Let me start by saying I work on cars on the side. I purchased a 2015 Lexus rx350 120k miles from them at the beginning of the year took it out and ran it a bit everything appeared to be sound so I thought!! Bought the car 18k plus didn't even make it home and the low tire pressure light popped on turns out they cleared all the codes before I bought it takes a bit of driving before coming back on!! 350.00 for new tire sensors. After driving for a few days noticed the coolant level was dropping cracked radiator 300.00 and I installed while replacing the radiator I pulled the plastic cover off of the engine and found a rats nest and chewed wires!! I also noticed a slight shudder thank god that was only a transmission service 300.00 I did the work next I was told my center brake light was out so bought a new one didn't fix it turns out the rat found his way inside the spare tire bay and made his way up above into the headliner. Not only did the little bastard eat the center brake light wires but also the satellite antenna and both rear seatbelt straps. Also the brakes were down to almost nothing another 350.00 I installed. I called them up about the seatbelts this is a serious safety issue they told me they will talk to the owner and get back to me still waiting!! I've since bought used seatbelts at 150.00 each and installed them. All cars are not going to be perfect this I understand but these guys are pros at covering up issues and dodging responsibility!! Would I recommend buying from them again tough question no if you want a turn key car. Just be prepared to spend a couple grand servicing it after you get it home.They polish there cars up and from what I found no repairs or maintenance. read more

Would give negative stars if possible. This place is bad news for people of color and folks without deep pockets. I was chased by a staff member for many blocks in what appeared to be a company vehicle and he purportedly called the police on me without cause, just yesterday. It was a deeply traumatic experience wherein I feared for my life. I was on foot and he drove, and from that car he called me a "n*gger." The staff member in question was pudgy, with a noticeable beer belly, about 5'9", and somewhat tan with a smallish nose. I had asked politely to use the restroom and was given explicit permission from the fella, who was on staff. Then I used their restroom, washed my hands and prepared to leave. The same person who admitted me to use the facilities seemed perplexed as I was making my way out and said "That's it?". I said "Yeah, I can't really afford a motor vehicle." I had not made any promise of purchase when I asked to use the facilities. I had been clearly communicative, and the notion that I was beholden to purchasing a sports car was--and is--absurd. I continued to leave though he rose from his desk and followed me out the door. He asked me the following questions (which I declined to answer): "Who are you?" and "Are you from around here?". I was quite disturbed already since violent crime rates have been rising in Seattle. Knowing my rights, I continued to walk down the street as he yelled "Get over here" at me repeatedly. He then continued to pursue me on foot as I turned the corner, and I was so frightened as to break into a run. He was on his phone. I sought help and acknowledgement from passers-by, who seemed sympathetic, though there were few and their powers were limited. I continued to jog down the street, fearing he might be armed. After many blocks, I found myself nearly at the stadium district and assumed he would have given up the pursuit. He pulled up to me in the aforementioned vehicle, falsely claiming I had stolen though I had only used his restroom with permission from him explicitly given. He said "I got you, n*gger; the cops are on their way." And, as I continued to walk he continually drove in my direction and reparked next to me. I said "Don't pull out a gun," repeatedly affirming that it was not a justifiably escalatable situation, and he responded "Let's go." Fearing death at the hands of a madman, I sprinted to the first bus I could catch and did not return. Do not give these racists your business unless you hate freedom. That guy needs to be fired before he hurts someone and gets the place shut down or himself in jail. read more

So disappointed, gave these guys multiple occasions to make things right. I bought 2014 bmw x550, it came two quarts low on oil (stated it had oil change ) and then 700 miles later 6 coils go out . And top it off the 900 dollar key Fob won't read. Out thousands. I asked them to help with some of these costs since it happened so quickly and they gave me run around. I would not recommend buying from this dealer. They do not disclose to the buyer the problems that their vehicles have. They sold me a junky vehicle. They sold me a truck and failed to disclose that it had a rear main seal leak. This is thousands of dollars to fix. The mechanic that I got my truck checked out by recommended me driving the truck till it dies before wasting money fixing the rear main seal due to the repair being SO COSTLY. The truck also needed new tie rods and suspension work that came out to 1,000 dollars. PROBABLY THE BIGGEST ISSUE: they sold me a 1 ton pickup truck with SUV tires on it. I didn't discover this until I was getting the suspension work fixed on this truck. Les Schwab said this was a huge safety issue and were surprised that a dealer would sell a vehicle in that state. Extra 600 bucks down the drain to buy new tires for my truck after taking it off the lot. When I showed back up to collect the car he said that they checked it all out when I was waiting to get it towed back out I walked into there shop and asked there guys if this car had ever been checked out and they all said it never moved! sold me a car that broke down 3 days later and left me on the side of the freeway until 4am. Then, redid the paperwork, changed my purchase date and mileage by a thousand so my warranty would be active. Not only is this fraud, but false advertising as it was listed as recently serviced and no mechanical issues. After the warranty turned out invalid, they made me return my rental (first of two I was in which also broke down while driving) leave me without an answer, forged my signature and towed my vehicle from my house (with no trespassing signs visible) and suddenly Carlos and the manager were never in and would not answer their phones. After driving 45 minutes downtown Seattle 8 times, the manager and owner refused to show their face or call me back. Finally, I got a portion of my down payment back but they withheld the unauthorized tow and made me pay a $200 cleaning fee. Comes to find out, two days later that same 2006 Mercedes 230 is back up for sale, "the nicest one of its kind, great first car, and no mechanical issues" as listed on their site and Facebook ads. Also, the copy of the car fax on the website doesn't list I ever bought the car or put miles on it. Buyers beware - I will be in touch with better business and local news outlets. I purchased three vehicles from Emerald city motorsports. A Volvo for my mom. She loves all the power options and heated seats in the winter. I also chose a Chevy pick up for my business and get me money's worth out of it. It's been a good work horse for two years now. They made sure it was serviced before I bought it. My favorite car is the 750 BMW I bought in 2018. :) Tons of tech gadgets that my sales associate Carlos knew well cause he loves his job and his knowledge of high end autos is amazing. Gunna get an SUV soon and I already have Carlos looking for a VW Touareg V8 for me. I sent my nephew there for his first car and they helped him get a loaded ford focus start car last year. Let me start off by saying Brian, the little Caucasian dude, big time fast talker, he will definitely make you feel at home to get you to sign all the paperwork. So I purchased a Audi less than a month ago. After signing papers he said I forgot to tell you the car hasn't been serviced yet "but YOU can call Gloria's garage and they will service it for you free of charge" umm wtf! I take the car in because car hasn't had an oil change in lord knows how long. Fast forward 2 days later the check engine light and oil light comes on at the same time. Not sure how the oil light came on being I just had an oil change 2 days ago. I call Brian they say "he is with a customer I will have him call you back" . I hear NOTHING! So I email him because I know he will see my emails as he has to open his computer while "with a customer" I let him know the problems I'm having with the car he says I will get back with you about the problem you are having. 2 weeks later I have yet to hear anything from this dude. I have not been driving the car as I think it is unsafe. I just sent him another email asking Could I trade this bucket in for another car as I don't think this car will last another month. Haven't heard anything back from him. This place is very unprofessional! I would NOT recommend them and stay away from their BMWS. I called to follow up and I found out that the car was sold out from under me. To back up a little bit, I had tried to contact my salesman, earlier this week. I couldn't reach him for 3 days. His explanation was that his phone had been dead. Even this morning, he said to give him a call and that he would email me the purchase order and sale agreement. When I called this evening, he informed me that the car had been sold. We bought a vehicle and after we bought it, it started having problems. We took it to a mechanic and even got a 2nd opinion from another source and the report said the transmission had major problems and needs replaced. EMC didn't disclose this problem nor gave a car fax even though we asked for one. Carlos quickly closed the deal and we trusted him that everything was fine taking fair wear and tear and no major issues. Now that we brought this issue up, they said they will take a trade in value of $3000 but we have to purchase another car from their inventory. We did this and this time we paid for a professional mechanic for a full evaluation. Except for a few minor issues, we decided to take the another vehicle. Carlos shook our hands and proceeded with the paper work in the back office and after a long while he came back and said his boss said No Deal.. We could not have this particular vehicle. We have to pick another. This was another disappointment. After agreeing to let us do a trade in and stipulating that we have to pick any vehicle from their lot, EMC now says No after we agree to the sticker price that is on the vehicle. He even shook our hands and congratulated us. This brings me to another dishonest and distrustful situation. Don't trust EMC Seattle.. They have no integrity. If this car was not for sale, why put it for sale in advertisement and as well as on the car in the lot.. We offered the price on the car.. This is false advertisement as well or even discrimination. How would one feel if you went into a shop and picked a watch that is for sale and after trying it on and testing if it works etc and told that you can't buy this watch but you can pick another! read more
