I hate leaving a bad review, but I'm so upset about my recent experience. I want to warn y'all to prevent this from happening to anyone else I purchased a brand new duvet from pottery barn about a month ago and I just took it here to be dry cleaned since there was a small spot on it. When I got home, I noticed the black border was ruined by a bleach stain. When I returned to show them the stain and ask what their policy was, they said they were 100% not responsible or liable for anything that happens in their machines. Which confused me since I asked for dry cleaning and paid for dry cleaning. Then I went home and returned to bring the duvet in person since they kept denying any responsibility. They kept denying responsibility and proceeded to tell me they followed the care instructions and washed it in the machine, which is not what I requested for NOR paid for when I picked it up. They did not even apologize until my 2nd trip back when got upset. They did finally reimburse me the $10 dry cleaning fee since they didn't dry clean it, but only after I called them out for not even providing the service I asked for and paid for. I just moved down the street and this service wouldn't have happened at my old spot. I was really nice about what happened. I also don't think it's unreasonable to expect some sort of compensation for a brand new duvet they ruined. This wasn't 3 years old or even 6 months old, this is a brand new duvet. I even showed my order summary with how recent I ordered it, to be honest on my end. It's sad getting brand new bedding, taking it to the dry cleaner to take care of it, the dry cleaner not dry cleaning it, instead throwing it in the wash with bleach and ruining it, then charging you for dry cleaning and assuming you won't know the difference, and to then deny responsibility and not offering to help replace/ compensate their mistake. read more

Do not use this place! I've been using them for a while and they damaged two of my sweaters by shrinking them - for months they said they are trying to fix it and never bother to return it until I kept asking. When it was returned MONTHS later, they were still shrunk. I asked for compensation as they are Michael kors and Ted bakers sweaters and they said they can't guarantee that the clothes will not come back smaller or bigger when I send my clothes to them. What kind of business is this? Multiple of husband's shirts have holes in them too. Well safe to say we found a new laundromat around the corner. read more

The couple that works here are very hard working and extremely friendly. I take my dry cleaning here and all my alterations. They have never messed anything up and it feels really good to be able to drop off my beloved pieces without worrying. The prices are very fair as well. All smiles over here! read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I brought in a white silk pillow case and it was returned to me looking yellow. When I brought this to his attention, he was very unhelpful and rude. Do not trust this service, I highly recommend taking your belongings elsewhere, you won't regret it. This place is definitely not elegant. read more

I found their service to be disappointing and extremely unfriendly. I took a nice silk pillow case to get cleaned there and when it was returned the color was a dirty goldish yellow color. I don't recommend bringing anything nice here to get dry cleaned. read more

This is my go-to spot. The owners are extremely nice and always timely with my laundry. I give them a "dry" and "no-dry" bag for delicates and workout clothes. I don't even want laundry in any future apartment since they do such a great job! read more

Recently moved to this area and decided to give this place a try. Mr. Jeff Lee was very pleasant and fast. They offered same day services which is convenient for me. Dropped off in the morning and picked up after work. Mr. Lee said they recently took over the place and hope to get good reviews. We will see!!! read more

Terrible Service and they will not back their job. I have been coming here 5 yrs. Took 3 pairs of black dress pants, all 3 came back burnt and damaged. They were pressed at too high of heat. Gave Ricky the benefit of the doubt "what can we do" the Chinese man (owner I presume) refused to work with me even though he knows me by first name and I have been coming here for 5 years! He denied any wrong doing and said the pants were old. I have worn them 2-3 times! I am out $240 in new pants. My family owns 15 dry cleaners back home, I know the in's and out. They simply overheated the pressing process and singed the synthetic fibers. I highly suggest you don't use this business. read more

i'm really happy with Elegant Cleaners! I got up early to take my laundry to the Missing Sock, and for the second time in one week, the store was closed with no indication when they would open again. Finally at the end of my rope with that place, I went over to Elegant Cleaners. It was a Sunday, but they were open AND offered same day service. All in all, my entire family's laundry for the week cost $30 (I believe it's $1.20/lb). The clothes were in perfect shape and they mysteriously folded my fitted sheet perfectly (seriously - how is this done?!). Very friendly people and they now have a new regular. read more

Ricky has been in the business for over 20 years and knows his stuff. every time i have a stain or need alterations, or just to have my dry cleaning or regular clothes washed. he's the one i go to. does an amazing job and will continue to go to him. read more

The new ownership here is great. I brought everything from duvets to dresses and shirts. My duvet was returned to me in a nice comforter bad that I can reuse. They successfully fixed a tear in a vest and wear upfront about how it would look a bit different afterwards. They always do a great job and are friendly and welcoming every time. read more

Ricky, the guy behind the counter, does good work with dry cleaning. I've been coming here for about a year and a half (since I moved into the neighborhood) and haven't had complaints. I also didn't realize that he can sew well until I got a hole in my jeans and he patched it for like five bucks. I then learned that it's better to patch jeans before they rip as opposed to afterwards. So Ricky patched a second pair in anticipation of them ripping (they had a spot that was wearing thin) and the jeans are good as new now. Talk about a nice way to save money. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst dry cleaner I have ever used. I took in several items to be cleaned thinking it would be nice to use someone in the neighborhood. I, unfortunately, did not inspect the clothes thoroughly enough upon pick-up because, a couple weeks later when I went to wear two of the items, I learned that they were all still stained. I had noted several stains to the owner ("oh sure, we'll take care of it") and the pieces were returned to me as if they had never even been cleaned. When I went back, the owner simply laughed at me and said, "you already paid me". Unfortunately, yes I did, but I will not be returning ever again. read more
