While I chose to substitute the grits for fries, everyone else at the table loved the grits. I'm not a fan of lobster or shellfish, so the snapper was an easy win for me. My wife ordered the lamb, and another couple in our group had the steak and eggs. The ladies also enjoyed mimosas, which were well-balanced and flavorful. One highlight of our visit was meeting the chef--he was very personable and took the time to share his background and journey, which added a nice personal touch to the experience. My only minor critique is that there wasn't an option to select the temperature for the lamb or steak. As someone who really enjoys steak, being able to choose the temperature is important to me and ultimately influenced my decision to go with the snapper instead. Well it was my sister in laws wedding brunch and we got there at 11:10 for our 11:30 reservation. We were a larger party. We didn't get our drinks until 1:00 hour into the service when one of the two tops of our party had their drinks and food finished before we even got our drink. An hour and a half later we went to talk to the manager and he said my bad we forgot to turn off uber eats food. That's on us, let me check what's going on with the food. He never came back to see us. While my 18 month old is having a meltdown they didn't have milk and he just wanted his eggs. My fiance ended up leaving to get checkers for us while we waited. We ended up canceling three of the tables food after two hours. The brides grandparents left because they were starving and couldn't wait anymore. Found out about this place via TikTok. It is connected to a bed and breakfast in Sanford. We went for the brunch on Sundays. My friend and I I were seated outside and it was pretty humid. The food portions are extremely small for the price: The French toast was $21.99 and the shrimp was $23.99. They did have a la carte side for an additional fee. The photos is what I was presented with when it arrived to the table. The French toast nor the shrimp and grits were filling. I ended up eating only to be hungry after. I really wanted this experience to be great. Our guests did rave about the collard greens and sides. However and unfortunately, when we sat down to eat the main course (the surf/turf), I noticed the lobsters were undercooked. Most of our guests had started eating as they were excited about it but we had to ask them to stop. It was embarrassing and disappointing to say the least, having to microwave each lobster tail. I was  more afraid of someone getting sick but thankfully everyone is fine after consuming some of the raw lobster meat. Needless to say, I really wanted this to be a good experience as indicated on Google and Facebook reviews but that was not my experience at all. The amount of money I paid to have a nice birthday dinner party for my husband did not match the basic level of customer service expected. For example, the meal was to be dropped off between 4:30p and 5p and he was an hour late. I expected him to call and let me know what time he was arriving. I called a few times and left a message and no response. Finally he answered and said he was around the corner. Him and his assistant arrived at 6pm when my event was to start. Thankfully, my guests were running behind and he apologized but it was still stressful. Another example, I paid the deposit and requested a receipt and his assistant said the software does not provide receipts for deposits. This seemed odd to me because all money transactions should require a receipt. Another example, all of his communications is via text and lead to some confusion. There was no phone call to finalize details. I had to request it. Finally, when I shared the issue with the undercooked food it didn't seem like there was a care in the world. He sent me a canned response (via text) and an offer for another service at 10% off. No thank you. read more

There were some things that were good, but the aforementioned items overshadow the good. I'm making this post in hopes that Chef Juvon will provide a better overall service in the future than he did with my wife. Poor Customer Service After my wife hired Chef Juvon to cater my birthday dinner, she began to talk about how the only method of communication was via text message. She also mentioned she was told she couldn't get a receipt for her deposit because the software used by Chef Juvon didn't provide it. After paying the deposit, there was never a time where the chef reached out to confirm details for the event. My wife had to repeatedly reach out to Chef Juvon to confirm the menu and setup times. Late Arrival We were told that Chef Juvon would arrive at 4:30 pm to begin setup for an event scheduled for 6:00 pm. Chef Juvon arrived at 5:57 pm, three minutes before the event was scheduled to start. He didn't proactively reach out to us to let us know he was running late. My wife called him and he mentioned he was a few minutes away. Under Cooked Food When our guests began eating the surf & turf meal that was prepared, we all began to notice the lobster had a translucent look to it. We looked at the lobster further and determined it was undercooked. We advised our guests to not eat the lobster until we could cook it a bit further ourselves. We placed the lobster in the microwave to cook it further so that none of our guest would become sick from eating undercooked food. After our event was over, my wife reached out to Chef Juvon to share her feedback about everything mentioned above. Chef Juvon, responded with what appeared to be a canned responses: "It is our goal to always serve with eggcelence! My apologies, the food wasn't 100% of what and or how we deliver. Thank you for your honesty, your feed back is greatly appreciated and will use it to build a stronger business. We will take your feed back and use it to improve on areas we lacked that day. If you should give us the opportunity to render another service with a 10% discount you'll find that we are of eggcelence. " After the issues we had, we felt that offering a 10% discount for another service opportunity was kind of tone deaf. There was no phone call or any effort to make a bad situation right. Chef Juvon, we recommend you take some time to focus on better customer service and being on time. We also strongly recommend that you double-check your food before delivering it to make sure it's fully cooked. read more

If you are looking for world class service with top notch elegant dining experience, Chef Ju'von will not disappoint. From my first call to him, he was professional and very accommodating. He kept constant communication with me up until he arrived at my door promptly to provide a personal date night experience to remember. He provided a four course meal that was so delicious to the eyes (presentation) and palate. From the first course of the delicious Caesar Salad server in a edible Asiago baked cheese bowl, to the "out of this world" Crab Cakes. The main course consisted of a perfectly seasoned bone in Ribeye topped with a "melt in your mouth" Salmon Filet. Not that it needed the delicious sauce, however it was a nice compliment to the dish. We finished the night with a "to die for" Chocolate Molten Cake and ice cream. The portions were more than enough. Chef and his teams attention to detail made our night more memorable. Chef introduced each course before serving and even serenaded us with his amazing singing voice. His staff ensured that our every need was met. They decor was beautiful and his playlist really set the mood! We had an amazing night with many laughs in between. A million thanks to Chef and his staff! It's a night we will never forget!
