The short: Loved it! First time going and have definitely found my new regular spot. Israel/Isaiah(?) helped me out and hooked me up with one of the best haircuts I've had in a long ass time! Super easy to talk too, funny, and knows what he's doing. Price was fair, ambiance was chill af and the shop was super clean and modern, but not in a pretentious way. Went on a Wednesday afternoon without an appointment and didn't have to wait, (two barbers and one was cutting someone's hair already). Shorter: Go! ASK FOR ISRAEL/ISAIAH or Caitlyn! Bring cash! Make an appointment (walk-ins are welcome but don't get mad if u have to wait cuz ur dumbass didn't think ahead ) The long: It 's all about the vibe for me. Getting your haircut is like such a super intimate thing, IMO. I mean, you're basically letting a complete stranger possibly make or break the next 2-3weeks of your life If you've ever gotten a bad haircut before then you know what I mean. So for me, it's all about first impressions and this place and my barber passed with flying colors! Was the shop clean? Yes! Plenty of seating if you have to wait and the space is very airy! Not claustrophobic at all. Parking is a cinch since it's next to Food 4 Less so you can park in the lot next to it (idk if that's allowed but fuck it, I did it and didn't get towed--park there at your own risk)! It's right next to Goodwill so if u wanna shop there before, after, or while u wait, there u go! As far as the barber I got, he was so chill! I'm in love lol! Nah he's really really good tho! He was friendly, not a douchebag, and funny and easy to talk too! First time getting my haircut by him and I'm definitely gonna become his regular. Again, it's all about the vibe for me and no red flags as far as his attitude went and luckily, he also knows how to cut hair. He knew what I was going for even though I suck at asking for what I want. It was quick easy and painless! Hopefully he's as chill the second time around... My hair type: thin Asian hair, slightly balding but he managed to make me look like I have more hair than I actually do (if that makes sense). ASK FOR ISRAEL/ISAIAH! This review is specifically for Robert, he was nice enough to squeeze in my son for a haircut. My son is one and needless to say he doesn't sit still. Robert was absolutely amazing, super patient and kind, interacted with my son so he wasn't scared and was very compassionate when he did freak out. Also, it's the best haircut he's had by far (and he's had a few). Thank you Robert! I highly recommend him, and the shop itself is super clean and social distancing is enforced. read more

I heard about this new barbershop opening in West Covina. I had to check it out and was able to get a cut right before they closed. Nice place very nice service I come in with my boyfriend after he gets back from his 9-5 so I love the hours and it's never busy when we come in around 6. Different barbers are are better than others but the best is the girl with the thigh tattoo but no one there is terrible. Only complaint is that they seem to not clean in between cuts and since there is no ac they open the doors which makes the hair get everywhere even in the waiting areas old if this is an all the time thing or if they just don't clean when it's close to closing time either way personally I don't like hair everywhere. read more

3 barbers and although they took time on each cut I heard one client kept asking for corrections. Shop was well decorated nicely with several nice TVs set up but floor was full of hair and for the time I had to wait no one bothered to clean it up after their cuts. And as far as my grandsons cut, it was uneven and nothing like I requested. 15 dollars is a small price to pay for a lesson learned and thankfully his hair grows quickly. read more

I took my son here for his first haircut and a barber named Caitlin cut his hair! She was so nice to him and I loved that so much. The shop is very spacious and they made sure he was comfortable for his big day. She let me know it was cash only before hand so I was able to go across the street to the atm. It's a great shop! I went in there to have my two boys get a hair cut. When we went in, there were just adults (a few) and they had a scary movie playing and one of the barbers went to change it and put a Disney movie on. I thought that was so nice and considerate of him. :) Thank you for that. Katherine (I believe is her name) cut both of my kids hair and she did an amazing job.
