Steven was super knowledgeable and gave us reasonable tips regarding what needs to be repaired and other alternatives for upgrading. He pointed out things like water heater repairs, and mentioned a newer part we can put on the temperature pressure relief valve that would be cheaper in our situation. I like that he told us to call any time after the inspection to revisit any questions we had since it's a lot of take in during his visit. I 100% would request his expertise again. read more

Had elite inspection before the purchase of our new home. Everyone was friendly and they got inspection done in a reasonable amount of time and everyone was patient in answering questions we had about the findings and the report was nicely documented in a pdf for us. Very few problems were found, which felt like a relief at the time. Now that we've lived in the home a few months a few pre-exissues that should have been caught are coming to light. Obvious piles of asbestos insulation were found in a small attic area along with HVAC piping that was completely disconnected, and mold in the laundry room, and a toilet that literally wouldn't flush to name a few things. They seem like generally a nice company to work with, but perhaps quality slipped through the cracks during the busy season. read more

We called Elite and they were able to accommodate an inspection for the next day. This was super important since we had a 5 day inspection contingency. Our inspector, Stephen Davenport was on time and amazing. I would highly recommend him! He was unbelievably thorough. The whole inspection took close to 4 1/2 hours and everyone had mentioned it was a really long time, but being a first time home buyer, I really appreciated it. He went through every single nook & cranny and gave us peace of mind for our potential new home. The report was thorough and detailed. He went over everything verbally and also gave us a physical PDF. He explained things in layman terms so that we could comprehend everything. Stephen gave us his honest opinions on aspects of the home and it actually helped us make a decision to pull out of escrow.
