Came here a few times I will definitely not go back again. I came here a while ago but just remembered to make a review on Yelp. I had 4 new tires installed and balanced and aligned. The next day I'm on the highway and the steering wheel is vibrating crazy. I went back to have them check and watched them re balance the tires. None of them were on 0 that's why my suv was driving like that. I wasted time after work going back and it's a good thing I went before driving to PA. I came here a few years ago before with a different car and had them install new tires but they had tire pressure sensors. I was watching them do it on the first wheel and they installed it wrong. Do Not Come Here if you are running expensive rims or tires. I picked up a nail and prior to them removing the wheel , me and the owner looked at the wheel together and I asked specifically if they were able to deal with this low profile /35 tire and large wheel. Technically it wasn't even low profile as most modern cars are running similar small stiff sidewalls. I was told no problem. Fast forward 30 minutes later, thinking to myself why is it taking so long. Anyhow, there are 3 tire techs ontop of my $2500 rim that is bent to shape and destroyed, the bead on the tire is missing like 1" chunk of rubber. We call HRE on the phone together to get a price on repair, and he begs them to give them a shop rate discount on the repair. Onto the new $300+ tire they also destroyed in the process. He told me he was not covering. I tried to save a hrs drive to my other tire shop, but Emil's was local. read more

I've been using Emil's All Tire for 30 years now. I was just there a few weeks ago for new front struts and an alignment. And he used OEM AC Delco parts, not some cheaper generic part. I took my SUV home and drove around for a week and wasn't really happy with the front alignment. I brought it back the following week and Ralph put it right in for a second alignment at no charge. Well sad story about my visit this auto shop. I had issue with aligment and balance on my car. So i looked on internet for trusted shop, and emils all tire came up with good reviews. So i drove there, and when i arrived whole shop was empty, i meet the owner and told him what need to be done. He said okay no problem. So i waited 1 hour for alugment guy to come and do aligment within 20 min, so then my car was parked for balancing, and i asked why while my car parked you servicing other car with same problem(balance) owner said there is a 3 car before you and then your car. I mentioned that i have been waiting for almost 2 hour and those car arrived after me , so my car need to be fixed first and then other, but the dude(owner) did not said a word and he left. So spoiled autoshop with paid reviews. Waisted my time while i can fix everything within 1 hour. Will look for better shop . Waste of time and money. Dont go there. Unless you are a good friend of that dude emil, he will fix ypur car while others will wait read more

Emils is one of the best local tire and repair shop in the neighborhood. Ralph helped me with my tire pressure problem after dropping off my car around 11:40am. In about 3 hours, I was able to pick up my car. He was really nice and courteous. This was way faster than my previous visit at Plaza Honda Auto where they took 8 hours to fix the same problem. I found this place based on the reviews on the web(not many but good enough). I have to say, they are professionals! The people who work there are very dedicated and careful on the job. They are not just take the money and put everything on your car,they do care about your daily driver, they do want you to be safe. For example, I didn't know my rear axle is completely messed up, it's not even parallel with the front one. One of the mechanics found out and fixed it and said:" It took me some time to fix it, but no one else will fix it for you." I do believe what he said cause this was not my first time to check the alignment and I do believe the problem was there and the shop didn't fix it for me. Never been to a shop that takes better care of it's customers and their cars. I've been a regular customer at Emil's All Tire for over a decade, and will continue to go there, as the experiences I've had ever now and again outside their shop prove to me how reliable and honest they are as compared to all the other shops in the area. Prices are great, they don't seem to overcharge as compared to other shops I've visited. Service is great. Obviously, in a large shop, with other customers around, things can get busy (which only attests to how well known they are for the service) and some patience may be required now and then. But they have always made sure that my cars were taken care of in the best manner possible. I've never had to bring a car back for a repair of a repair. Friendly staff. The mechanics and the people behind the counter are all friendly and patient. They put up with a lot of customers all at once, and I give them a lot of credit for dealing with every one of them so well, including myself. It's tough to find a shop where you can trust the mechanics and the owners to not rip you off and cause you more problems. This place is worth the trip to have your car taken care of. read more

All you need to know is that this place is honest. And if you have a car, then you know that the words honest mechanic don't follow that logical order unless there's the words "yeah right" after words. They are personable, honest and affordable here. They have a wi-fi hookup too which is nice so that you can do work or surf while you are waiting for your car. I've been to many shops but not like this. I met the owner Ralph about a year ago after I took my car to the dealer and was charged over $1200.00 bucks and after driving the car one day it was broken. I did not have a lot of money and use my car for work. I was told about this shop by a good friend and to be honest I did not want to go so far, but im glad I did. Ralph is great he took my car in and told me what needed to be done. I told him I would come back because I did not have the money because I had taken the car to the dealer and was robbed. Ralph recently followed up with me again regarding my service experience. Unfortunately, he hadn't received the message I sent him a year ago, but he still chose to follow up with me to resolve the situation. To me, that speaks volumes about the concern he has for his customers. Apparently, when he offered to clean my car the first time, he had intended to take my car to a detail shop for me, and not attempt to clean it at his own shop. He took the trouble to track me down and reimburse me for the cost of having the interior detailed in Manhattan. Ralph also owns one of the only tire shops in NYC that is open on Sundays, which is reason enough to come back. The absolute place to care for your car!!! I went there to inquire about replacing my tires with top of the line goodyears... Ralph (super cool), didn't have what I wanted but I needed one tire at the moment so I suggested a used one on my driver's front side... Totally blown away how he took care of business for me. I have been a customer at Emil's for over 5 years now, and no job is too large or too small. Although I came here the 1st time to fix a tire, I slowly but surely started bringing my car here for more and more things. Rafi, who runs the operation, won me over on my second visit. I showed up with a failry dead battery on a Friday night while he was closing the shop. He did not blink or hesitate to get the battery replaced on the spot so that I would have a working car for the weekend. Due to this attention to customer service and "can do" attitude I stopped taking my Infiniti to the dealer and have long since come to Emil's as my only stop when it involves my car. My car is now 9 years old and has 150,000+ miles and in the condition that this shop helps me keep my car I have not consider replacing my car yet. Emil's was great I was visiting Brooklyn for 2 days and had a flat tire for my mini cooper on sat nite and needed to drive home or Boston on Sunday I checked a number of places but most either were not open on Sunday or would have to order the tire. Emil's was open at 7 am. I called and Ralph told me they had one in stock . He set it aside for me and I drove there. John the tire man was right on it when I got there. He also was able to get my donut spare back reassembled under the back trunk which is a very complicated process n the mini. I highly recommend them even if it is a little out of your way. read more
