repair estimate which I submitted to my Insurer. In the following month I have left well over a dozen message and have never gotten a return call. I've gone back to the shop several times, asking for information about my car and was told someone would call me back. They didn't. I went and demanded to speak with the person responsible for my repair and had a lovely conversation with him. He promised to let me know the next step. He never did. I went back once more and spoke to the front desk person. She said in order for them to proceed, I needed to give them a deposit. After more than a month of asking for information and not getting any, this was how I inadvertently found out how to proceed. Obviously by finding another shop - one that would deign to give me information in.a timely manner, respond to phone calls, be responsive, and be true to their word. read more

Fuck this place! They need to get their shit together. Worthless staff, no communication, and half ass work. Way better places out there to choose from--stay clear of this place !!! First of all the idiot that did my estimate never included pics of the damage in my file. Then my insurance call them and asked to send over the info and they said they had no record of me ever going their for the estimateI called them on Friday and low and behold they did have a record of my previous visit. I asked them to either send it to me or to my insurance. They said they'd send it to my insurance company so I have them their email and my claim #. Monday morning I get an email from insurance saying they still haven't received anything. Called Arseen back and told them the situation. They put me on hold for 5 minutes then hung up on me wtf!!! Called back and asked to speak to manager. Left him a message and he has yet to get back to me. WHAT A JOKE!!!! Oh and the mouse, Michelle (receptionist) is absolutely useless!!! It baffles me why they couldn't just send my info over--is it that difficult? They lost a customer as I took my business elsewhere. read more

I had an incident several weeks back wherein my Tahoe suffered significant damage that resulted in having to get the entire rear bumper replaced. Being that I adore my truck, I was eager to get it fixed quickly and flawlessly. I went to Arseen as a recommendation from Progressive whom I have my insurance policy with. First of all, Arseen is convenient because my insurance company, Enterprise Rental and the auto body are all under one roof. For anyone who has had to experience auto body repair or insurance claims, then they know how the whole process can be frustrating, overwhelming and inconvenient. So having all the tools I need in one place was a bonus and I utilized them all. Bill was the estimator that I worked with from start to finish. He was very approachable, friendly and walked me through, step by step, on what needed to be done, how long it would take and thoroughly looking everything over. After our meeting, I felt confident about leaving my truck with Arseen. So now that I have the truck back I have to say that I am pleased with doing business with them. The repairs were complete in the time promised and the work done is great...right down to the paint match. I had a good experience with them and their eagerness to go above and beyond is valuable to me as a customer. I could not have had a more positive experience! Kudos to Geico for referring me to Arseen Auto Body! I got rear-ended badly, and my bumper was hanging off my car. I was pretty upset (as I assume most customers are). This was my first experience having body work done on my car, and I had the pleasure of working with both Bill and Eric. They were calm and reassuring. Bill even had helpful suggestions on ways to save me money on my deductible! I dropped off my car Tuesday morning, and picked it up Thursday night. I received text message updates each day on my car, which put me more at ease that my car was in the right hands. When I finally did pick up my car, it looked better than when I bought it!
