Edward, the owner, is a real expert in tankless water heaters. After interviewing five other plumbing companies and countless hours of research, we met with him and he confirmed what I had thought from my previous experience with Rinnai tankless water heaters. His quote and his approach saved us thousands of dollars and the space for the old tank in our small laundry room. That by itself makes me thrilled we went with him. Then his team showed up and did an amazing job of installing the unit, minimizing the damage, and finding the electric source they needed. They cleaned up beautifully, were quiet and inobtrusive while they worked, and performed some "tie off" work like capping the old air gap on the roof and putting a plate over it on the inside ceiling. My wife and I wanted a tankless hot water heater installed, chose the brand we wanted (Rennai) and was recommended Emmco through the water heater company's website. Emmco responded quickly and set up an appointment for an estimate. To compare, I had another company give me an estimate, too. The owner himself showed up right on our agreed-upon time, and we discussed the project. Turned out that the first company was trying to oversell me on a model I didn't need, which would have required much more cost with new gas lines, etc. (I called the other company only to find out they went out of business - interesting!) The Emmco technicians were right on-time, and both were friendly and respectful. They described exactly what they were going to do and worked efficiently and quickly. I could tell from their work that they care about what they do, as they organized and installed the water and gas lines in a clean and visually appealing way. They cleaned up after themselves, and hauled away my old, heavy, tank-water heater without being asked. The water heater works wonderfully, and we are incredibly pleased with it. BEWARE!!!!! Of EMMCO total rip off! Had a question on a unit they installed and Terresa said no problem I'll have ED come out and take a look at it. Not mentioning anything about a service fee of $95. Website clearly states no hidden fees or charges. Then I called and asked about the hidden fee and they totally ignored my phone calls. Don't spend your money at EMMCO! I would shop around for more honest people. I was charged a service fee for a question about a unit they installed. Teresa said no problem I'll have Ed out there and take a look at it. From my understanding it was a installation issue and still under warranty. She not once mentioned a service fee. Had I known that I would of never of had them come out. The question could of easily been answered over the phone. It shows how bad Emmco would screw over there customers for a simple question! Great service. They be at my house on time. My AC suddenly stopped working and I was concerned about whether it is a large cost to fix or not, since I have no knowledge about AC. The technician fixed it right away with throughly check our air condition explaining the details for me patiently. They charge me VERY reasonable price after all this work which would charge me three or four times at least if other company comes. Cannot find such a honest & high quality AC Company anymore here in Tucson. Definitely will use them again if with any AC issue. read more

Had AC issues just after we bought this house. American Home Shield would reset something, get the unit working and leave. Gave up on them and called Emmco. Got right down to the problem. The mother board was burnt to a crisp. They jumped around it while they got a new mother board, replaced it and things have been fine since. Like three years.Emmco gets high marks ( as you can see in my rating). This does not speak very well for AHS. They should have replaced the mother board. It would seem they took the easy way out. read more

I wish there were six stars. Emmco is and has always been amazing. They have done many of the ac conversations for my family over the years. With my God fathers and fathers units they have always stood by there work. Recently my unit was acting up. I called and made an appointment before leaving town on my families first vacation in years. Upon returning the unit wasn't working at all. I already had them scheduled for the next day. When they showed up to service the unit they also fixed the problems and barley charged me more that the service call was supposed to be to fix the entire unit. I really appreciated how they checked and explained things. I do most of the work around the house, but when it is something like this that I don't specialize in I freak out. Almost got hosed by home warranty but EMMCo saved the day. William C is amazing - incredibly knowledgeable and very thorough. 2.10 assigned me to Superior Air who took 5 days to come out and then said I needed a new motor at $800 a pop. After the 11th day with no AC and the part not even shipped, Theresa at EMMCo sent over William and he fixed a $20 part the same day! I've had good experiences for a while with this company from installation of a tankless water heater to preventive AC maintenance. Unfortunately my latest experience was so bad, I will not use EMMCO again. I was charged for 12 man-hours of work on the Spring cooler maintenance of 4 coolers at a property I own. It is simply not realistic for 3 men to take care of this in 4 hrs. Ed was simply unamenable to my disbelief; he gave me a song and dance about the relative difficulties of AC vs swamp cooling work, and refused to discuss it further. Later I discovered that one of the coolers which needed 32 inch pads was fitted with 30 inch pad. read more

Ed is the most honest and reliable A/C guy i have ever used. On the hottest day of the year our a/c went out. Ed came out Saturday 4 hours after I called. He replaced a bad $6.00 part. about a month later my a/c went out again. Ed came out within hours and found a bad electrical connection on the part he put in last trip. No charge! he could have told me it needed a new compressor for $1500 and i would have gotten it. read more
