I am writing this review at the end of a series of projects completed by Elite Rooter on the sewer line of my property. For some background, I own a home that was build in 1971 with cast iron under the foundation and clay tiles running outside to the city main. The age of the house coupled with the root intrusion from our mature trees have caused blockages and loss of service a few times. Elite Rooter performed a series of diagnostics and replacements concluding in our line being fully functional again. -- Diagnostics and Scheduling Daniel from Elite Rooter was responsive and helpful at all points of our repairs and replacements. He diagnosed issues in our lines, helped schedule workers to come for repairs, and facilitated communication. He called to check up on completed work and was always adamant that our problems get fixed. Alfonso at Elite Rooter came in and helped us further when we needed additional work. His expertise, attention to detail, and professional attitude went a long way in caring for me as a customer. He was reasonable with all of his recommendations and he ensured that our line would operate with full capacity. We cannot thank Alfonso enough for his commitment to our happiness. -- Administrative Work Connor and Kaitlin at the Elite Rooter desk helped tremendously with complicated correspondence between myself and my Insurance Claims Adjuster. They listened to my specific needs and responded to many many inquiries from insurance. At all times, they were professional and responsive. -- Rooting I had a tech named Sean who was kind, thorough, and responsive with his work running a rooter through our line. This was necessary at several stages for diagnosis and for giving partial service access when we were backed up. -- Repair Work I saved this section for last. Eloy and Fernando at Elite Rooter were in charge of excavating, digging, replacing pipe, containment, cleanup, pouring concrete, and more. These two worked tirelessly and performed incredibly well. They are both friendly and kind, while also being tremendous workers. With the scope of work completed, I believe that these two are the unsung heroes. We had the drain line from our kitchen sink back up. Contacted Elite and they came out the same day to assessed the issue. A 20' section of 2" drain line was no longer functionally effective. It needed to be replaced, as cleaning attempts were unsuccessful, and would have only been a temporary fix at best - even if cleaning had been possible They discussed the final price, to which I agreed, and we scheduled the work They showed up on time, worked courteously, professionally and efficiently, as well taking care of the mess... all was good After seeing what they had to do for this repair, it was not as complicated as I had imagined... therefore the price seemed excessive I contacted the Service Manager (John) to discuss my feelings. He was very professional and courteous, explaining in detail why/how the price was set. It made sense, though in this day and age, the price of everything seems excessive to me. Nevertheless, I asked that Elite consider what it looked like from my viewpoint, and they did understand In the end, and as a good-faith gesture, I did get a partial refund. Not what I had hoped for, but they were willing to listen, understand and then make a significant, tangible gesture on our behalf They gave us the refund even though we had already paid 100% of the bill In the end, the issue is fixed, and is warranted by Elite for 10 years. We are happy with Elite (though not happy about skyrocketing costs of everything it seems these days) however... we would recommend Elite to anyone needing plumbing services Good people Good work Willing to listen Also, whoever was smart enough to hire John should get a raise, because John is a real asset to their company. Reader's Digest Version: I'd call them again and will recommend them to my friends and family. I used Yelp to locate someone to help on my issue. Elite Rooter responded first with an offer to have a look and see what could be done the following day. Cody showed up on time and ready to jump right in. I had already tried to locate the issue and understood the building well enough to rule out some stuff and he listened and took note of that while continuing to sleuth to a diagnosis. He explained his reasoning and proposed a reasonable solution and cost. He needed to run for a part and was back in 20 mins. He got halfway into the fix and found a need to clean some unexpected stuff up and left it problem fixed and better than he found it. It didn't end there. I had other questions since obviously I had found someone that knew what he was doing... we talked and looked at sinks and toilets and talked drain pipes. Cody T. asked if I minded his supervisor Josh come by just to check the main with a camera gratis and I couldn't say no seeing as I had never checked it and was curious. While Cody and I wrapped up, Josh arrived and was camera ready. Everything checked out, no problems. They were courteous, professional, COVID and cleanliness conscious and worth every penny. We broke a pipe after installing our kitchen sink. We made it worse every time we touched it so I finally bowed down and started calling around for help. Every place we called never called us back or scheduled a time but pulled the rug at the last minute. Elite Rooter was the first company that actually had someone on the other end who picked up instead of a machine. Everyone at Elite Rooter was extremely helpful from the start. They were able to accommodate our schedule and showed up on time at our earliest convenience. The customer service is phenomenal. Cody was very friendly and professional. He immediately had a plan upon looking at my mess and talked us through what he was planning on doing. He was able to fix everything with no issue. We have a bar downstairs that was basically unusable because it kept getting backed up. We have had 3 plumbers come to look at it. One of the plumbers put a camera down there and said a flap was closed. We asked them to come fix it. They never came back. We finally called Elite Rooter after doing some online research for an advanved plumber because we knew it wasn't just a clogged drain. They came out within an hour. Christian was really nice and professional. He knew that he needed to see what was in the pipe. He called John for assistance. John put a camera down there and saw what appeared to be a ball. John knew then and couldn't believe that someone had left a test ball in there. We wanted it fixed, so they had to cut out concrete, cut the pipe and sure enough it was a test ball. Our technicians, Isaiah and Peter, we're both very helpful, they fixed the second toilet and replaced and installed our new bit water heater. They were polite, answering all the questions we had and explain the process of putting in the new heater and replacement parts for the toilet. They both cleaned up and insured the repairs and replacement was working properly and assisted with contact with a good restoration company to insure any damage from the old water heater would not cause any medical issues. They also documented all the work and paperwork necessary for any insurance claims. I highly recommend them both and will use the company for any work needed. Dario and Cole arrived on time, were professional and had great attitudes the entire time. They treated my home like it were on of their own. My home, built in 1923 had a very difficult main line system, Dario and Cole did a great job troubleshooting where the clog might be in the system. They eventually had to get into a very tight crawlspace to get better access to the system. Our home had two clean outs, one located outside, and the other was found by Dario and Cole in the crawl space. They treated me with respect and made sure I was comfortable along the way. I had a lot of requests, and they were happy to accommodate every one of them. Dario and Cole were really transparent the entire time, these guys truly went above and beyond, great work! read more

Had a septic system backup. Elite was able to come out that same day (other services were not going to be able to come out for 4 or 5 days). They cleared it right out. They ran a camera through the line and found some areas of future blockage (we knew about this a few years ago). The solution was to replace the septic line outside of the house. Again, they were able to get right on it. Gerardo was the primary person on the job. I felt that he was very diligent and was not satisfied until the job was done right. This company rocks (in San Diego) and Omar is The Prince of Plumbing! I called at 8 am in the morning for a bathtub full if sludge (yuck) -- They asked me if between 10-noon would work: yes! Omar was available earlier and was there by 9:30 am (hallelujah!). He took care of business, cleared the line, installed a more accessible P-trap/cleanout and the water ran clear and the clog was gone! Most shocking? The reasonable bill! From a PLUMBER!! I used Thumbtack to find a company that could perform a sewer scope and clean out any existing roots. Elite Rooters called/responded right away and were able to come out later that same day. Actually had two techs come out, both were friendly, down to earth, and curious to figure out how to help. They presented a couple of different options for a longer-term fix. Even though I wasn't able to hire them immediately for the long-term solution, they were understanding and didn't push me. I'll definitely call them again when I'm able to do the full sewer pipe replacement. read more

We have had our garbage disposal replaced multiple times but still experienced back ups that would cause huge leakage out of the bottom of our kitchen sink. Turns out the disposal may not have been the problem at all. We called Elite Rooter and Cody T. came to investigate the back up. We had grease buildup in the pipes and had to have a power wash of sorts to clear out the old gunk. We we're not sold on a whole bunch of services we did not need, and believe we have finally fixed the problem. Very professionally and friendly, would recommend. read more

Had a main sewer line backup and contacted elite rotor they came out cleaned the line and showed video footage of existing root problems in my line this has been the best service I have had out to my house in the last 10 years I would recommend their service and company to anyone who is having any plumbing problems. Our technician was Danny and he was very nice, professional and fixed our leaking/flooding water valve. It did take him all day long and he had to leave four times to get more parts and correct parts and another part was defective. It's too bad his company could not give him the correct supplies to start out with in his big utility van. I had the shut off valve in my house replaced as well as the copper line the previous owner ran to the fridge for water. During minor renovations, we had to move the fridge which caused the copper line to break. Now I have a proper set up with a shut off valve behind the fridge and a braided line to run from the valve to the fridge. 8/10/20 Flooding in basement, shopped around/checked reviews/called 3 places/estimates. Went with Elite. Broken/rusted out drain in the basement with 25 feet of rusted out pipe. Yesterday we had a clog in one of our pipes leading to our pumping station. I called Elite and they were so efficient. Cody called me to get a better understanding of the issue and came right out. Problem was resolved, but he felt that there were some underlying issues remaining. So, his manager came out and used a camera to get a better idea.
