Great spot for a scenic lunch & stroll around Silver Lake with our newborn. We stopped in on Wednesday at 2pm, seated right away. The hostess was super kind, offered a sling for our car seat and made extra space for us. HH menu felt smaller than I remember, but food was still good: calamari (huge + perfectly fried), green bean fries (highly recommend), and Manila clams (would skip next time). We shared a Caesar with salmon, split into 2 plates: tasty but the salmon portion was pretty small for +$15 IMO.

We stopped in on a quiet Thursday night, thinking they wouldn't be very busy... Boy were we wrong! We asked for a table outside, the wait wasn't long at all surprisingly. Shortly after being seated, Rio showed up with water and asked if we had any questions about the menu. If you haven't had dinner on "The Deck" on a beautiful Pacific Northwest evening, then you are missing out! Rio thoughtfully offered to bring us bread while we wait for the Calamari. Calamari that was done very well! Lightly breaded, perfectly seasoned. The dipping sauces were tasty too! I want to apologize in advance for not taking pictures of our entrees, but they looked sooo f'n good we just started murdering them! My Queens steak was a perfect medium rare, and my seafood fettuccine was loaded with deliciousness. We both made sure to leave some room for dessert, which was also done very well. We enjoyed the berry sorbet and the old fashioned berry shortcake. Both were absolutely amazing! Between the stunning view, the great service from Rio and the passionately prepared dishes the talented kitchen was preparing, tonight was an experience worth returning for, Thank you Emory's

Made an online reservation and waited about 7 minutes to be seated. We ordered two appetizers, soup, and a salad. The spicy buffalo cauliflower was overcooked and overly sauced, and the calamari was mostly small pieces rather than the larger rings I expected. The salad was good, though I didn't expect raw mushrooms. I had planned to order a cocktail with Empress gin from the online menu, but it was no longer available in the restaurant. The cocktail I ordered instead was a bit too sweet. I really liked the atmosphere, but the food was the part I was least satisfied with.

My first visit to Emory's left something to be desired. My boyfriend and I decided to stop in for their happy hour, which has a decently sized food and drink menu with reasonable prices. I started with a peach hard lemonade, which was sweet and tangy with an $8.50 price tag. The food, on the other hand, was just alright. Our Woodstone pizzas were tasty, but the crust was underwhelming. This is a seafood restaurant, so the pizza isn't their priority. We dined on the patio, which was pretty toasty on a 70° day. The shades were closed, so we missed out on the lake views. Overall, we had a decent visit, and enjoyed the atmosphere, but won't be rushing back.

Emory's was the choice for tonight's birthday dinner! July 14th sun shining, water still, a few people out on paddle boards, and life as we know it happening! We had an amazing dinner with not one disappointed face. We started with Calamari Fritti and Steamed Clams. The calamari was crispy, with small rings and a really good dipping sauce. The boyfriend and daughter pretty much devoured the clams--they were sitting in the most flavorful lemon-butter sauce, which they both practically wanted to drink. Drinks: Ginger ale and Jameson Berry Berry Drop (beyond delicious) Shirley Temple My daughter had the Garlic Cheese French Dip. It was her first time trying a French dip and she said it was tasty and she enjoyed it. My boyfriend ordered the Creamy Seafood Risotto. Nothing but positive things came out of his mouth with every single bite! He even had enough to take home for lunch tomorrow. I did the 3 for $33 option: Caesar Salad - easily the most delicious and flavorful Caesar I've had in a long time. Plenty of cheese and dressing. Double R Ranch Top Sirloin with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies - ordered medium well and it came out perfect. Flavorful, well-seasoned, and you could cut it like butter. The mashed potatoes were fluffy and seasoned just right. The veggie was peas not my cup of tea, but they looked fresh and my daughter liked them! Dessert: Orange Crème Brûlée. My boyfriend and daughter shared it and loved it! We'll definitely be back for more tasty food!

Food was spectacular. I had a Shrimp Louie salad. I ate everything in this fresh salad, it had eggs, avocados, tomatoes, radishes, olives, orange peppers, tons of delicious shrimp in a very tasty thousand island dressing. Great warm bread with whipped butter. Hubby had steak n shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Cooked to order and perfect. Laura our beautiful wait staff was terrific. We had for dessert the strawberry cheesecake with strawberries and crème brûlée topping. What a taste sensation!! Go! I wish we had a place like this near where we live. Then we took a walk around the lake behind the restaurant. Full of ducks and fishermen hanging around. Silver Lake is just breathtaking!

The food is acceptable, though it could benefit from additional seasoning. The view of Silver Lake is beautiful.

We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get the black pepper sauce! Amazing from start to finish, and Chef V or Rachel is lovely to work with.

The online menu asked what two sides you want with the Loco Moco. It showed a plate with two burgers, two eggs on a large bed of rice plus gravy...and what looks to be macaroni salad for 13.75. It asks what you want for your first side. It asks what you want for your 2nd side. I am guessing you get 2 sides with the rice/burgers. I was not real sure. So I asked for 2 sides of macaroni. It asks for mini or 2.50 for regular. I am thinking they will give you reg. side macaroni for 2.50 more. I go back and ask for mini. I do not need that much macaroni. Very disappointed to open the take out container to find zero rice and one small burger with an egg sitting in gravy and 2 sides of macaroni. They need to make this more clear. You only get 2 burgers and eggs if you add 2.50 (regular size). If you choose mini its not for the size of the sides but way less meat. I believe the photo and wording were very misleading. We also ordered Mochiko Chicken....Macaroni salad and broccoli, also a mini. I had it once before, somewhere else, and loved it. Ordered a Hawaiian Chicken BBQ plate, again mini and 2 sides. Did not like either of them. Hawaiian chicken BBQ was like a chicken thigh flattened with soy sauce maybe...no sweetness etc. They both kind of tasted the same. My 2 adult kids barely ate any of it. This was a real treat for us on a very sad day and it was not what we were expecting.....The macaroni salad was just ok...if I added salt. Said We could save 15% with ordering more so we ordered the won tons. They did not come with sweet and sour sauce but sweet chili sauce. I did not care for it at all with the fried won tons. After some recommendations from our server, we decided on the associates board and the glazed carrot (we definitely felt like we needed a veggie dish). The associates board came with three cuts of steak, which included the filet, a wagyu tri-tip and a wagyu denver. The filet was the standout here, as well as the beef tallow butter it was served with. The other cuts were good, but didn't wow us. We ordered the steak medium rare, but it was more on the rare side. The ceilings are high, and the walls and floors are all spotless white. No decorations, very little merchandising, if any. There's a long butcher case on the left full of all kinds of crazy treats. Prawns the size of bratwursts. Steaks, roasts, different fish. They skip most of the stuff that supermarkets carry and focus only on more-specialty stuff.
