Enjoying a nice beer and time with the husband and watching a Good Game
    Darleen R.

We had a great time. Took the husband out to watch a game and Eat. We ordered our food. The young lady was great. ( Briseis ) . Then we sat and watch the game had a wonderful time. The best part was it is handicap access. But I do think that they should make 1 spot for the kids. I mean is it a beer spot or what with all the Lil ones running around. If one get hurts .then what.

Live music - amazing. Local and unique beers on tap - amazing. Late night bites - you would think amazing. See the picture, this the fried mozzarella for $17. This picture was before we ate anything. Wow. Did someone take a snack before us because what is this. I am in shock. Truly. But the beer is good.

Huge area for parents and kids to hang out in, kid friendly movies on the big screen

a HUGE bar with an incredible amount of choices, fun stuff to do all over the place, TVs, food, massive brewing choices plus and this is unusual they allow other brewers to have select items there as well. Not sure I understand the business sense of it, but I appreciate adding to the selection. I suspect people go back and back and back and this is a way to keep the regulars always guessing what great new items will be on the menu between their own rotating taps and the other beer selections. Went here in a Friday night and this place is huge! One of the larger breweries I've ever been to. Such an open space with soo many different sections. Their beer option is huge too with well more 20 different kinds. The live music was also great! Highly recommend this place for beer lovers, clubbers, families, literally anyone who wants to have a good time.

"Trendy brewery" right next to the Fairfield black rock train station. Large outdoor area without waiters. A ridiculous amount of beers on tap. They even have a few frozen drinks from machines. Different counter to order food. Everything tasted super fresh especially for a brewery. Vast age difference in the crowd depending on what time your their. Get there before a certain time to avoid paying a cover.

This place is huge. They have a large selection of beers and mixed drinks. The food is good and came out pretty quickly. Family friendly spot.

Was greeted promptly and given the ways of the brewery. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We sat on the patio which was great, as it was a beautiful night. We decided to try 3 appetizers and they were all very good. My favorite was the cauliflower. But all were very good, as was our drinks. Can't wait to come back and bring some friends.

It's the McDonald's of breweries. Very loud. Disinterested staff. Chicken tacos were good if you like carrying a tray of food.

Road trip to Boston…read more.. Needless to say it was a Friday afternoon and traffic was a pain from the start. A quick little yelp search and we had an instant detour for some sustenances, while we let the other motorist continue on their way. Bodega, located in a small little shopping strip, is also small and quaint. Not much wiggle room so be prepared to be neighborly. We arrived half past 4, just in time for HH @ the bar. So we grabbed some seats at the end of the bar where Alex the bartender took care of us. We started with Passionritas (passion fruit margs) and guacamole. Both were equally delish and the guac is bowl licking worthy. However, I do not recommend since you are dinning in public. Lol. In addition we ordered the bodega blistered brussels sprouts and baja tacos to share. The sprouts were an absolute stand out. I opted for the Mexico City Ceasar Salad with Salmon. Presented slightly deconstructed, which didn't take anything away from the great taste. We had an absolute great experience from Alex our bartender whom was very impressionable to Diego (possible manager) whom also made a nice impression. We tried a few more margs before our departure. With the hibiscus being one of my faves. A wonderful spontaneous detour, that will now be a welcomed stop on future road strips north. Just A Note: - HH @ the Bar only (Tues-Fri 4-6pm) - You can take Bodegaritas to-go they have them bottled for sale.

The food and drinks were good, but the experience afterward left a bad impression. While we were eating, a server came by and separated the tables. Near the end of our meal someone who seemed to be in charge asked if I wanted to finish my drink at the bar. It felt like we were being rushed out after a larger party came in. What made it more frustrating was that other tables with the same amount of seating, including a single person at a 4-seat table, were not approached or treated the same way.

We had the 3-course prix fixe lunch special and were delighted with everything we ordered. The first course was a choice between spicy cucumbers or chips & salsa (thumbs up to both). The second course was like a tapa - grilled pork belly for my friend and a shrimp salad tostada for me. Yummy! Then we both had ropa vieja for the third course - deliciously seasoned meat with rice and black beans on the side. Everything was fresh and tasty. The prix fixe was a good deal and a great way to sample various dishes. I hope to return soon and try more of the food at Malibu!

I tried to push it aside at first but after coming here more frequently I can't shake the weird vibes. What bothered me most was what happened when my ID was checked. After I handed it over, the manager appeared to spend an excessive amount of time searching for me online instead of scanning it (I've been here many times and they always scan it in the back) It felt far beyond what was necessary to verify my identity and came across as an invasion of privacy. I understand the need to check IDs, but customers should be treated with respect and have their personal information handled appropriately. This experience left me feeling uneasy and unlikely to return.

For small plates, we got the esquites and sweet plantains. The esquites was delicious. For the sweet plantains, they asked if we wanted the crema + queso fresco on the side but it still came on top. Plantains were alright, wasn't loving them though because they were drenched in the toppings. Kale salad was huge! Yummy and fresh. The food came out so quick. I love that they use corn tortillas for the tacos. The pork belly taco was drenched in kimchi, not my favorite but a good cut of pork belly. I like the lamb taco tasted just like a mini lamb gyro. The baja fish taco was my favorite though, it's comes in a huge slab. it was so good I ordered another. I love the chipotle sauce the Baja fish taco comes with too. The music was awesome too, such a vibe. A lot of EDM, felt like all they were missing was a disco ball. Very delicious, would come back.

Convenient for dine in or take out. We found the plantains to be well fried and deliciously sweet. The ribeye quesadilla was good chunks of beef, but while good quality, seemed to lack seasoning. Service was friendly but missed several things in our order. Had to catch before we left we had ordered a drink. Unfortunately did not find out until we got home they had not bagged the dipping sauce for the birria tacos.
