    Breakfast Skillet ($9.99)
    Chris V.

Surprisingly solid eats at a small local casino? Count me in! Emerald Island Grille, an Irish-themed spot with American food, is the 24/7 restaurant of Emerald Island Casino in Downtown Henderson. It piqued my interest that they take coupons from the casino which you can earn by signing up for their players' club. Upon gambling enough to earn their welcome gift, which was a bunch of coupons, I picked up a same-day voucher at their players' card desk and redeemed it for the Breakfast Skillet (listed at $9.99). With home fries-style potatoes, a scrambled/omelet-like egg canopy, melted cheese, bacon bits, and diced onions and green peppers, this is a really hearty breakfast. Just dig in and keep going until you're either done or feel like maybe you need to save half as leftovers. My choice of side with that breakfast was the biscuits and gravy, and it wasn't the best. The gravy came out a bit lukewarm and the whole thing was a little undersalted somehow, and the portion is smaller than you'd think for a cheap dish. I tried the toast instead on a separate visit, and it was not as mediocre. Oh, and the wedge of watermelon was fine. The casino started mailing coupons to me for free select entrees on specific calendar weeks. This week, they had a Blackened Fresh North Atlantic Salmon Asian Salad (inexplicably priced at $7.00). The protein was a very nicely cooked salmon filet with a decent level of blackening. The bed of mixed greens was fresh, the sweet citrus-y dressing was good, and the tiny mandarin supremes were a fun pop of flavor. If they'd offered maybe some sort of baguette slices instead of just crispy wontons, it could've been a more complete entree. I still liked it though. As with restaurants at other nearby casinos, checks are provided at the table but settled at the cash register near the exit. If you have a player's card here and gamble, you can earn some sort of points which you can use as payment. Waitlist is on paper and is overseen by a separate employee around that area; I've had waits ranging from 0 to 30 minutes. I'll likely be back to Emerald Island Grille regularly as long as they have food promos, or maybe even for their specials of the day if anything sounds interesting. It's affordable and convenient enough as a local option for folks on this side of town.

Nice spot for good food with affordable prices. So far I've had the BLT with avocado which I loved and I also had the larger cheesesteak which was huge and really tasty. This place is constantly busy, so prepare yourself for a short wait especially on the weekends.

    Menu starters

The clams linguine was excellent and my husband had the Texas Melt which is my favorite sandwich. We also ordered onion rings. A little gambling and a good meal, what more could I ask for.

The wait is probably the worst part some days, like Fridays because of their delicious dinner deal! Surf & turf lobster, filet mignon and jumbo shrimps, mashed potatoes your choice of soup or salad for less than $30! The Real meal was a popular choice as many tables had this. Lobster tail and medium rare filet mignon, with asparagus and mashed potatoes It's so good once you're seated food comes quickly. Enjoy coming here for diner style food, especially breakfast!

Every fucking time I come to this POS I'll sit there for 30min and never get served. They serve EVERYONE around me but ignore me. FUCK YOU!!!!

Delicious food and reasonable prices on top dishes, but very busy and high turnover of diners really keeps wait staff running. We noted tables not appropriately cleaned, napkin holders not refilled and dirty silverware brought to our table. Too busy staff leaves guests asking whoever passes by for help.

Great deal!!! $24.99 steak & lobster, appetizer ( shrimp cocktail + soup or salad). -'amazing value!

This isn't better than Outback or Black Angus, but it's much better than the South Pointe Casino deal. Considering the cost and what you get, it's not bad at all. I ordered the steak and lobster with mashed potatoes, and another with fries (the fries were excellent). The food was cooked well and tasted amazing for the price point. The shrimp cocktail exceeded my expectations--thumbs up! The house salad was below average, so I exchanged it for soup. The soup was decent, though my kid loved the salad more than I did. LOL. Overall, it's a great deal! For $24.99, you get steak & lobster, an appetizer (shrimp cocktail), and soup or salad--amazing value! One of the best deals in town!

We had some time to kill after finishing some errands so we decided to stop in for a quick breakfast since it's right around the corner from our home. We were expecting a diner menu, and were seated pretty quickly after we checked in. The restaurant is actually super spacious, there are two split areas for seating. The only thing I noticed was the tables, booths and 1/2 booths are extremely close to each other so there isn't much privacy. We ordered the The feast, coffee and soda The service, food and the ambiance was honestly subpar. The food didn't taste hot, or fresh, the bacon was burnt at the ends, we didn't get much service after receiving our food, so we had to flag anyone down for refills. Also, they give you a slice of watermelon with your food. I mean it's a great deal, but I'm picky over certain things, it's placed right on top of your food. It weirds me out when food does that! The entire food was an assembly, kitchen style feel, and I will not be back. Maybe their lunch or dinner options are better, or if you're hungover the breakfast will get you through. However, if you're looking for taste and a fresh breakfast, I do not think this will satisfy that

Okay , I'm back , I tell it like I see it . I ordered the TBone steak , it was damn good ! Perfectly cooked , good vegetables. The salad was very good! A good meal , thank EIG! Work on the Fish and chips please! FYI, the Fettuccini Alfredo sucked , no flavor I thought she said vegetables in the fettuccini, the asparagus was a nice touch if the sauce would have had flavor, yo Chef Bumpkiss , add some salted butter , add some green onions, a little sour cream goes a long way duffus! Yes I saw what looked like Parmesan cheese , still it had no flavor ! Wtf , where's the pepper?

We wanted to try this place since it's close to the ice rink. Food was reasonably priced. They had a lot of awesome specials but they started at 11pm and we got there at 10pm. We really liked the garlic bread basket with the marinara sauce. I got the sampler and it was good. The onion rings had a bit too much breading for me though. I got my wings with no sauce and they were yummy. The service was excellent and they kept coming back to check on us. So yes, we got plenty of refills on coffee.

Daughter won twenty five dollars while we were waiting for table.

Long time resident of Las Vegas but had never been to the Emerald Island before. CROWDED is an under statement. Twenty minute wait for a table. Everyone cordial and friendly. Server: Elizabeth. Amazing! Low cost of prime rib dinners. Clam chowder excellent. Shrimp appetizer too. Steak so large, took half home. Not related to restaurant but won money on video poker machine while we were waiting for table. Food and service so good that I plan on going there soon.

Very nice! You have to walk through a smokey Casino to get to the restaurant (which is a negative). The restaurant is open to the casino (no door blocking the smoke from the restaurant); however, we sat in the back and it was VERY nice (no notible smoke). The prices are GREAT! And the breakfast was really good. It tasted better than it looked. If you are looking for presentation this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for good food at a decent price you should give it a try.

    Karina R.

I've been here a few times now, and the food hasn't disappointed me yet. I always get some sort of steak just because the price is totally worth it. My husband tends to get something on their daily specials. This day, we also got coconut shrimp for an appetizer, which was good. The only complaint I do have every time I come to eat here is that some of the hosts in the front aren't very nice. Some make me feel like I'm bothering them when I'm asking a question. The servers do make up for the hosts attitudes. The servers that I've had were very respectful and helpful and a lot more cheerful than the hosts. The restaurant is a bit tight, but if you don't mind that this place is definitely a go-to. I will always go back here whenever we go to that side of the town.

I hadn't been to this restaurant before but it is stunning and now I really want to come back for a real meal haha. They had a live band playing and I love that their wall opens up to Water Street and is basically a patio. It's gorgeous here. Our servers were great and so nice with us. I was the only one eating but my family all ordered drinks. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was really freaking good. I'm obsessed with hot honey these days and it really hit the spot. It came with fries which were also really good. This restaurant is gorgeous inside and reminds me of something you'd find downtown Vegas. I definitely want to come back again and get a real sit down experience. I'll be back for a date night for sure!

The meat is fantastic, the bun is excellent, but I'm just not a special sauce kind of person. All they need to do to make their burger really awesome is to carry some BBQ sauce. That's it. This entire establishment does not contain any form of BBQ sauce. Don't get me wrong, I am not somebody who would ever put it on a good steak! But burgers, wings, fries, this place offers a number of things that could be elevated by keeping a few bottles of BBQ in the fridge. Just give me the option, you don't even need to list it on the menu. I used to love the beef stroganoff that they had for a while, but I guess it must not have been popular because they got rid of it. It seems that in it's place they started offering a Shepards pie. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.

My husband and I stopped by for dinner around 3:30 P.M on a Friday at Smoke & Fire. The restaurant is located near South Pecos Road and East Russell Road. There was plenty of parking spots available. As I walked inside the restaurant, a team member had greeted us and let us know that it was open seating. There were only a few other customers inside the restaurant at the time we had dinner. There was plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant though! TVs were situated throughout the restaurant. There was a variety of sports games playing. Sandwiches: Chicken Sandwiches, Brisket Sandwich, Donut Smashed Burger (Seasonal), Sliders Chicken and Waffles, Street Style Tacos, Chicken Tenders and more! After looking through the menu, we ultimately decided on the following 3 Meat Platter: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with Mac N Cheese/Sweet Potato Tots The World Famous Blueberry Chicken Sandwich: Pepper Jack Cheese, Housemade Blueberry Jam, blueberry aioli, and Jalapeno. The service was super quick. I don't think we waited longer than 10 minutes for our meal. It was nice that our meal was served in to go containers as well! The highlight of the meal was the blueberry chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and tender. The blueberry aioli and the jam was scrumptious. This was a first time having a sandwich like this before! I would come back to Smoke & Fire just to get the sandwich. The BBQ pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket was good. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the sweet potato tots though! I don't normally see sweet potato tots so I just had to try it out! They were super crispy and packed with flavor. The food was yummy here and the service was fantastic! If I'm in the area again, I would stop by Smoke & Fire to have another meal. I think next time though, I am going to have to try out their pulled pork burger!

My wife asked for a Club Lightly Toasted- no problem. It was Super Toasted and hard to eat for her. Also the menu said House Smoked Turkey, sorry but this is sliced Deli Turkey from a supplier. The Strawberry smash was really hard to drink due to the chunks of muddled strawberry in the bottom of the glass and the slim straw. Would have been better made from fresh purée and a bigger straw. So you are probably thinking I am being picky. Well perhaps but when you go out a place really needs to make your visits memorable in order to get you to come back. Not saying we won't but... No Wow Factor!
