Wow - what a tremendous find. While staying in the Sunrise area for business I was overwhelmed by the typical box restaurant choices. So glad Yelp pointed me to Embarcadero. Maria welcomed me and show me to a table. She recommended that I start with the house white sangria and homemade Canchitas. After a humid South Florida day, this was a treat. I then ordered the Acevichado Roll. It was their perfect mix of flavors with just the right amount of sauce. From there I looked to Maria for recommendations. She let me know that true aficionados of this food will order Timbal de Camarones. What a treat this ceviche like dish was. Perfectly marinated thin slices of shrimp, octopus, and sea bass. My visit to Embarcadero was something special and I can't wait until my travels provide me the opportunity to visit again. read more

Our meal was superb! We ordered ceviche, anticucho, tequenos, lomo saltado, their risotto, tacu tacu, and many other dishes. Don't be afraid to try any item on their menu as everything is just amazing. We ended our meal with the creme brulee and chocolate cake and even dessert was delicious. Service was excellent - you can tell this is a family run restaurant and they really want to ensure that you are treated as family as well. The restaurant is very hip and has outdoor seating as well. The Ambiance is good and the place was very clean, service was just ok! They were very cordial, but it seems they were inexperienced or they don't pay close attention to detail. we ordered the ceviche mixto, I came very basic 99% of the time they would ask you how would you like it (medium or spicy) so after it came to the table we had to ask her to bring us some Chile so we could make it spicy then the Sushi roll ( Acevichado) was delivered and once again without any soy sauce or wasabi. Btw a Great Roll, We again had to ask her an it was not a busy day,either. We also had two Cusqueña beers! On our way home from Miami to Boca Raton, we stopped by here for dinner. I ordered the chiviche and it was delicious! I love lemons and this meal was filled with lemoney flavor. I also like the octopus that was in the meal. With the lemon it was soooo.... tasty. My husband enjoyed his beef tenderloin. We were able to eat outside. Since my husband is immunocompromised, we still had to take Covid-19 precautions, so that was accommodating. There was convenient parking right outside the restaurant. Our waiter was excellent. We definitely will return the next time we are coming home from Miami. read more

The food was average but what shocked us was the charge of $9 for a still water. I ordered a wine and it was less than half of a full wine glass for $12. I've been there couple of times but not going back. I've been to a lot of Peruvian restaurants same or better quality food but never had this kind of experience. Food was very good quality all around, not just today but since they open. My nephew had acevichado roll and chicharon de pollo con papas, amazing according to him (14 years old) and I believed because is not the first time he ordered Me to start ceviche mixto and arroz con mariscos, insane. Mmm, so good N tasty. At the end of course dessert "crocante de lucuma" OMG. Amazing! A must! This restaurant has something for everyone! Came here on a Friday night without a reservation and it was packed so we opted for the bar seating. Its not really a bar just a long table that faces a wall. For appetizers we ordered the Tequenos Lomo and while it was really good they had to rush it out to us because I believe the waiter forgot about it and it burned me with the hot oil. The other food was amazing. I opted for a roll and man was it a lot I could only eat half. This is a good location to share with someone, since the food is pretty heavy. The Lomo was also very tasty and not salty at all. Definitely recommend to go here, but go with a reservation if possible!!! read more

Fresh & well made Peruvian eats at Embarcadero 41. It has been open about a month and half now. It's a Peruvian Asian fusion restaurant. They serve traditional Peruvian dishes as well as sushi rolls and poke bowls. They're located in a plaza with sufficient parking. It has nice lighting with a simple sleek contemporary decor. Service was welcoming and helpful. Stopped in for lunch. After reviewing the menu, I selected the Trio Marinero (seafood trio). This lunch dish comes with chicharron de pulpo (fried calamari), ceviche de pescado (fish ceviche), and arroz de mariscos (seafood rice). Everything was fresh and delicious. But the fried calamari was exceptional. I'd go back just for this. I dare say it's one of the best I've ever had. So perfectly tender and the light crunchy batter paired with the pickled tangy red onions, yum. The ambiance & the food were highly enjoyable. I never imagine the Peruvian cuisine has grown more in the USA in the last decade bringing tradition and customs to the Latin community to enjoy it. I am not a big fan of seafood in general but the taste of the fishes how the presentation looks. Ring into my eye the appetite to try different things that embarcadero 41 offers. I recommend pescado a lo macho with the oriental sauce, and the other style that the restaurant offer. Also the octopus a la parilla smells so good and the taste is incredible. The chirimoya dessert perfect with an expresso it is a good choice and the cream boule delicious. The decoration and the is beautiful. It makes the environment a fun place to enjoy. When I come again to Miami. Embarcadero 41 will be my spot. My wife and I took some photos for others to see and gone to this place. I came here on a Wednesday around 2:15 pm. I was surprised when I was pulling up to see that there were people standing outside the restaurant. The restaurant is located inside a plaza but I never have I been here and noticed the crowd. I walked in and lucky enough for us there was a table for two available. The restaurant was super full. I was happy because I came during my lunch break and I had limited time. When we got seated our waiter Sebastian came right over. He was super friendly and he was really attentive. We ordered right away. To start we had the fried yuca, then as our main course we decided to share a fish ceviche with the yellow spicy sauce and we also had a tuna causa. The food came out as it was ready so we started with the ceviche. The sauce was so good that I asked for a spoon in order to be able to eat the dish. I loved the portion and the fish was fresh and delicious. Then came the yuca. You can never go wrong with the fried yuca that was one of my mom's favorite. They came out hot and crispy and the sauce was perfect to give it a fresh taste. Lastly we finished with the tuna causa. It was perfect to finish the meal. The potato was soft and fluffy the tuna was fresh and salty and it was perfect with the fresh avocado and fried fish on top. This place is awesome. read more

Pisco Sour is normally a signature drink at Peruvian restaurants but this establishment does not have it, nor any other drinks other than beer and Sangria. We ordered the mixed Ceviche appetizer and it was good but we had better. The portion was pretty small. The chicken rice taste a little burnt. It's quite a small restaurant and the kitchen is right there. Not only do you smell like food when leaving but the servers rush you out too so they can turn table around. We were there on a Saturday around 6:00 p.m. We ate and asked for the check. We paid the bill and my son asked to use the restroom. I was chatting with my daughter while waiting for hubby and my son to come back from the bathroom. Server came up and asked if we can wait outside as they needed the table. I thought that was very rude. Another 2 mins isn't going to hurt anyone. I will not be returning as I did not think the food and service was anything good. read more

Came here for dinner after a long day shopping at Sawgrass. Shopping here sucks so you definitely need to treat yourself with a good meal after. We wanted to check out the Korean place a few stores down but they were randomly closed so Embarcadetro it was! This place was absolutely jumping on a Saturday around 6 pm and we snagged the last outside table. I prefer dining al fresco right now anyway because of COVID but it was brutally hot out there. In any other circumstance I'd say definitely sit inside but it's tiny and there is zero social distancing ability so keep that in mind. We started off with the octopus appetizer which was super amazing. I don't know what kind of sauce it was in but I wanted to slurp it up with a straw. 10/10, get this appetizer! My daughter ordered a sushi roll as her meal which came out super fast and was the equivalent of two rolls anywhere else. I thought this was a good light meal and a bargain at $17. After my daughter's sushi arrived we waited quite a while for our other entrees. In fact she was done eating (and you know kids eat slow!) and we still didn't have our meals. I'm not sure if they put the sushi in as an appetizer but the wait was a bit long for dinner. Now on to the entrees... My son ordered the risotto which was delicious but I tried a piece of his steak and it was over cooked and a bit chewy. Our server recommended a rice dish with shrimp and calamari which was good but not amazing. The menu also had a quinoa creme brûlée. I'm a creme brûlée fanatic. A stan if you will. It's my favorite dessert and if I see it on a menu I will typically get it. But that quinoa was throwing me off. In the end I decided to go for it and I'm glad I did! It was delicious and while I did see a few quinoa pearls in the bottom it wasn't very much. I'm not sure what the point of it being in there was but again it didn't ruin the dessert by any means. Being here is like coming home. Every member of the staff is great - kind and helful - which is a testament to the caring and nurturing nature of the manager, Guayo. The food is exquisite. There's nothing we've had that we haven't liked - arroz chaufa, carretillero, ceviche rocoto or classic, pulpo, jalea, etc - you can't go wrong. I recently made it there around lunch time, and we got these great lunch specials, which include three items for under $20. It was peffect. Get the white sangria, and save room for dessert. Came in here at the recommendation of a family member I was hanging with and started off with a sangria that was very flavorful and delicious. Got me ready for my food which then followed with the Causa da Atun y Chicharron de Pescado which were both delicious and pretty filling for appetizers. I had intended on getting a meal behind those being that we were sharing it but after a second sangria I was surprisingly comfortable enough to walk away from another player. Favorable enough portions to move on with. The establishment was nice with outdoor seating and the service was great too so no complaints there either. We happened to be staying at a hotel in walking distance to this gem of a restaurant. The place was packed on Sunday at 5pm. The atmosphere was lively and fun, the decor was great. We started off with two appetizers the Tigre leche which I highly recommend to go with the $16 dollar option over the $12 as there is double the juice and includes the fried calamari which was excellent as it soaked in that wonderful ceviche. We decided to get our trio ceviche with seafood mixed with corvina fish. Absolutely wonderful one was traditional lime, one had lime and Chile notes the other had lime and citrus notes everything was so good we drank the juice. The whole snapper was a great choice to eat along with the ceviche as the rich Peruvian style sauce on the red snapper balanced out the acidity of the ceviche. The snapper was fried perfectly, the sauce was outstanding. The passion fruit juice was natural and absolutely delightful, I cannot wait until, I find this level of ceviche in Michigan. The service was efficient and outstanding knowing Spanish is not essential but definitely useful when eating here. read more
