We happened to be staying at a hotel in walking distance to this gem of a restaurant. The place was packed on Sunday at 5pm. The atmosphere was lively and fun, the decor was great. We started off with two appetizers the Tigre leche which I highly recommend to go with the $16 dollar option over the $12 as there is double the juice and includes the fried calamari which was excellent as it soaked in that wonderful ceviche. We decided to get our trio ceviche with seafood mixed with corvina fish. Absolutely wonderful one was traditional lime, one had lime and Chile notes the other had lime and citrus notes everything was so good we drank the juice. The whole snapper was a great choice to eat along with the ceviche as the rich Peruvian style sauce on the red snapper balanced out the acidity of the ceviche. The snapper was fried perfectly, the sauce was outstanding. The passion fruit juice was natural and absolutely delightful, I cannot wait until, I find this level of ceviche in Michigan. Everything here is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. That lomo saltado might be the best I've ever had, and I've had a lot of those bc it's my favorite dish ever. It also had a twist because it came with plantains and a fried egg, and it just really added to how revolutionary this meal was. I'm already having dreams about when I can go have it again. Came in here at the recommendation of a family member I was hanging with and started off with a sangria that was very flavorful and delicious. Got me ready for my food which then followed with the Causa da Atun y Chicharron de Pescado which were both delicious and pretty filling for appetizers. I had intended on getting a meal behind those being that we were sharing it but after a second sangria I was surprisingly comfortable enough to walk away from another player. Favorable enough portions to move on with. The establishment was nice with outdoor seating and the service was great too so no complaints there either. Excellent Peruvian tasting food for the whole family. Fast and knowledgeable server answered questions. I enjoyed the Chicha Morada, Yuca with salsa de Huancaina (I would have preferred a little more spicy). Main course I made the right choice, Arroz Carretillero warm silky cheesy Spanish rice cooked with shrimps dish topped with fresh fried calamari and red onions. So good. I agree with most of the reviews. The food is delicious! Service was really good. They have several employees working there so there's always someone nearby should you need anything. The place is super cute inside. Four stars because the meat on my dish was a little too chewy for my taste but the flavor was yummy. No room for dessert. We will for sure come back soon! By far one of the best restaurants in Weston/Sunrise area. If you're looking for the best ceviche or Peruvian food then have to give this place a try! Located in the shopping complex next to IKEA, it's super convenient and accessible. It's a smaller restaurant so make sure you make a reservation because it's always packed( and for good reason) I first went with my best friend and we had their ceviche, sushi and poke bowls. All were phenomenal. We did have to wait a little bit for food but that's expected when it's super packed and things are made fresh when ordered. This place is so good I brought my brother who's from out of town here and he highly impressed. This time we ordered their famous octopus appetizer and OH my goodness was it was delicious, hands down the best octopus I've ever had, super tender and seasoned well. I would HIGHLY recommend this dish. I also tried their rice with seafood and again another great dish which I had to take home for because the serving was huge and can I say it heats up very well for lunch the next day so win win! We also had their chef special appetizer which was also delicious. After shopping at IKEA we were looking for a place to grab lunch. We checked in with Yelp and were delighted to find the highly regarded Embarcadero in the shopping center right next door. We ordered fried Calamari with Yuca, Ceviche Mixto and Trio Pescador. We also enjoyed a Chardonnay - they only have one choice but it was good - and a great Peruvian beer that was recommended by our server. All of the food was delicious. Last night was our third time in this place! And this time they really earned our 5 stars Yelp review. The only downside I'd say is space. They will quickly need additional space to accommodate all their guests. What a nice problem to have right ? Get them and order a side of tartara sauce with it. You won't regret it. Pulpo Anticuchero: best dish by far. Octopus was tender, not chewy AT ALL. Not every restaurant get this right, so kudos to the chef. Great flavor too. Inka Maki Roll (not sure if this is the name): great combo of tempura shrimp, salmon, cream cheese and passion fruit. I had never noticed it while driving by, but my cousin recommended it after having stopped by for lunch a few times and I have to say this restaurant was excellent. Everything from the presentation to the taste of the food was on point! The quality of the food was top notch but it was still a very chill atmosphere. We had a party of 10 and everyone ordered something different, and it all looked delicious. I shared 2 sushi rolls: the teriyaki entraña and the maki parrillero. Both were so good! I also tried the pulpo anticuchero which was this beautifully tender grilled octopus There were so many other things on the menu that sounded good so I would love to return to try them. The service was great but they serve their water in copper wine glasses so as a person who drinks a lot of water, I did have to keep asking them to refill because they could not tell when my glass was empty. Aside from that, they were very attentive and quick with every request. Our server told us that they get very busy most nights (the restaurant is not that big even after their recent expansion) so during the week it's best to make a reservation but they don't take them on weekends. Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The staff is friendly, accommodating and smiling at all times. The food is simply delicious and the place itself is casual with great lighting and just a fun place to have lunch/dinner at. We came on a Sunday for a late lunch/early dinner, it seemed to be very busy but we were able to get outside sitting right away. I was a little worried about the heat but the fans outside actually helped and it was comfortable enough to enjoy dinner with my family. They were able to quickly accommodate my son and get him a high chair. We started off with red sangrias which were cooling and refreshing. For starters we shared the anticuchos de lomo fino. It was very juicy and not chewy like some anticuchos can be. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered a causa de tuna as my entrée. I liked that it brought avocado on top and some fried fish with onions. My husband ordered the arroz con pato. The rice was like a rice that comes with arroz con pollo (green made with cilantro). It was really good! Overall, I liked everything we ordered.
