Lobster pasta
Kaman L.

I LOVE Elia. Every time I came here for dinner. The food that I ordered never go wrong. I came here on Saturday around 6:30 pm for dinner. This place was jam packed due to lots of people coming here to pre-celebrate Mother's Day. My party ordered the combo spread, grilled octopus, zucchini cakes, baratta as appetizers. Lobster pasta and lamb chops for entrees. All of them are at least 4 out of 5 ratings. Grilled octopus are Lamb chops are my favorite. I strongly recommend Elia if you want some good food, ambience and service. I am coming back again soon. :)

Kids dinner plate - chicken kabob and fries

There is a parking lot behind the restaurant. Ambiance and decor are nice. Service is good. Food is good. Appetizer and kids menu price are reasonable. Dinner entrees are on the pricier side, it's Pleasanton downtown, so it's expected. Cocktail and Wine per glass is around $15-20.

Coconut cheviche

The food here was amazing. We ordered the coconut ceviche and chicken skewer's . The ambiance was amazing. The service was okay. Waiter wasn't very attentive. Lots of background noise from bartender. Overall would definitely return.

Seafood paella (lobster on top)
Breanne B.

Been here 5 times now. The seafood paella keeps me coming back! This time I asked for them to take the lobster out of shell for me. They did but they did it before cooking so it turned into a small curl, I definitely feel like I got less this way so I'll go back to getting it out of the shell myself. Spanakopita is a great appetizer and I need it every time I it's wonderful even though they don't serve it with any dipping sauce. You only get 2 pieces. Desserts are all presented beautifully. The appetizer bread with olive oil tapenade is fabulous! Service is great here. Restrooms are clean and stocked with extras like tissue and mouthwash. Tried escargot for the first time, it's a no for me. Sokolatina is a must!! It Was heavenly- warm chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, antep pistachio

BURRATA

Elia made for a really satisfying dinner. The Seabass Carpaccio, Halibut, Burrata, and Arnisia Plevrakia (Lamb Riblets) were all delicious -- every dish was well-crafted and full of flavor. The bright Mediterranean atmosphere is charming and genuinely well done, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. It's a great date night spot. It's on the pricier side, which makes it more of an occasion dinner than an everyday go-to. Worth every bite for the right night out.

10/10 for the lamb riblets, cilbir, and meatballs. The greek coffee was a little gritty and bitter for me but that was my first time trying it and others liked it. Service was fast and friendly. The outdoor seating was very nice and comfortable, highly recommend on a nice day.

The most exquisite ambiance I've ever seen with its gorgeous interior design very demure and polished. The service was amazing and we came to celebrate my friend's birthday so I'm glad we received amazing treatment from the staff. The food was hot and very delicious and we were served a complimentary dessert which was amazing. I'm so glad everything worked out in our favor and we will be back again soon

Bubble shots! Amazing
Kelley K.

Our friends first time here. Octopus, delish, their best dish in our opinion. Our server was so amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better server! Lobster pasta so good! Must have a fun & delicious bubble shots! Blanco tequila, Cointreau & lilikoi/passionfruit. Then, at the table they put on a show to add the bubbles. The staff here is as amazing as the decor here. Welcoming & sophisticated at the same time. We loved the meatballs, the fried green olives & the bubble shots as well! Enjoy!

Seafood Paella & Chicken Souvlaki

Nice date spot in downtown Pleasanton for semi-elevated Mediterranean fair. Relaxing, quiet, and somewhat intimate dining space. Service was very attentive on a weekend. We tried grilled octopus, paella, souvlaki, and pasta. Everything tasted fine, but portions were a bit light. A few of us left wanting a little more.

Beautiful restaurant interior

I took my husband here for his 34th birthday and it was truly an experience. As soon as I told them it was his birthday, they greeted us again with a glass of champagne. We sat at the bar for a more intimate dinner, but they noticed our large coats were hanging off our chairs. So they quickly grabbed a coat rack and hung our jackets up next to us. The food was amazing. The lobster pasta was buttery and delicious. The cocktails were yummy. I can't wait to go back.

Cute decor, like you're in Greece

I took one of my best friends here for her birthday dinner, and Ilya made it feel so special from the moment we walked in. They surprised her with a custom menu that said Happy Birthday Haylie, which was such a cute and thoughtful touch. We both ordered drinks--I forgot what she chose, but I got the one with the evil eye. It was this vibrant blue cocktail with an actual evil eye floating in the middle, and it was super yummy. We started with their famous cheese appetizer that gets lit on fire tableside, which was fun and definitely a little bit of dinner entertainment. We also got the octopus and the arugula salad, and honestly, that salad might be one of the best I've ever had. I even had her try escargot for the first time, and she actually liked it! The ambience and the colors inside really make you feel like you've stepped into Greece--bright, warm, and beautiful. It's such a cute spot, perfect for a special birthday, a nice date night, or anytime you want a dinner that feels a little extra memorable.

Mousaka

Definitely not the best experience. We were seated and had to wait 10 minutes before a waiter even came to our table, then another 5 minutes until we got water. The food was okay but not worth how much you are paying. The ambiance is very nice as it feels like you get a real Greece feel. But due to service and price point, not sure if I'll be going back.

Dip trip (feta and pepper, eggplant and tzatziki)

This place is a gem. Nestled in downtown Pleasanton but the vibe is totally Mykonos. From the outside the blue and white umbrellas and outdoor seating is so inviting! But the inside.. a blend of whites, warmth and that classic blue, it's quaint and not kitschy. The service is consistent and quick. There are many severs and bussers who are constantly filling drinks and clearing the table. Lastly but most important, the food. Fresh. Tasty. Light. Intentional. Everything feels scratch made and so good. I would say the inside is small and might be best for a reservation or early dinner, but absolutely delicious and such a hidden gem!

The staff is friendly and allows you to sample the beer if you're indecisive about what to try or just don't know where to start. Dog friendly too! Their food selection and quality is also amazing and goes FAR beyond typical bar food. I noticed that they had lots of different options for food, which I liked. We saw they had a charcuterie board on the menu and had to order. It came with 3 different cheeses, walnuts, and honey. I wish it had came with more crackers and jam but it was a great pairing with our drinks while chatting. 9/10 Next we snacked on the Bavarian-style soft pretzel, which was huge. It came with their homemade sweet red ale mustard, which was tangy, but also sweet the perfect pairing. We also got the Southwest Veggie Queso and chips, which tasted like a mix between bean dip and nacho cheese-- a10/10, I was surprised by how good it was. We also tried the summer salad, which had mainly arugula, corn, cheese, and avocado. It was like street corn but in salad form with a light dressing --9/10. Lastly, we got the Margherita flatbread, this was small but amazing. I didn't get to take a picture because it was so good it gone within minutes Super cheesy too, though a bit pricey for its size.

My only major reservation is how the karaoke queue is managed. Couldn't help but notice the bartenders and some patrons who generously tipped got to sing multiple times in a row. One of the patrons tipped $20 and sang three songs in a row. In comparison, I got one song in in the span of three hours. I kind of expected the place to start clearing out after midnight but ppl stuck around and seemed to be having a good time. If you're not into rock n' roll/metal karaoke, they also have pool, shuffleboard, and darts. I do like the KJ and the patrons here, though in the future, I'll just set the expectation that I'll get one song in and set a curfew for myself.

They also have $2 beef or chicken tacos until 9pm, and overall the food-to-price value is solid. At 7pm, they start the dance lessons: * Line dancing lesson (~40 minutes) * Followed by either partner two-step or swing dancing (alternates every other week) The crowd was all ages (21+ obviously -- and let's just say I'm on the older side), all skill levels, and very beginner-friendly. I'm pretty uncoordinated, and honestly this was some of the best line dancing instruction I've had. After 9pm, lessons end/open dancez A couple practical tips: * There's really nowhere to stash your stuff, so keep it simple -- pockets or a fanny pack work great * Wear closed-toe shoes if possible unless you want your toes stepped on * No one is judging style here, which actually made it more comfortable and fun Overall: low pressure, affordable, welcoming, and a genuinely good time.

Super expensive with terrible drinks that tasted nothing like how they normally should. Service was unbelievably slow, unprofessional, and it took two guys with nothing to do to make three unbelievably overpriced drinks in incredibly cheap plastic cups with ice that tasted like wood chips. The music selection system is not intuitive at all and god help you if you drink enough to enjoy yourself because you WILL NOT understand the system after a while. In good faith I can't rate this place very well and that's a shame because it does have the potential to be really cool; the biggest hurdle is the terrible device and assistance. If they put as much effort into the staff/service as they do the room layout and high drink prices it would be so much better. Because of how weird the staff vibe was my friends kept making jokes that this place must be made for money laundering lmao EDIT: HOLY SHIT down to one star from two; the final fees were insane. Not only did the staff purposely not notify us about going over time, but they charged additionally by the minute. $109 for less than two hours and that doesn't even include the $50 for the three absolutely terrible drinks. Even checkout was bad as the two staff kept looking at us like we're trying to steal something or leave without paying the bill. The entire vibe was awful on our way out as the staff mumbled at us and refused to make eye contact. Legitimately terrible at the end.
