We only got the seasonal oysters on the half shell (unfortunately I cannot remember which ones!) and it was happy hour so it was only 2$ per oyster. The booths are a bit cramped and made me feel a bit claustrophobic, but the overall fisherman-ambiance was very pleasant and the service was very fast. read more

$2 an oyster, heard that is a great deal! We had ordered raw oysters, clam chowder and fried oyster. Walked in and looked like it was a seat yourself concept, but we weren't sure. The staff was friendly, came by and checked on us often. The raw oysters were pretty decent in size, some were big, some were smaller and some were normal. The clam chowder was okay, darker than what I usually see, more of a rosemary taste to it. The fried oysters were bomb.com! You don't need the dip but I ate it anyways. I am so confused about the poor reviews this place has received because we had a lovely experience. In my humble opinion, we had some phenomenal oysters, delicious fries with some kind of out of this world dill dip, with two great brews served iced cold. The service took a moment but it was only one person by themselves, taking care of around six tables and she was great! We sat outside in the corner, it didn't feel cramped or loud at all and there was an umbrella to provide shade on this sunny day. It was overall a great experience. I'm glad I didn't listen to the Yelp reviews here and read a lot of "must try" lists because this was honestly great. If we didn't have plans later I would have wanted to try more items on the menu but would definitely come back the next time we're in town! read more

The oysters here are good and cheap! I'm not oyster connoisseur but I very much enjoyed it for the price ($2 each, all day!!). We got a 1/2 dozen of the agate pearl and another 1/2 dozen of the sea whips The agate pearl oysters had kind of a sweet creamy taste to them while the sea whips was very briny. Came in because we saw a sign advertising $2 oysters. There was only one waiter so we sat ourselves. The table was cleared, but it didn't look wiped down. The place was pretty crowded, we assume because of the $2 oyster deal. Our waiter was super busy but amazing. He didn't not have an easy job as the only waiter, but he did check in on us many times with a smile. The Agate Pearl Oysters were $2 each if you ordered at least 1/2 a dozen. The Olympic Wild, Cranberry Creek, and Kumamoto Oysters were $3 each if you ordered at least 1/2 a dozen. We ordered two 1/2 dozens of Agate Pearl Oysters and Fried Oysters for $16.46 with fries for an additional $4.95. We got horseradish for 50 cents. The raw oysters were delicious with the marinara and horseradish sauces. The fried oysters were delicious with their dipping sauce. The fries were alright. The fries were not hot and crispy. Unfortunately, one member of our group did have stomach issues a few hours after the meal. Would return for the raw oysters. read more

Also, though their health rating was excellent, my sister in law had a worm or something in her raw oysters which really put us off. It was unclear if it fell into their platter as they were seated outside, or if it was a bad batch. Hidden in pike place market! My boyfriend and I had stumbled across Emmett Watson's Oyster Bar out of pure luck. We were feeling pretty spontaneous and a little hungry, so why not haha. We ordered half a dozen oysters ($2 each). Oh my goodness, they were delicious! Fresh, no trace of the ocean at all. They're sourced locally from what I remember and we had two types of oysters. So we did come like 30ish minutes before closing, but our server was extremely nice, attentive and did not disappoint! Usually people would get a little frustrated with their customers because of that reason, yet he took care of us well. Overall a great experience! And I look forward to coming back soon. read more

Although it's located in Pike Place, it's down in a hallway. Rest assured, you should definitely try this place out! They have a deal for $2 per Oysters with a limited purchase of 1/2 a dozen. But trust me, you're gonna want at least a dozen. We had only 1/2 a dozen because we were limited on time. The oysters were fresh and delicious! Their cocktail sauce and home made hot sauce was great with the oysters. The service was good. The employee was very nice and helpful. It didn't take long for our food to come out. Cozy little restaurant located in the shops adjacent to pike place market. Small menu but has all the necessities. They offer beer and wine. We got there around 5PM on a Sunday and sat at the bar. The bar had about 4 or 5 stools. We each had a seattle Pilsner and I tried the Asian Pear cider. The cider was yummy. We just had some snacks: fries, bread and butter, and a half dozen shuckers choice $2 oysters. The smaller oysters were sweeter (sea spray I believe), and the larger ones were meatier and briny (can't remember what they were called). Everything was great! Their Tabasco was made in house (interesting). Service was good. There was only 1 person serving and bartending. She was attentive and made sure we were all taken care of. This place was on my "should try list" when I came Seattle just before Covid. I got a chance to visit this Seattle trip. I came here first time on Tuesday,,,,, REMINDER! they close on Tuesday! So I tried next day again. I heard this place was pretty famous so exactly Lu ch time was pretty busy. But when I went to just after 13:00, the door was open, but nobody was inside. Some tourists sat outside tables, and nobody at the inside tables. (Actually a guy sat the counter table and had some drink, and he told me they are open and staff will come, no worry) It's cozy place and blue interior is cute. All booth seats, and feels like very classic. Only one staff was working, but he was nice. I had a seat inside and ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and Emmett's Oyster Bar Special(with cup chowder). Shortly my glass wine served. Then my meal came. 3pcs of fresh oysters, 4pcs shrimps, 2ices of bread, and cup of chowder. Oysters were very fresh and good for my wine, shrimps also good. But I'm not sure the chowder wasn't tasty also looked soup and oil separated, not creamy chowder what I know as a chowder. TLDR; sit at the bar. Jess (the bartender) is amazing. Best oysters for us were the Royal Miyagi and Kumamoto. After disembarking our Alaskan cruise and getting breakfast at Pike Place, my partner and I were ready to get some oysters, so we headed to Emmett Watson's. We arrived 5 minutes before opening and they opened the doors promptly at 11a. We decided to sit at the bar (only 4 stools) and were so glad we did! Jess was our bartender and waitress and helped make this such a wonderful experience! She was extremely knowledgeable about the drinks on tap (REALLY knowledgeable) and guided us thru the oyster selections. She was the perfect balance of friendly and funny. Also, I so appreciated that she would leave us for periods of time to read, talk between ourselves, and enjoy the food. After being subjected to long disembarkation lines and huge crowds at the marketplace, I needed the peace and quiet. But whenever Jess did come around, it was a pleasure to chat with her. We definitely ended up staying longer than planned just to hang out with her lol. I strongly recommend checking out Emmett Watson and grabbing a barstool seat. Our favorite oysters were the Royal Miyagi and Kumamoto. We will be back to try the last oyster on the list that we didn't taste! Hidden gem. They are known for their oysters. I think they are hard to find...below the Post Alley (there are stairs) or you can enter from the shopping area by Starbucks. FANTASTIC oysters and steamed mussels (in garlic broth). They have the HOT horseradish, which I appreciate. The mussels come with two slides of their delicious bread to dip in the broth. There are tables, booths, and seating in the bar area. On "nice" days, they also offer outdoor seating. They offer five beers on tap and 7 beers in bottle. A few wines available. read more

This is an unusual review, but I didn't know where else to say this. I was there with a couple of friends two nights ago from out of town and we were there close to closing. The server who helped us was a super cool Asian chick who recommended this incredible restaurant to us and we just wanted to say thank you to her and made sure she saw this because we were supposed to go again the next day for lunch but weren't able to make it and we felt so bad!! Please if someone can let her know we appreciated not only her recommendations for the delicious oysters (especially the Olympic oysters), but also for the other restaurant. It literally was some of the best food we had in our entire Iives and we cannot thank you enough. And we are so sorry we didn't come back! I walked in around 315, place was pretty empty except for outside where every table was taken. We were seated inside in one of their little booths. It's an older place, so just know that the booths are small but accommodating. I reviewed the menu and promptly ordered my beer and a dozen raw oysters. The beer was out in about five minutes, and the oysters were about 10 minutes behind the beer. The oysters were good. The restaurant gives you three different kinds.
