This was our first time and I am definitely looking forward to going back and trying more items. The decor and table settings were absolutely gorgeous and lended to a vacation feel while dining! This place has such a lovely ambiance! The service was terrific! From the second we entered, the hostess gave excellent service. She was so welcoming and acknowledged that we requested an outdoor table. We did change our minds and she was so kind and gave us a beautiful corner booth inside. Most of the food was absolutely fresh and delicious with the exception of two items. You can tell when fresh vegetables have been sitting cut for days before serving them. All the vegetables tasted like they were freshly cut that morning. The complimentary bread and dipping oil they gave was an absolute treat! The bread was warm and soft. We ordered the pikilia platter which had roasted eggplant, roasted red bell peppers, and tzatziki. I could have devoured the whole plate on my own. The crispy zucchini cakes with the side salad was so full of flavor. I will definitely order these again! My friend enjoyed her skillet baked eggs and it really did look delicious. I ordered the lamb beef meatballs and this was the disappointment. The meatballs were over cooked and extremely hard. It was difficult to even cut them with a knife. The last one was so hard I couldn't even eat it. However, the sauce and salad were delicious. Another disappointment was they didn't even give the eggplant chips that were supposed to be included on the dish. That's one part of the dish I had really been looking forward too. I wouldn't order this again. I enjoyed my dessert and it was the phyllo dough with semolina custard with a berry sauce. My friend didn't like her poached pear dessert. She said it didn't have any flavor and you can't even tell it was poached in champagne or any kind of alcohol. It just tasted like a pear boiled in water. Another, absolutely fantastic evening here at this gorgeous venue. The staff went out of their way to make our 16 year old feel extra special at his birthday. We had the seabass, the lambits, the flaming cheese (too good), the shrimp, the spanakopita (which were nice but got overshadowed by the other dishes) for appetizers. We got multiple servings of their fresh bread which is perfection! For the main course, we had the perfectly balanced and flavorful halibut, the lamb chops and the staff created a special lobster pasta for our son. This review is a few days late, but equally wonderful! I went to Elia last Saturday for my bridal brunch right when they opened at 10am. I had a reservation for 6 and since we went right at 10, there was no wait and inside was practically empty while we were dining - a lot of parties were outside which worked in our favor. Let me start by saying the decor inside and outside takes you straight to Greece. The vibes are modern, but calm and airy. Our server was Dominic. He was super attentive and very sweet. For my drink of choice, I ordered an espresso martini. For my entrees, I ordered 'Scrambled Eggs' and 'Blueberry Banana Pancake'. The beef gyro that comes with the scrambled eggs was delicious! It was super filling, but didn't make me feel too heavy. The blueberry banana pancake is exactly how you would think it would be. You can really taste both of those flavors! It was also light as well! Lastly, to finish off the meal, I ordered a poached pear for dessert. When I say I was happily surprised, believe me! It was fresh, also perfectly sweet. Beautiful restaurant, the patio is decorated amazingly. I would highly recommend coming to get brunch on a nice sunny day. The inside is gorgeous as well. I would have given 5 stars however I ordered the bucatini astakos, because I am on a keto diet I asked to replace the pasta and due to a language barrier I received a plate of vegetable pasta, I asked if I could still have the dish "hold" the pasta because at this point I'm starving and I was brought the dish WITH pasta. It would have been nice to have a salad or veggies instead. So my recommendation is to not try and alter the menu. The lobster and sauce with the shrimp was delicious cooked to perfection! I knew that it was a higher end Greek Restaurant but did not know what else to expect, this restaurant is on par with Kokkari in SF and I wouldn't be shocked if they had some connections given the great food and menu. I was here on a Saturday night and was a bit underdressed as this is a very nice restaurant with wine/champagne buckets ready for the patrons and folks clearly being here for their Saturday date nights, people of all ages were here and it's a great ambiance, I really appreciate a manager coming by and checking with all the tables. Now, to the food, they start with brining hot bread and a lovely dipping sauce - olives, garlic, EVOO - everything that bread can soak up well. Once the waiter came, he promptly greeted us and explained the menu specials with great details. We ended up ordering Octopus, Burrata, and Fried Smelts to start. The octopus was smoky and tender, a large tentacle served with beans. Burrata was creamy and went really well with the citrus and greens. Finally, the fried smelts weren't anything special but a nice option to have instead of the default fried calamari we usually order. I would definitely try the flamed cheese if you crave it, it's quite a spectacle seeing the flames in the middle of the dining room - next time! Seafood paella as a main dish - dare I say it was a steal for $45? It was more of a risotto texture with no crispy rice but seafood is the star. It's topped with a whole lobster tail but also includes sausage, salmon, scallops, claims and large prawns, a really visually impressive dish. We also ordered the moussaka and a swordfish special that was spectacular. Moussaka was tender and cheesy, a great sharing dish and the swordfish was surprisingly moist where they were usually dried out. Food was really good. Services was the worst I've ever had. 45 minutes to refresh my water. A bottle of wine sat on the bar for fifteen minutes before it was bought. Our initial server was switched out because he was leaving, but he didn't leave, we got a new server. New server on eight different occasions when called over (he rarely came over on his own) stopped at another table, took care of them and had to be called over to us again. He was drinking with the other table, toasts and rounds with them to the point of ignoring us. On two different occasions they told us they would clear, 40 minutes late they had not cleared. Our server told us he would be back to take our order I a couple minutes, 45 minutes later we had to call him over. Only time I've ever been pissed off at service. Will not come back. Made a reservation a few weeks in advance and our table was ready upon arrival. Dining is available indoors or on the heated patio. Meal started off with bread along with an olive oil dip. For our appetizers, we opted for the octopus, prawns, along with the trio of dips that our waitress suggested. The octopus was cooked to perfection and quite flavorful. The prawns were decent too. The dips were tasty although I felt the pita was a touch on the drier side. For the main, opted for the lamb chops which were fantastic. Requested medium rare and most of the chops were cooked as such. The chops were on the thinner side, not gamey, and quite flavorful. I loved the complements including their potatoes and vegetables. For dessert, opted for their galaktoboureko which came out as 2 per order and topped with pistachios. This was decent as well. Came here on Saturday for lunch and we did not have a good experience. The food took a really long time, and we could see the servers were fussing with each others. There was a car show going on, but the restaurant should have considered that into how busy it would be. It all seemed so chaotic. I have been here for company lunch and had their dips before, they came with pita, which also listed on the menu. But ours came with the bread rolls with no explanation when the food arrived. Being gluten free (Celiac) looking at the menu was tricky! Told Zubi what I wanted and asked how it could be made gluten free...he went out of his way to make sure my food was amazing. This is a difficult review to write. The food was great - FIVE STARS - no problem here. But the ambiance was about the worst I can imagine for a restaurant of this caliber. There were a number of large parties on the Tuesday night we dined here, and the large groups were seated at several VERY LONG TABLES reminiscent of a college dining hall! The noise level was SUPER LOUD, making it nearly impossible to hear our friends sitting across the table from us. I appreciate the crisp tablecloths and carefully wrapped and tied cutlery. But for the high-end prices charged by this establishment, I would expect a more upscale and intimate dining experience. It will be awhile before I return to Elia; and, when I do, I will choose a day when the weather is conducive to outdoor dining. Or I will inquire before making a reservation as to whether they will be serving any large groups indoors that evening. read more

We order the cauliflower flower appetizer with a side of their truffle fries. They gave us a lot of fries but both were delicious. You can really taste the truffle on the fries. For the entrees, we ordered the seafood paella and the sea bass. My wife and I split the two meals so we can get a taste of everything. The sea bass and lentil bean salad light and the seafood paella was on the heavier side with a decent kick. Both were so darn good. We were really happy. Elia is such a gem! I've been here twice for lunch and I had such a great experience each time. The service is top notch, always super attentive. And the decor is so cozy and cute. Once we ate outside and each chair had a blanket and there were a few fire pits. I've tried so many dishes it's hard to remember them all but I do remember they all tasted wonderful (complimentary bread included lol) standouts include the calamari and smelt. The fried cheese was also really good too and they fire it up at table side to make it extra fun! I had the sea bass twice and would probably order it again a third time. It was light and fresh, perfect fish for mid day. The paella I tried was also made well. I was surprised with how yummy their cocktails were. They made a good espresso martini and I got a good buzz from it! The desserts were good but nothing to die for but I will say you should try their coffee. I've been wanting to check out this restaurant for quite some time already. My lash artist had recommended it because it's an IG-worthy restaurant with good food, and she was totally correct! We ordered Grilled Octopus which was more tender than what I'm used to, but still great. It wasn't crunchy or chewy, so don't expect that. We also ordered a Lobster Tail paella which was amazing -- must try. As for the escargot is what you would typically expect, buttery and parsley deliciousness, perfect to pair with the bread that's provided in the beginning.
