He took the time via Yelp, message, and even phone to analyze my needs and offered solutions without automatically skyrocketing to the best/priciest brand. My beater is now more enjoyable as I sit in Austin traffic staring at homeless people and gender-questionable "streetwalkers". I recommend him and his services to anyone. While posting about a great experience about another company, I noticed my review on"Elite" was somehow deleted. The overall service was so "sketchy" that it was worth re-posting so others know what to expect from "Elite" . He was recommended by his friend on my neighborhood FB page. I spoke with Roman, who seemed pretty educated about Audio systems. I purchased an under the seat amp / speaker that I wanted him to install, he also sold me door speakers. He called me out of the blue to pick up my car ( I waited for him to get me on schedule and finally gave up), and I was about to leave town. I let him pick up my 4Runner and he said he'd have it back in a couple hours. I left and a family member told me after 2 hours that my car wasn't back, I suddenly started to re-think why I have this stranger my car. I called and texted to see if everything was ok and could not reach him. Of course when you're dealing with a "one man operation" with no real business history, this is concerning. I googled his "business address" and it was a place out in the middle of nowhere, looking close to a small junkyard. ... I finally got a call that my car was dropped off, hours late. When I got back, I tested the audio, I noticed all the wire clippings in my middle counsel. They didn't even clean up after themselves. I also asked him to run my gps and dash cam wires behind the dash, and it wasn't done. I asked him to add wiring so I could order another amp / speaker for the other seat, it would save them some time on the next install... that also wasn't done. I get that my job wasn't huge, but I fell like this really reflects on his character. I paid as much ( even a little higher than a couple actual businesses quoted me for) and the communication and professionalism was completely absent. It's unfortunate because he seems somewhat nice and knowledgeable, but does not know how to communicate with customers. I like to give my business to small / local operations but it's not meant to be a charity payment for "guy next door" kind of service. Being new to running this business, he should charge less and learn what customers expect, then charge more when he's able to fine tune his skills. Roman called me back after my first bad review and he offered to pay for a car wash since they left their clippings (and minimal shoe dirt on the mat) in my car. I offered to try again, as I too run a business and sometimes we drop the ball. I paid his full price on the first install and offered to pay to have him install the next system and try again. He said he'd call me back same day by 5pm...... and folks thats the last I ever heard of him. With service like that, you know that if he causes serious damage to a car or computer system... he will not have the resources to make it right. You pay as much as going through a real business but absorb all the risk and get no customer service. All I know is that he does read the reviews. Hopefully he takes this (and the other reviews that post similar experiences), as a tool to know what he has to work on. My first review was 2-3 star, but since talking to him and trying to give him another chance and he has failed again, 1 star seems fair. Where to start with how awesome the guys at Elite Image are. So before I went to get my subs and amp install I noticed something I bought did smell right. I was scheduled to have Elite install it a week and a half away. I called up and Roman said bring it over for us to test it. Turns out the sub I bought had a burnt coil. Roman then helped me find a mmats 10" and got a custom box built. The install was clean and done correct. I am so glad Roman told me about the mmats subs because that thing booms. Very happy with this install and customer service. Now I am saving up to get my door speakers replaced with better stuff by Roman. read more

These guys are great. It's a bit of a back yard operation, but don't let that color the quality of the work. Great customer service, friendly, easy to talk to and great quality work. Unlike places like best buy that you had to books week out to get an install, they were able to get me in that week. And their price was comparable to theirs I had them put in a new stereo and speakers with back up camera into my wife's vehicle and she's very happy with the work. They solder the wires together rather than use plastic connectors so the connections should all be good. The sound system sounded great, and she loves the new car play screen. They seemed price conscious and want to help you find something in your budget too rather than upsell you. I would absolutely come here again. Support these guys so they can keep building up their shop and business. read more

Here's what will happen when you engage this "pro audio company". Well, let's be honest. It's one guy. His name is Roman. When you get him on the phone to talk about what you want, he's great. He's calm, soft-spoken, even charming. He is clearly very knowledgable, spouting off technical information, jargon, things the average person just won't understand. But he will make you feel comfortable and make you feel like your satisfaction is his highest priority. That's what drew me in, along with wanting to work with somebody local, not a chain or big company, charging inflated prices for mediocre equipment. I called him because I got a new truck, and with most new vehicles, the factory installed systems are pretty much junk. I had a budget (which I ended up exceeding by +30%) but I didn't mind spending just a little extra to make sure I got what I wanted. He assured me that what he would do, would make a world of difference. This is where the problems started. I don't have a background in car audio, so I placed myself in his hands. The last thing he told me when I dropped the truck off was "I won't fail you". As an aside, when I got to his "shop" I almost turned around. It's pretty sketchy. I should have turned around. He apologized about it, and he said that his other shop got shut down but didn't elaborate. I should have listened to my gut when I saw the place. Anyway, I dropped my truck off and he gave me a ride back to my house, which was nice. It was going to take all day, so I couldn't hang around there and basically miss a day of work to get this done. When I got the truck back, I was SO excited to hear my new system! I mean I was REALLY excited. I was ready to rock! I turned it on, turned it up, and I couldn't believe it. It was about 20% louder than they factory system and the sound quality was pretty much the same. I was floored. I'm sure he saw it on my face that I was really disappointed. I told him as much later that day. It's clear to me that he didn't even listen to the factory system to get a reference to what was there before he did the work. I knew there was nothing much I could do about it, and kinda blamed myself for being taken by this guy. But the truth is that he should have listened to my system and realized that what he was doing would me a marginal improvement at best, and told me. He doesn't have a decibel meter, so he doesn't even have the right equipment to do his job thoroughly, but he could have at least listened to it and made a determination, then communicated that to me. He didn't. He and I had a couple of good conversations about it and he seemed genuinely concerned about my satisfaction, as I told him in no uncertain terms that I was NOT happy with what I had just spent a pile of money on. He then offered to refund part of the charge. I accepted this offer. This still left me paying quite a bit for a system that was pretty comparable to what I had, but I was pleased that he offered to do that. He then suggested that I bring it back in so they could try and dial it in a little more to give me more volume (in addition to the partial refund). I took it back and he wasn't there. One of his guys turned the gain up on the amp, giving me more volume. It didn't sound better, but it was louder, which was at least something. But then I got home and realized that there is a constant hiss coming out of the speakers, even when it's not on. I then got a Venmo from him that was about HALF of what he promised me, along with a text message explaining "the deal" that we agreed on, which was totally untrue. We didn't agree on anything other than he was going to refund me a certain amount. In addition to that, he was going to try to make an improvement in how things were "tuned". This is not surgical precision. One of his guys turned the gain on the amp up. I could have done that myself. This young man has a lot to learn about customer service. He also has a lot to learn about life. If you say you're going to do something, do it. Be a man of your word. It will come back to you and your business will grow. You will be successful. What he is doing is stepping over dollars to get to dimes. That business model NEVER works. Roman, I'm sure you're reading this. The irony, is that you were going to give me back a fraction of what I paid, and I was okay with that. I still had to drop a bunch of money on a system that I'm not happy with. Additionally, I WAS going to give you a glowing review because you made an effort, you tried, but then you went back on your word. You deserve to make money and make a living. But people out there deserve to know that you are not a man of your word and you're being petty about a small amount of money that you promised in the first place. I would steer clear of this business. read more

Pretty much was told 320 to install something then after I got ready the price went up and excuses for more money. I used Roman for my door speakers and it's not bad but after this I will never use them again and trust and believe I will never refer them to anyone. Good luck fellas read more

They got my car sounding louder and better than I could imagine for a very reasonable price. They listened to what I wanted and delivered a crisp clean sound exceeding my expectations.
