Marina works so quickly and efficiently that starting 3 months was actually a bit early- 2 months would have been sufficient for me. The first fitting appointment was a bit of a whirlwind so it helped to have additional set of eyes as well as pre-meditation of what I wanted. After the initial alterations, there was only one additional minor alteration needed for my wedding dress. She did an excellent job fixing up the beading, with the overall fit, bustle, and changing the lining, and her prices were more than fair. I did have to ask to try on my dress after the 2nd round of alterations, as that was not part of their usual process. Marina holds onto the wedding dress and steams it right before you pick it up, which should be closer to your wedding day, so plan accordingly. I took my reception dress home after the first alterations, but after practicing for our first dance, I decided I wanted some additional security to keep the strapless dress up.
