I requested service after being referred to them by Cagles Appliance (since they don't work on Samsung appliances) and the tech, Abraham arrived without a face mask & without proper tools to verify the problems. He didn't even have a thermometer to check my oven temp! He pulled out the refrigerator, just to tell me that the compressor was bad and that it would cost me $900 for parts & labor. I cannot believe that I was charged $75 to just pull out the refrigerator and he did nothing! Abraham acted like he was calling to check on parts, but told me most were discontinued (which I find hard to believe because these appliances are only 5 years old!) Emmanuel Appliances agreed to service a refrigerator/freezer that was not freezing adequately. The repairman said the fix was a simple cleaning. I paid $98 for the cleaning and he left. Shortly thereafter I learned that the freezer was still not working. I made another appointment and the repairman returned. This time he said there was a refrigerant leak. The cost of the repair was going to be a few hundred dollars, more than what I paid for the refrigerator. I declined the offer to repair the refrigerator. In the end, I paid $98 for a cleaning that was not needed. Aside from paying for a service call, which should cost no more that $60, I thought that paying $89 for a needless cleaning wasn't right. She scheduled an appointment for the next day. Abraham came, diagnosed it and said it was the compressor, which was still under warranty with LG. I called LG (now that took more than one call) however the young lady in the office kept me updated through it all, since the compressor would be shipped to them! I called to make an appointment and the receptionist said, "Sorry, we don't repair dishwashers." I don't really understand how your company title suggests that you repair all appliances. I called them to fix my ice maker in my fridge. They were able to send a tech out the next day in the evening after I got off work with no problem. The tech thought he knew the problem and had to order a new motor. He came back and installed it in the evening after I got off work. And now it won't make ice at all! Doesn't even seem like the ice maker is even running. I called Emmanuel's and now they don't have as much availability to get the tech back out as they did at the start. Now there's 6 hour windows and they can't come back for 4 more days and because I work, the secretary kept saying over and over that I "have a special time frame", and because of my special time frame, they just can't get someone there any sooner. Amazing! How the story changes once they have already been to your house and collected your money and still haven't done the job right. Now I'm considered a special time frame client and my job isn't as important since they won't be getting paid to come out this time. I don't recommend them at all. read more

We do not recommend using Emmanuel Appliances. They appear able to replace parts for standard repairs but that's all. Emmanuel Appliances serviced our refrigerator and laundry center twice each over the past 15 months. They are both approximately 5 years old. The refrigerator had a bad temperature sensor, which they replaced. Fifteen months later, the temperature sensor needed to be replaced again. The technician had no explanation for this and agreed it should not have happened so gave us a $10 discount from a nearly $200 charge. Afterward, when we examined the old part (the one he replaced just 15 months ago), we noticed a cut in the the wire's plastic casing which looked like it had been pinched when he installed it. In between refrigerator repairs, our laundry center was leaking water and the technician said we had a bad valve. He replaced it at a charge of over $220. Two and a half months later we had the same leak. He responded and said the problem was a new problem, caused by a part that was no longer manufactured. He charged us a service call, despite it being the same issue and he was not able to fix it. Since the part was unavailable my husband decided to try and fix it himself. We discovered the problem was neither the valve that was replaced nor the unavailable part. It was a buildup of hard water in the spray nozzle causing the water to splash over the tub and inside onto the floor. He enlarged the sprayer holes and we've had no further problems. We spent nearly $300 on the washing machine and nearly $400 on the refrigerator, not including the time wasted waiting for them to be repaired. Lesson here is: Do not reward Incompetence, we recommend you call someone else! read more

Carlos is truly amazing, he came to fix my washer and did a great job. I noticed I was still having problems so I called them back up and he came the next day to see what the problem was. He said it was a part and he was only going to charge me that part with no labor which was great since I had already paid for labor the first part. He came back with the part and was able to fix the valves and not charge me anything at all.
