I'm not a meat eater, so I can't review those dishes, but everything else is fair game. I'd say that breakfast is definitely their jam! My usual pick for brekky is the Quinoa Cake Benedict. It's rich, fresh, savory and delicious! But you can't go wrong with any of their sweet options either, just bring an appetite because the portions are generous. I really have never had a bad meal here and I've been dozens of times. The service is good and staff friendly. I like that it's a family owned business, as well. The seating is ample, including outdoor seating on nice days. There is a parking lot that is shared with other businesses, so depending on the day/time you go,it could be tricky, but not impossible, finding a spot. This place is small but has a lot of space inside and out. Its fancy but reasonable. I bought the orange juice and healthy breakfast that included egg whites and spinach along with this quinoa cake it was super delicious!!!!! And the kids had pasta they enjoyed it. Walked in one morning, been waiting to try this place for a while but when we walked in no Goodmorning not even acknowledged. We stood around for about a good five minutes then left. This was absolutely the best Eggs Hemingway I have ever had. The plate came with roast potatoes which unfortunately had skins on them, but I removed them and tasted their subtle garlic flavor. Outstanding! Food came at an appropriate wait time, and worth it since everything appeared to be made from scratch. Food elements were all fresh. The not so good: The waiters serving the room were aloof and brusque. Not once during my meal did one of them come by to inquire about the meal or if I needed anything. The room was not that busy, so there was no excuse for ignoring customers at the tables. The atmosphere of the place was that of an old school Russian dining hall-fresh out of Dr. Zhivago-with open table and chair seating and with stern, preoccupied, cold waiters who have not had any customer service training. Health violation. I ordered online. The guy that handles the cash register had his mask around his mouth but not covering his nose. His mask was way to big for him, and I had to ask him why his nose wasn't covered. This is not something a customer should have to do. Places of employment should also be concerned about their other employees' welfare. Considering that we are in a pandemic and COVID numbers are at a peak, this is even more discerning. My brother is a doctor and is outraged. I am contacting the Department of Environmental health in the morning when they are open. Went here with my wife today, and for the second time in my life, I walked out of a restaurant. Upon entering, we were promptly seated and had our drink orders taken (I had coffee and she had water). The drinks arrived, and then... nothing. We waited and waited, and no one came. We closed our menus to signal we had made up our minds... nothing. I started tapping on the table to signal impatience...nothing. I attempted to make eye contact with ANY staff I saw to tell them we were ready to order... nothing. Just continuously walking by our table, asking others how things were and delivering more food to those who already had it. After about 20 or so minutes of this, I plopped down 3 bucks for the coffee and we walked out. It's a shame, I had been looking forward to trying this place out as all I hear from people is how great it is. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Great breakfast place! Had my first taste of Moroccan food and it was amazing. I ordered the shakshuka. It's chicken and eggs in a tomato stew. Don't order this unless you're really hungry! The sauce is tangy and not too spicy. They serve it with fresh pita they make on site. My buddies orders the famous French toast with a funnel cake on top and eggs with bacon.
