Had a pair of uniform trousers hemmed and patches sewn on a coat. Excellent work, great pricing, and fast service.

Beware of their services!…read more We had a pair of men's linen pants dry cleaned here. There was a stain on it. When I picked up the pants, the stain was gone but now there was a faded big spot in it and it looked like the area was thinner due to the chemicals used. When I spoke with the husband to try to explain our concern, he said it was worn out from sitting. The pants are not that old and the spot is NOT where the buttox hits to sit down. He started LAUGHING and said it was funny. I told him this is not a laughing matter. These are expensive men's linen pants. He said he was done talking about and walked away. This was very disrespectful and no way to deal with customers. Spring the wife was no help shaking her head and her voice was raised. I told her I was just the messenger and to not raise voices. The men's pants are ruined and they deny any responsibility. Beware of this place. I've referred friends to them and they have not been happy with the alterations either and will not come back. I should have listened to them.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Xuan. I brought in my wedding dress, needing major…read morealterations. It was too big, I wanted sleeves that didn't originally exist, and I hoped to add lace detailing to the front. I went to SOOO many other places that were telling me a ridiculous cost and how they couldn't do one thing or another. Xuan not only said she could do it, but she absolutely exceeded every expectation. She transformed my dress into exactly what I had envisioned. The sleeves she created looked like they were part of the original design, the fit was perfect after they took it in significantly, and the lace they added in the front made the whole gown feel even more elegant and personal. Her attention to detail was truly impressive. Xuan was really kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating throughout the process. She went above and beyond to make sure my dress was perfect for my big day, and even dry and spot cleaned it. I'm so grateful for her! I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for flawless, trustworthy, and skilled alterations. My dress turned out better than I ever dreamed!

Leaving the review purely based on the lack of customer service…read more My wife was calling around to obtain some quotes on minor alterations, and the representative picking up the phone simply replied: "We don't do quotes, we've been open 45 years." I guess they have enough customers and aren't interested in new business ‍

Avoid this shop of horrors! If this place were a restaurant, they would've been shut down…read more I support local businesses and want them to succeed. I do not support local businesses ruining unsuspecting customers' merchandise, having to pay exorbitant prices for their incompetent work, and being yelled at on a perfectly beautiful day for pointing out that the work was not done properly. I should've listened to the long stream of negative reviews that sounded unbelievable. What a mistake. My experience ended up being unbelievable and **cost ME $140** for terrible work and a terrible experience. They ruined a perfectly beautiful pair of custom-made pajama tops and refused to take proper responsibility for it. The simple order I placed was to add a button hole at the top of each of two gorgeous custom-made organic cotton pajamas with piping to better fit my petite size. At pick up they handed me a butchered pair of pajama tops, each with indeed a new buttonhole, but with shockingly terrible frayed stitching in a mismatched color threading different from all the other buttonholes. On top of that, the spacing between the new buttonholes they had made was completely different and shorter than all of the even spacing for all of the other button holes. When I pointed out this work was not acceptable, instead of acknowledging or apologizing about this obviously terrible workmanship that anyone else could see with their eyes, the seamstress started yelling at me and declared to me and proclaimed that I don't need the same matching color threading, it's going to be hidden behind a button, what's the problem. She then continued to holler that now no other color threading can be used because the hole will just get bigger and render the pajamas unusable, so I should just take them. And that is my fault? And why is she yelling. I took a deep breath and calmly insisted she ask another tailor to do something by hand in the correct thread color. The spacing was done incorrectly, but at least the color could be corrected? I said I could pay for the other items I had on the order on the same ticket because I needed them. She then fiercely and rather aggressively snapped, no, you cannot take any of them, you have to keep them all here until you pick up the other two pajama tops you want redone. This second part is not a quality of work issue, this is a personality issue. Being spiteful and unprofessional on top of being incompetent is quite the trifecta. Save yourself a trip to this bizarre shop of horrors. After being yelled at, the other calmer person at this shop walks out to me while I'm already seated in my car. She hands the two pajama tops back to me and says essentially, we cannot do this work, it cannot be redone. I am waiting for this vendor to reimburse me $140 for the perfectly beautiful pair of custom tailored pajamas they ruined. It took 3 weeks to get these pajamas from E. Europe to wear in the very short weeks of spring we have here. By the time I order another 2 pairs, it will be very hot and I won't be able to wear them until next year. As for the bizarre spiteful personality and dys regulated yelling, I hope this seamstress can do some breathing exercises and learn to act civil, since expecting customer service from this person would be unrealistic. Simply put, this place is a disaster and not fit to be called a tailor shop. I can sew better than this and I don't operate a con shop of a store. As far as I'm concerned, the store is running a fraudulent business even calling themselves a tailor shop. The consumer protection office should be investigating this place. I feel sorry for the other reviewers who paid hundreds of dollars getting even more expensive items altered to a dismal subpar result. I placed several tailoring orders I didn't really need, including this order, to simply give them more business. This was a trial run error before I ordered much bigger custom drapery request. What a mistake it was even putting in this small trial order. A complete fail.

Great work and even better customer service! I love to support local, family owned businesses so…read morewhen i needed my bridesmaid dress altered, i came across this place! My dress needed the straps to be shorter and my slit was sewed since it was rather high. I also added sleeves to my dress and she did an amazing job! With the extra fabric, she offered to make two pocked squares as well. My sister and I had a very small window in which we needed alterations for her bridesmaid suit and my dress. They got them BOTH done so fast and the work was incredible. Aside from the work, they have great customer service which seems to be hard to come by these days. Highly recommend this place! Would definitely return. More info on cost: I paid $138 for the slit to be sewed, straps to be shorter, added sleeves, plus two pocket squares. My sisters alterations to her suit were nearly the same amount

I brought two old short sleeve shirts in for very small repairs but the owner grimaced and remarked…read moreabout how horribly they were damaged. "How did this ever happen??!", noticing a buttonhole that needed a small amount of repair. She automatically took the shirts and hung them up on her to-do rack making it somewhat uncomfortable for me to say thanks, but no thanks. It was then I wanted to know how much the bill would be, and she replied $24. I then grabbed the shirts off of her rack and bid her a good day. I have seen this same tactic used at different types of repair shops where the owner overly dramatizes what needs to be done and takes possession of the item prior to discussing the charge or getting approval. In sales that's called the assumptive close, where they act as though they assume you will approve the work and pay their price for the very minimal effort required. Don't fall for it. I have just now received a response from the lady's husband indicating that I must have visited a different shop and mistakenly thought I was in theirs. Absolutely not possible as I've been in several times in the past. Perhaps showing the shirts will refresh her memory and also defend my own. For full disclosure, the green shirt does have a small half-inch rip on the back side.
